I’m cool with Aqua being looked at as a wise master from now on along with maybe Terra. Not sure about the others. They’ll most likely help in the conflict for kh4. Don’t forget, the new chess game Xehanort and Eraqus are playing probably has 13 pieces of light, considering the 7 pieces of darkness. That means all the guardians of light will most likely return for kh4. I also suspect Aqua/Kairi will have a cool combo move similar to Terra/Riku in Re:Mind.
Congratulations on beating the game Sarah. I'm grateful that Kairi will now be trained under Master Aqua so she can get more experience to become stronger to which Yen Sid gladly agrees with. Looking forward to the next KH game after _Melody of Memory_ and who knows what is going to be about. I could see the next game be reminiscent to _Dream Drop Distance_ where it is centered on Riku and/or Kairi traversing through Quadratum and the various new Disney worlds looking for Sora. Hopefully, we get more news on the next KH game after MoM in 2021 next year and what's in store for Kingdom Hearts' 20th Anniversary in 2022.
Lets be honest,it was a stupid idea to make merlin train Kairi and Axel when he is just a wizard,he probably teached them strong magic spells but he doesn't have a keyblade.
I see Merlin's training as a good way to practice magic, but not necessarily a guide for using it in a combat situation. For example, in the first game he has Sora practice using magic on furniture. A good way to ensure that you know the basics of how to use magic on stationary and moving targets, but the furniture doesn't attack. Unfortunately, in the game the enemies we are fighting try not to make things that easy. I can see how Axel could teach her how to fight in general since he has more experience than her, but at that point he knows about as much about using a Keyblade as she does. Why couldn't Master Yen Sid have taught her some things in KH3 or at least let her travel with Sora so she could gain some experience? She is getting better now, certainly. I still think that training with Aqua is a good idea.
Nomura said there will be a couple more spin offs before we get to the next numbered installment. So I assume we won't catch up with Sora and Riku yet. Rather we will get a game detailing the others investigating the other side. Maybe we'll see what Terra, Ventus and Aqua were doing during ReMIND.
I just noticed that the BGM that plays while Riku and Kairi are talking to the Nameless Star has the same leitmotif as Yozora’s boss fight theme from Re+Mind.
"Is this leading to Kingdom Hearts IV?" NO! Nomura-san would not give such an interquel-like plot of finding Sora in a brave new realm the number treatment. We will get a few games to lead up to something major.
28:48 That he's not the real Xehanort, just the product of Kairi's memories. That's why he still gives her the answer. That’s some internal struggle she had to go through to get it.
She only trained one time under a wizard axel was treated worse than her.Terranort bodied him,he would have been dead if it wasn't for Sora,Xemnas destroyed his keyblade and then Sora and Kairi had to save Axel and the others when they were trapped by the replicas in the keyholes they created.

I read an article from an interview with Nomura stating that they have been hard at work making another KH title going as far back as January 2020, so my bet is that it is a new title that is not KH4.
Good to see I am in good company. Same here, I got into it when one of my friends introduced me to the series. Now my entire social group follows it. Granted, I only have a few friends, but still.
To point this out, Riku jumps from the "FINAL" world on to the a fictional world, which can also be said to be a "FANTASY" world and then Quadratum is Latin for "SQUARE" So, Final Fantasy and Square Enix.
I want the Kairi game, which I still believe we will get, to have her travel worlds of the New Seven Hearts. Maybe as part of Aqua's training. They can involve Frozen 2, the Tangled series, Moana, Brave and the new movie, Raya and the Last Dragon
This new footage featured in Melody of Memory had me feel the same way with 358/2 Days and Re:Coded when I first played those games years back. No matter how monotonous some of the older side games were in the past, they were still essential story-wise. Though it's rather enjoyable that Kairi now has more involvement than she did by standing on the sidelines leaving all the fighting to Sora and Riku. If there's any real romance between her and Sora, let it happen. WHY do you do this to us Nomura-sensei!?
I got so hyped whenever I finally beat this game for the first time today, sadly I didn’t get to beat Xehanort on Proud, even though that’s the kind of run I was doing, but the reveal was ANAZING and so was Kairi’s fight
One small detail I particularly like is that, since the actual gameplay uses the PS2-era character models, they actually made such models for the KHIII versions of Kairi and Sora.
Because Xehanort is the biggest trauma Kairi experienced. He's basically the one who slain her in Keyblade Graveyard and send her away from Radiant Garden in the first place.
I loved that game too. I would have preferred that it was longer and game us more worlds, perhaps retuning to the same one in a fashion similar to KH2, but that is just me.
I wonder if the world that Yen Sid was talking about, the one that the ancient keyblade masters went to is actually the Reckit Ralph world from Union Cross.
In the same way that Verum Rex is a video game in the KH Universe, it would seem that KH is a video game in the Verum Rex Universe. This is how reality and fiction joined-with storytellers. Square Enix being the canonical storytellers of Verum Rex in the KH world (see the Verum Rex adverts in Toy Box) and... what is Master of Masters is "the brilliant artist" who created the KH Universe as a game franchise in the Verum Rex Universe? In KHUX, they have been connected to Game Central Station after all... Maybe the Master of Masters's plan was to make a fixed script for the game, making sure that in spite of the players' decisions, it would reach a good ending... But he may not have anticipated for bugs and for the free will of its characters. Well, it's my two cents... It's going to be interesting!
I read an article that said the developer of Kingdom Hearts stated they have no plans to make a new title for Kingdom Hearts anytime soon. They stated they wanted to wait for more games to come out for the PS5 first before they do so I can speculate we will be waiting at least 2 to 3 years minimum maybe longer for another Kingdom Hearts entry perhaps Kingdom Hearts 4 who knows.
@@codywhite6337 It's a bad article based on iffy translations. All Nomura said is that there will be a break for KH news and that the next big thing is the anniversary in 2022. Nomura has already confirmed that aside from MoM and KHUX, there are also two other KH teams already making new games. So the "no plans to make a new title anytime soon" is just false. They're currently making them. There just won't be a new KH game in 2021.
Honestly I think the 60$ price was a little too much for my tastes. However I was still satisfied by the game. And I freakin LOVED the ending!!! So excited for the future of the franchise.

Okay I burst out laughing when THE VIDEO GAME PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT A FICTIONAL WORLD Like what? Nomura is gonna make an irl Kingdom Hearts to really mess with us? Also.. Fairy Godmother casually can travel to The Final World?! I personally think it's leading into some in-between game (much like how we have... many games that led to 3 after 2) BUT since this being more modern era of gaming i hope it's not AS many games...since they hopefully have a good plan..
Knowing something from Dream Drop Distance, the ball that appeared by the star. If you look to the first town in Dream Drop Distance, you meet a little girl named Rhyme that is the connection for Joshua to travel through worlds. With Rhyme's ability, she could go between dreams-- even reality in a way In conclusion, the Nameless Star is Rhyme
I am curious if in the course of my life I will ever experience how all three of them sit on the beach again and sit around pointless. Maybe at some point Mickey is looking for Pluto: Kingdom of the dogs hearts ... love it
Gotta be honest, I find that they had Sora literally replacing Kairi absolutely disgusting. If they wanted to show the connection between Sora and Kairi and that Kairi gets her strengh from Sora, they could of had an apperation appear behind her like when Micky was shooting that giant keyhole in KH re-mind DLC, but no, they literally robbed Kairi of a chance to develop as a charicter and face her fears head on And I'm not saying Kairi could beat Xehanort alone. In my scenario she is still relying on support from Sora, just in a much less disrespectful manner. I also think it's worth noting that while Sora did do most of the work, Kairi was able to put up a good fight in Re:mind against goat armour Xehanort, a foe stronger than any other seekers of darkness that the gaurdians of light struggled against. So she can definitely fight pretty well
I would've preferred her losing completely, than having Sora jump into her own head to save her. It just solidifies her own perception of herself as a damsel needing to be rescued. It's so degrading. Take Sora out of the equation so she can fully grapple with the consequences of being inadequate, and give her that extra push to really get better. It's when you hit your lowest point that you can be open to the greatest change. If she's always so confident that Sora will save her (like after Terranort and the demon tide killed everyone) then she'll never really fight thinking that everything is on the line. "Sora will save us I know he will." NO! Stop it! All Xehanort wanted to do was talk anyway. She was the one who insisted on fighting and ended up losing. Which btw, how she was losing is also pretty lame. Not only did they do the "grab her by the arm" thing again, she got one-shot by a deflection. She landed on the water floor and couldn't even bother to struggle to get up. Come on, give us some decent scene direction.
Just because it was shown that she can "keep up" in the armored xehanort fight in ReMind, doesn't mean she could do so in an actual fight one on one for all we know she could have just been healing and buffing Sora during the fight the occasional team finishers. As in this video she gets thrashed around by Xehanort very easily, and now that a small part of Sora has beaten Xehanort we know Soras above him, not saying Kairis weak, but in regards to the powerhouses of Xehanort and Sora she still has a very long time until catching up with the top dogs, which is why shes going to study under Aqua (someone that could mostly contend against those 2 mentioned).
40:58 Remember when we all thought after the epilogue of the first Kingdom Hearts would lead to Kingdom Hearts 2? Even the secret ending of the original and the extended secret ending in Final Mix made us think that? Then a couple years later we find out the original GBA version of Chain of Memories was gonna be the next game. But KH2 was announced sometime 2003.
Man I love KH so much, just wish sometimes that the story was a bit easier to follow xD Was hard to take the ending sequence seriously cause the words 'light', 'dark', 'key' and 'heart' are thrown around soooooo much that it feels like a meme.
First of all, I really appreciate you linking me the list for the copyrighted music. I skipped Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo during Birth by Sleep and I muted the 2 KH3 songs and didn't get a copyright, so thank you! I definitely enjoyed the game overall, but I was a little disappointed that most of the game was just a recap.
I can't wait to see what happens next ☺️
👍👍👍
Now, can you this game on a dance pad?
Well sarah probably could :)
Asking the true questions
Almost seems made for it
this is the most precious way to appreciate Yoko Shimomura
Nameless Star voice actor is Madison Davenport.
I like where this series is going. So they're gonna take the KH universe to the real world, which is ours... very interesting move, I like it.
26:00 THE POWER OF THE PAPOU FRUIT!
Makes sense, then we can keep up with what everyone else is doing.
I just noticed that the BGM that plays while Riku and Kairi are talking to the Nameless Star has the same leitmotif as Yozora’s boss fight theme from Re+Mind.
for the final fight they went with a full Kairi inside Sora.
you are so good at rhythm games! i couldn't even get past the demo levels lol
The ending is so brilliant with how it connects to verum rex and re mind
39:09 how can we not reconise the Yozura theme there, its the same notes as in the battle song and the losing cinematic
39:40 "Gotta take out that car key. Very important."
GET IN BITCHES, WE'RE GOING TO QUADRATUM.
"Is this leading to Kingdom Hearts IV?"
NO!
Kairi is forever training... she is like me and my Japanese studies lol
@@amiksa8789 Don't give up on your studies! Learning a language takes a lot of time, and by learning new words, you'll slowly be able to finally speak and understand Japanese!
I read an article from an interview with Nomura stating that they have been hard at work making another KH title going as far back as January 2020, so my bet is that it is a new title that is not KH4.
ansem as an among us impostor made me laugh way too hard thank you so much for that
I love seeing your reactions. Kingdom hearts is such an important series to me.
Good to see I am in good company. Same here, I got into it when one of my friends introduced me to the series. Now my entire social group follows it. Granted, I only have a few friends, but still.
To point this out, Riku jumps from the "FINAL" world on to the a fictional world, which can also be said to be a "FANTASY" world and then Quadratum is Latin for "SQUARE"
So, Final Fantasy and Square Enix.
Kairi being trained by the Keyblade master that cast a magic spell on her necklace when Kairi was a child.
Interesting how things come full circle.
Ah yes! I've been waiting for your reaction glad you made it to the end 🙂
The strong Bromance I see between Riku and Mickey isn't that bad to me anymore
Sarah I love your love for kingdom hearts so much. U get us fans! 🙏🏾 can u tell that terra is my favorite character since bbs first release. 😊 lol
I got so hyped whenever I finally beat this game for the first time today, sadly I didn’t get to beat Xehanort on Proud, even though that’s the kind of run I was doing, but the reveal was ANAZING and so was Kairi’s fight
One small detail I particularly like is that, since the actual gameplay uses the PS2-era character models, they actually made such models for the KHIII versions of Kairi and Sora.
trauma comes in many forms so why not xehanort be that for Kairi's inner heart
Because Xehanort is the biggest trauma Kairi experienced. He's basically the one who slain her in Keyblade Graveyard and send her away from Radiant Garden in the first place.
@@axceljulio5747 I agree
I love KH3 too it was nevertheless well made.
I loved that game too. I would have preferred that it was longer and game us more worlds, perhaps retuning to the same one in a fashion similar to KH2, but that is just me.
I wonder if the world that Yen Sid was talking about, the one that the ancient keyblade masters went to is actually the Reckit Ralph world from Union Cross.
dream portal= ddd2 with riku going to Shibuya and kairi going to the Disney worlds
It is a beutiful game we have to admit
Now we have to wait for the next Kingdom Hearts game
I read an article that said the developer of Kingdom Hearts stated they have no plans to make a new title for Kingdom Hearts anytime soon. They stated they wanted to wait for more games to come out for the PS5 first before they do so I can speculate we will be waiting at least 2 to 3 years minimum maybe longer for another Kingdom Hearts entry perhaps Kingdom Hearts 4 who knows.
@@codywhite6337 which article did u read that on?
@@saxenart www.thegamer.com/kingdom-hearts-4-new-game-ps5-xbox-next-gen-not-happening/
"I have to finish training."
"I'm in a world where I can train as long as I need to."
So...bullshit.
Honestly I think the 60$ price was a little too much for my tastes. However I was still satisfied by the game. And I freakin LOVED the ending!!! So excited for the future of the franchise.
👍👍👍
Who cares what difficulty played on as long as you like the game and beat it
Someone played on beginner...🌚 didn’t you kurt?
Lol jk you’re right as long as you enjoyed the game that’s all that matters i played it on proud and full chained all levels(but the Final boss of course)
Christopher Lloyd is back as Xehanort again 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The instant jaw drop when you see the kingdom key is everything 😂
Mainly trying to figure out how the Ancient Masters/the mobile game lore connects with Quadratum/Verum Rex lore and how they all connect with the Master of Masters
i think it would be "Kingdom Hearts : Verum Rex"
I honestly was glad Kairi said Hey Yed sid i'm gonna leave my trainig under merlin to train under Master Aqua(aka for Arrow fans Thea Queen) and as Sarah said "Two queens" 😏😏😏 she probably didn't realize how right she is.
You pulled your inner butter buns during toy story lol
23:04 you can say that again. This was an absolute troll moment.
This game was amazing I loved it😀
Okay I burst out laughing when THE VIDEO GAME PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT A FICTIONAL WORLD
Like what? Nomura is gonna make an irl Kingdom Hearts to really mess with us?
Also.. Fairy Godmother casually can travel to The Final World?!
I personally think it's leading into some in-between game (much like how we have... many games that led to 3 after 2) BUT since this being more modern era of gaming i hope it's not AS many games...since they hopefully have a good plan..
Alas my copy has still yet to arrive (hopeful for today? Maybe) so I will do as before and wait until I can see your reaction. Enjoy it everyone!
Congratulations on beating the game sarah you are the best! beautiful and talented!
Knowing something from Dream Drop Distance, the ball that appeared by the star. If you look to the first town in Dream Drop Distance, you meet a little girl named Rhyme that is the connection for Joshua to travel through worlds.
With Rhyme's ability, she could go between dreams-- even reality in a way
In conclusion, the Nameless Star is Rhyme
I am curious if in the course of my life I will ever experience how all three of them sit on the beach again and sit around pointless.
Maybe at some point Mickey is looking for Pluto: Kingdom of the dogs hearts ... love it
Gotta be honest, I find that they had Sora literally replacing Kairi absolutely disgusting. If they wanted to show the connection between Sora and Kairi and that Kairi gets her strengh from Sora, they could of had an apperation appear behind her like when Micky was shooting that giant keyhole in KH re-mind DLC, but no, they literally robbed Kairi of a chance to develop as a charicter and face her fears head on
And I'm not saying Kairi could beat Xehanort alone. So she can definitely fight pretty well
I see it more as her taking on Sora's appearance than Sora replacing her.
Yeah it's terrible how they did that. Just letting Kairi use Kingdom Key would've been enough.
Come on, give us some decent scene direction.
she can't take him on though... how is she gonna fight him? You are giving her too much credit.

Remember when we all thought after the epilogue of the first Kingdom Hearts would lead to Kingdom Hearts 2? Even the secret ending of the original and the extended secret ending in Final Mix made us think that? Then a couple years later we find out the original GBA version of Chain of Memories was gonna be the next game. But KH2 was announced sometime 2003.
I really enjoyed your video SarahKey
HOT DAMN KAIRI GOT SOME MOVES
As a non kingdom hearts player, as soon as they mentioned the other side (and then fiction,) I thought of our reality or something like it.
Say it with me sarah!! SPELLWEAVER KAIRI!!
Still, I think it was all worth it in the end since we got lots of new information and it actually made me really emotional as well. If anyone want to see my reaction to the Kingdom Hearts 3 sections and the ending for Melody of Memory, check out the link below! ruclips.net/video/fu7BYBy_B7o/видео.html
i honestly think that the voices or stars in the final world are the dandylions and that tht girl they were talking to is marluxia´s sister
Most likely will lead to Dream Drop Distance 2
awesome. we need more of that. it was a great game.
So they talk with a Star (STELLA in Italian) in the FINAL world and Riku will go go Quadratum = Square
Damn Nomura
Wait a second.... Ansem the Wise mentioned that the "other side" must be a "fictional world." I guess that explains why the Verum Rex trailer where we saw Quadratum, Yozora, his friends, and that girl was displayed on a TV in Toy Box. Because a TV is where we watch and experience all kinds of fictional worlds and stories
I love the Kingdom Hearts Series so much! This is awesome!
I wanted riku and Kairi to hug the entire time I'm sad
Same
It sure beats reading the summary from the other games
Good job my friend
