I stayed in the same resort when I was in Borneo, had a great experience and got to see some orangutan and huge crocodiles sun bathing. Very friendly staff and I loved it
You've been keeping so busy and your camera is working overtime, Paddy. You are the next Mark Wiens, sir....only with cool trips instead of just food. Rock it, my friend!
Paddy, I've officially made it through all your videos! Finally, caught up to you in real time. Love your travels and candid perspectives. Cheers mate.
I’ve tried staying at a Tree house in the Borneo jungle. It will be a truly amazing experience to listen to birds chirping, insects and nocturnal animals trespassing the tree house. Try it if you get a chance 😊
One good location to see all these top animals is Lokkawi Zoo in Kota Kinabalu. I know they are not supposed to end up there but Sabah Wildlife Department is doing a great job just to keep small numbers of them and many under rehabilitation due to illegal trafficking, killing etc. If you feel disappointed after the trip, do drop by and support the Zoo with a token of entrance fees for the animal benefits. This is not a business but funding for keeping the rest in the wild. You will see them all at one place.
Best Video yet, This is the Borneo I was looking forward too, getting out in the jungle in nature with all the animals. Looks like an epic adventure. Wish I was there. Next Level for sure! Thanks for the pro tips!
Hiya Paddy. An amazing experience. Thank you for taking us along. Love the night walks. That bloke on the other boat. LOL. Great to hear the pros and cons of your experience. Can not wait to share.
Good thoughts at the end - keeping things real is so important. I have been on dolphin tours in Florida where we saw 'maybe' a dolphin in the far off distance. 😂 The last time I drove thru Custer Park in South Dakota, I didn't see ONE bison.... 😂 One of my favorite posts on social media is a review (fake or not, I do not know) for Yellowstone National Park that complains that they didn't see any animals and how the park needs to do a better job "releasing" the animals so visitors can see them. 😂 People be cray. Anyway, the river cruise did look fun! Can't wait to see the next part of the adventure!
I have been enjoying all your videos ever since I discovered you during your Switzerland series. 💗👍 Stay safe!! Best wishes from San Diego, California. 🌞
Thank you Paddy for reminding me my trip about 15 yrs ago. We were lucky to see both orangutans and Pygmy elefants but we didn`t see any crocks. Proboscis monkeys were really amazing too. Good quality video that you`ve made again! I just love your production. Keep it posting!
Well done, Paddy. Looks like a fantastic time, whether you saw the wildlife or not. The morning river cruise truly looked majestic. You made us feel like we were there with you. 😎
Sabah has many interesting locations to visit, from the island to the forest, but the route is insufficient, therefore it is best to use a travel agent to make your journey easier.
Great stuff. I knew you'd love it. We went there in 2009. I must go back as I am an animal fanatic. (I am horrified to hear about the plastic bottles. We saw none in the river in August, 2009).
Plastic problem is a problem in sabah (river and sea). Water villages with no waste management is bad too. You will be shocked how refugees and stateless people live (bajau laut)
thanks for admitting the stock footage - I was starting to think that the probiscus monkeys were really that close! We spent 3 hours looking for a pygmy elephant - thankfully we saw one at the end but it really is not guaranteed and it is a total lottery
Hey man. Don't mind if I ask a question about the hornbill u filmed. Was that on the boat cruise? That particular species do not exist in Borneo natively.
I love to see a bekantan monkey with long nose. You looks so happy in this ecotourism at Borneo . Which side ? Sabah or Sarawak ? Bekantan from south kalimantan Indonesia.
If you think the plastic pollution is bad along the Kinabatangan, wait until you get to Semporna! Was one of the saddest realities about our trip through M.Borneo, our scuba guide said there were people on islands with no waste management systems in place and the government weren’t doing anything about it. Second shock was the scale of palm oil plantations - but apparently a chunk of primary forest was already cleared by Brits years ago to grow rubber!
Those people are either illegal immigrants from the Philippines who built their illegal settlements or the nomadic stateless sea gypsy because they lived on a boat between Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia sea borders.
For me, Kinabatangan was really a sad place to see. Soon it will be just resorts among palm oil plantations.... the area is completely devastated and basically, there is just a thin line of trees along the river and you can see plantations through it. How can you expect to see many animals then...
Yes heavy storms or flood brings in rubbish from upstream. Really bad too at sea (sea rubbish at marine parks of tunku abdul rahman and tun sakaran, mabul island.
I walk the canals and coconut plantations of Bangkok, daily. I see tons to plastic and general waste in the water and can't understand why humans are SO STUPID! In most urban areas of Bangkok rubbish collections happen nightly! Great video Paddy.
Stayed there and loved it, great boat tours and night walks. But please ditch the skunk shirt, you're not a Takem or a supporter of Saud slavery/ discrimination ha'way lad.
I've noticed that this video doesn't seem to have a clear declaration for paid promotion, despite being warned about it last week. I'm going to report this video or spam/mass advertising
Well done Paddy well done! You made it through all the trials and tribulations of high altitude trekking, floated the rivers seeing all the majesty and animals, even missing a few. I personally could care less about crocodiles they’re everywhere all countries-ugly destroyers you ask me! Errthang else and the night jungle walks-a must see! All in all Paddy, I had to go away awhile too so I understand all your emotions too. I started with you an Dreamy🛵, in Thailand and was hooked! I’m into personal, journeys-not a vacay stay short lived! When I do there’s an over abundance of others, yet, I trust YOU, Flora and Note(found thru u) and Two Passports One Dream!!! THANK YOU a gazillion times 🤔😂and THE moment I have funds-you first then F n N then 2passports! Heavens to mergatroid yay let it be so… Love you Paddy, safest travels, may you stay blessed with good weather!!!🙏🏻❤️🦩💨

Where did you go? What's the name of the tree house?
Where did you go? How to find a tree house?
@@CambodianGeographicyou may check out Permai Rainforest Resort n Santubong Sarawak Borneo 😊
@@beauregardkim7489there is one in Sarawak Borneo called Permai Rainforest Resort although there are other locally operated tree houses for tourists 😊
Fantastic Paddy. We had our honeymoon in Borneo back in 2015 and this series has brought back so many great memories.
Cool! Really great! Super. Always happy when I watch your stuff. Thank you!

That river cruise looks brilliant!
Hiya Paddy.
An amazing experience. Thank you for taking us along.
Love the night walks.

Great to hear the pros and cons of your experience.
Can not wait to share.
I've been to the Kinabatangan river cruise in 2014, absolutely enjoyed that trip..
Love your videos of Borneo Paddy, memories.
I use to live in Sabah in the late 60's till late 70's
Cheers 🍻
I was very lucky seeing a whole family of elephants with babies at the shore. We were like 3 meters away on the boat.
Really loving it, nature is next level. Thanks Paddy😊

Such a great insight into a place we must put on the bucket list. 👍
I have been enjoying all your videos ever since I discovered you during your Switzerland series. 💗👍
Stay safe!!
Best wishes from San Diego, California. 🌞
Very nice tour. Reminded me much of spending a few days in an Eco Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Superb experience lost in the jungle and far from all networks 👍🏻 how lucky 🍀.
And always with this superb Magpies jersey 😉

Loved travelling with you paddy, good job 👍
beautiful kit sir!
Well done, Paddy. Looks like a fantastic time, whether you saw the wildlife or not. The morning river cruise truly looked majestic. You made us feel like we were there with you. 😎
You can see same thing at khao Sok national park, mostly before sunset when they come out for water.
Wow, wow, wow. The Probiscus Monkeys 😊😊😊😊😊

Love the budget Jurassic Park music at the start ^^
Wow jungle amazon
That resort looks amazing!

During night walks, sometimes the elusive tarsier appears.
Hey man. Don't mind if I ask a question about the hornbill u filmed. Was that on the boat cruise? That particular species do not exist in Borneo natively.
You are correct. The Great Hornbill in this video doesn't live on Borneo Island.
Mantapp❤
Im going on this tour in February, small question but did you take your own beer 😂
Gotta love it! dcb
My tv is a rectangle space.
omg! thats me at 3:36 min 😅
I love to see a bekantan monkey with long nose. You looks so happy in this ecotourism at Borneo . Which side ? Sabah or Sarawak ?
Bekantan from south kalimantan Indonesia.

would be nice if you tell us the cost of the trips

Maybe i missed it but how much do these river cruise expeditions cost?
How much did this tour cost?
Yes heavy storms or flood brings in rubbish from upstream. Really bad too at sea (sea rubbish at marine parks of tunku abdul rahman and tun sakaran, mabul island.
just wondering what vpn youre using?
Nord he said. Not surfshark

Err its proboscis...
Riiiiight?! He must’ve said “probiscus” at least 5 times! But I still love ur Asian vlogs, Paddy😅
Agree plastic bad
Is a "probiscus" monkey similar to a "proboscis" one? 😂
It's Proboscis monkey. Not Probiscus.
No Elephants no Orangutan in this video
Stayed there and loved it, great boat tours and night walks.
But please ditch the skunk shirt, you're not a Takem or a supporter of Saud slavery/ discrimination ha'way lad.
Lain kal jangan bawa nama borneo tapi pake bendera Malaysia soal nya borneo terbagi 3 negara ada Indonesia, Malaysia, brunei Darussalam.
Borneo bknya wilayah kalimantanya knp bendera malaysialan
plastic! such a crime to see what we’ve done and continue to do to our planet.
