Whoahh! Looks like a totally hidden gem?!?! Never heard of this, shocked this is my first time seeing this. Looks like excelent play mechanics, sophisticated 2d fighter, nice animations and background... totally putting this into my que. THANK YOU !!
Konami made this? Well upon a closer look it does have the art style of Metamorphic Force they made. Another one of those hidden gems that went unnoticed for years
Tsugumi must be the character I've been looking for since 1995, last seen on a poster when I passed by an arcade at a back alley in Hong Kong. Her look and weapon stood out but I was never able to trace the game.
Played this game and couldn't believe Komami even did a fighting game in the first place! And even a good one! Not many videos out there on this game let alone a Tsugumi playthrough. No wonder many even haven't seen this before, now I am seeing. And Tsugumi is like my favorite fighter in this game. Always played as her. That's why I tried to look for her gameplay video. Maybe it's the only full playthrough right now uploaded on youtube besides some of her combo videos
Once again excellent brilliant better times better days truly just a great time to enjoy life it's also a shame that Konami won't release these games on you know any current hardware cause it looks so tight has so much potential keep the good times alive man don't stop keep it rolling keep it coming 👊👍
Oh yeah! THIS game. I _always_ forget this game, which is so stupid on my part because - even though, in a lot of ways, it's them just doing their best SNK/Samurai Shodown impression - I know it's probably Konami's best fighter. It's either this or TMNT Tournament Fighters, probably.
Hey first time commenting on your videos but thank you very much for what you do. Seriously sometimes yours are the only gameplay videos I can find of these games.
I didn't notice this the first time you played Dragoon Might with Layla, but now I find it very curious how some stages have three different time versions [morning, evening and night] while others don't. I guess they had to save some memory at some point or something.
A six button Samurai Shodown weapon-style fighting game by Konami. I don't have an issue with it, except Konami tends to gate their gems. This is, perhaps, the third fighting game I only know of from this company (Kensei: Sacred Fist being the first fighting game I knew of). This game looks good and a contender for pestering Konami to release to the US consoles/steam but I wouldn't hold my breath. I still have a disdain for this company for what they did to the Metal Gear franchise. Even so, this game looks fantastic and I appreciate you uploading the game. Stay grinding, Cooley. #ShoNuff
While I'd disagree most with the background art, I will say that for 95' this was pretty decent sprite work. The animations could have used some more frames. Other than that...not bad at all.
Honestly the animation is not as fluid as what I'd expect from a 95 arcade title. In fact the graphics in general are not much more than what I'd expect to see on the SNES. It looks fun but the graphics are not too impressive for the time honestly.
MAME should be declared an Unesco World Heritage. What has been done to preserve cultural assets is unprecedented.
Who is that?

I used to Martial Champions *constantly* in the arcade. That's another great arcade weapons-based fighter Konami made a bit before this one.
Also the game looks like it was adapted from an 80s anime fighter cuz this fg seriously had the vibes of 80s anime to be honest
The levels are beautiful and made with imagination.
Truly inspired game.

TMNT Tournament Fighters (SNES) was made by Konami btw
Try Martial Champion! It may feel a bit unrefined, but looks very cool!
7:00 "Stewardess! Now there's TWO gremlins on the wing!"
Lots of forgotten sword 2d fighters from the 90s, only Samurai Shodown and Last Blade are remembered today.

Tsugumi 🔥🔥🔥🔥
that ending was so wholesome

Remember when Konami used to make awesome games?
I never forgot Yamato the legendary Konami Hero
Zack's weapon is definitely inspired by the Dragon Slayer from Berserk xD
Классная игра
Joah was clearly an inspiration of Roah from Fist of the North Star
今宵も完璧デゴザル😊
Never seen this before. Looks cool.
Why did my stupid brain thought this was fighting game spin-off for Legends of Dragoon?, my god i'm so dumb.🤦♀️
So I'm guessing this would be Yie-Ar Kungfu 3 (while Martial Champion is Yie-Ar Kungfu 2).
Tsugumi ⛩️
Zack Stage looks like the andean place of Ancient Chavin ... look at those "Cabezas Clavas".

It's too bad this isn't on the Nintendo switch. 😭
This can be considered as Konami's take on Kizuna Encounter.
More like Savage Reign dude
@@Justin_0241 LOL
Never seen this one.
今宵も正しく究極デス😊
ever fight is clutch
効果音がCAPCOMのヴァンパイアと一緒…?
Someone should suggest Justin Wong to play this hidden gem

This on arcade archives
What was her wish?
Konami is sitting on a gold mine of ups and yet all they want to do is pachinko smfh
A Konami made fighting game that isn't tournament fighters... Hmmm? Kinda gives SNK vibes

Shrine maiden rules

コナミの汚点にしか見えん。キャラ作りもシステムも。
プロゴルファーはいかんよね
