Holy shit your confidence and execution is really top notch and getting better and better every vid. Your old close ups and detailed shots can’t touched. Keep it up Tae. Xox
stock sounded pretty damn good! Lil rattle one stabs but thats not unexpected. Really love the designs and aesthetic they have for this line. Especially the “Plastic” colorway
As much as I admire the look of opaque cases, there's just something special about transparent cases that give me the fizz. Love the aesthetic and vibes of this board. But the disassembly and lack of via compatibility is a bit of a deal breaker. Sounds great tho.
For some reason i havent seen a TaeKeyboards video in a while. Holy CRAP your quality has dramatically improved congrats!!! I ended up joining the early bird backer for this board for the "Plastic" variant specifically. For a $165 pre built im actualy kind of excited.
Loved the end, such clean shots. Always something new haha, keying out the color and adding some scenes. At first I thought it was a mirror reflection somehow ngl...
Love the quality of your vids and the customization you put into keyboards. You said adding the design wasn’t the best way to do that, I’m assuming you used water decals? Did you put a topcoat? what would you say is the best?
Ye, not the best because i had to cut everything quite precisely, and then line everything up. If I had like a clear backing sticker, it would be easier. There's also other methods. Clear coat was applied to the decal itself after printing. But nothing after that :)
Hey! Great vid as always! Does the the flex improve when you remove the bottom silicone piece? Perhaps some of the stiffness was alleviated when you removed it?
Just to clarify, 2.4GHz is used for lower latency than BT, its essentially close to wired latency. But, BT 5.1 already has pretty good low latency, plus uses less battery, for casual users, BT mode would be fine.
Alright what's with the face in the keycap around two minutes? Thanks for reviewing this! Your dedication with creative customizing is always fun to see. Great info about this not being easy to crack open. This keeb is really cool, though different than I was expecting!
So it basically has a 67lite/Rama mute mount thing but with poron instead of silicone. The plate looks like it has some tabs that roll down like the GMMK pro, maybe if you trim the part that is rolled down (not the part that is flat) it might have a little more flex.
I really love what you did with the Kiki sticker (or is it a decal?). It looks really cool! What is that process called? I want to find a guide on how to do it and what materials I'd need. Great video!
MG is a slightly lower SA with MT3 like scoops. If you like SA but think it’s too high this probably isn’t it. If you like MT3 but think it’s too high, this could be good. If you’re just curious, Melgeek has some MG caps in stock atm.
yup pretty much what Ares said. I should have talked about it a little bit more, but I personally don't use MT3, SA, and those kinds of profiles that often.
Feels more like an overview than a review. I know so little about the prebuilt market that I was hoping to see how it compares to other options for a similar price or compare what features this does or doesn't have compared to alternative options.
fair enough :) i'll keep that in mind for future videos. I think we sometimes fall into the trap of assuming people have some sort of general knowledge. There's also so many options, factors, and aspects that all keyboards have, so it can be a little difficult to compare all these things.
Very thorough and helpful review. Not to mention great voice and production. Sadly, I'm still on the fence about this one. I'm tempted to back it just because it is so different stylistically.
after owning this keyboard for a little over 6 months now, i can say this keyboard easily has the best factory lubed switches and stabilizers. however, i have been experiencing ghosting, input lock (don't know what to call it but sometimes i would press a key and it would go on nonstop until i pressed another key.) also sometimes my key presses just would not register until i pressed a few more keys and waited for a bit. maybe it's just my board but i felt like i should let people know. (fyi it only started to do this after about 4-5 months and i only used it in wireless mode unless im charging it. i however still noticed "input lock" even when wired.)
Could you please compare Mojo68 and KBD67 bluetooth dual mode and which one you prefer, I can't decide which one to buy when I see that KBD67 lite R3 will be released on November.
They're on Kono right now but I don't know if I like the pricing. 199 and 79 for the numpad. It's called a group buy but it's certainly not the same prices and pretty far off from what they were during the Kickstarter
KARA doesn't come with keycaps, switches, and stabilisers. So I guess you have to factor that in with pricing. Additionally, KARA is HHKB layout, while Mojo is 65%. So that's dependent on what you prefer :)
This is awsome been wanting more options s for budgetish wireless gaming custom board and gasket to boot. I'm feeling this for when I need a wireless board to game.
Great revie of this keyboard ! I;d really like to get the keyboard in this video however neveer bought via kickstarter. Appreciate if someone can addvise how i can buy this keyboard

The sound signature really surprised me, I was not expecting it to sound this snappy

So happy to hear an Aussie accent in the kb community, feels so much more homely to watch. Keep it up TaeKey!

I've been waiting for a review of this keeb, thank you! That Monster variant looks great!

The wired version does support both VIA and QMK, not just this Mojo68, but all of their PCBs.
@@conin.v ooooh gotchu. Honestly would pick this board up. The case looks absolutely fantastic.
The edit and sticker makes the board looks good. But I think its hard to beat Keychron Q1 in regards to price and flex
Holy smokes the green screen shots at the end were so cool

That kiki modding with green screen effect was so creative I want to try!

You never miss, was great to watch you edit this live even for a short segment. Great content as always loved the banana splits sound ❤️
Good Morning Taekeyboards, Time after time your video quality and storytelling skills blow my mind. Keep up the good work :)
Happy Birthday Danny boy. Hope you have a good one 🥳
How good is watching the rain while taekeyboards watches the rain
these ttc sound do good even on stock
Beautiful set up, I wish these were still available in the transparent colors.
The clear one / plastic and ember are beautiful! The sound tho 😳

Such a good intro so so calming

Holy… I though the first few seconds were and ad that’s some good camera work my guy!!
thanks for this, decided to get the plastic version
Currently using MG ember on my new sofle v2. I think this is easily my new favorite keycap profile. Also they sound great.

Hi, do you have a list of upcioming keyboards you might be reviewing, it would be exciting to know what's coming soon.
Just to clarify, 2.4GHz is used for lower latency than BT, its essentially close to wired latency. But, BT 5.1 already has pretty good low latency, plus uses less battery, for casual users, BT mode would be fine.

How are MG keycaps for typing in comparison to other high profiles like MT3? I'm thinking of joining a future MG group buy these caps look fantastic.
MG is a slightly lower SA with MT3 like scoops. If you like SA but think it’s too high this probably isn’t it. If you like MT3 but think it’s too high, this could be good. If you’re just curious, Melgeek has some MG caps in stock atm.

Is no one going to mention the absolute BEAUTY that is this man's monitor setup?
How's the latency of these non-Logitech wireless keyboards nowadays?
Waiting to see how to optimize the q1 👍

if i remember correctly MG profile is based on Topre Hi-pro
I dont understand, is this thing hotswap. How did he have silver and then banana split switch??
It's hotswap but prebuilt, the only downside is it's not the easiest thing to take apart
yup this
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID!
Any chance do you have any additional comments on opening up the keyboard?
yeh, it's just releasing the clips around the board. I think there's 10 that go around it. But yeh, pretty tight to release :)
Cool, thanks.
Hey Tae! Please do a setup tour video :D
its not great haha. you basically see it in the video
When pledging them on kickstarter do we get the full keyboard or will we still have to get the switches?
I love this board, cool review. But can we make it thoky ?
Looks nice, but sounds a bit loud?
yep
What’s a good budget 60% hotswap kit in au dollar

If you would kindly answer a quick question...how easy is it to detach the stabilisers in this to lube? The case looks pretty difficult to open up

The graphics on the bottom of the board isn't real correct? That's just animation for the video?
149 USD is not bad. I can't even get those keycaps for this price in Germany
i wonder if it will turn yellow from time to time..
Coincidence how Melbourne starts to rain as I start to watch this
Really hard to find "non-budget" wireless mechanical keyboards. All the custom sets are wired. Are there other options in the same range as this one?
Is there a reason why I would pick this over RAMA KARA SEQ2 which is going for a similar price with similar aesthetic? Better keyboard at stock?
KARA doesn't come with keycaps, switches, and stabilisers. So I guess you have to factor that in with pricing.
Additionally, KARA is HHKB layout, while Mojo is 65%. So that's dependent on what you prefer :)
@@TaeKeyboards Thank you for the fast reply! Between the two if you didn't care about the layout, which do you prefer?
