I went there in January 2022. It was only me (the tourist) and my guide at the entire resort. I stayed at the same exact room with yours.. 😂.. It was raining throughout my stay there. Had to go through rain during the cruise in search of the big 5 but i only managed to 3 out of 5. I too didn't like the journey from the airport to bilit.. It was 2.5 hrs long...
