I think its great that you made a followup video and also talked about where you may have made a mistake. They are a small company selling a company 100 percent made in the usa. But I woud also suggest you ditch the hitch extender. Those few inches are putting so much more force on the rack then it would otherwise. I bet without that hitch extender the rack wouldn't have dumped to the ground regardless of whether it was fully in the lock position.
This is because it's a Cogswell Cog and not a spacly space sprocket. 😅 I'm just joking with ya. It's nice that the company stands behind there product and sent you a replacement. Hey we all make mistakes. We learn from them and move on.
It's not a design flaw. The issue is that the metal is stiff and doesn't always move easily. So if you don't double check you could have it outside a locked position but think its locked because it doesnt move easily. But that stiff metal is what makes it near bulletproof and built like a tank.
I have the same dual racks with ramp. Glad to hear about the great customer service from QuikrStuff!

Looks similar to my 1up rack. Good to see that QUIKR took care of you.
It’s a really nice looking rack. I love the way it folds up

What adapter is that that you have to position your rack lower? How do you keep it from rattling in the receiver on your truck?
Saw the other video....I still think it is a design flaw.....
