- The Genesis was getting a bit hot on the last track day... also spraying oil all over my engine bay ahahah, so today we took care of the cooling and oil issue on the Genesis as well as gave the trailer its first mod!

On friday i bought myself a pickup truck on saturday morning i was in an accident and rolled it 3 rounds in the ditch. Totaled my car and insurance wont do anything with it. But im lucky to be alive and its nice to watch your videos whilst im at home and recovering. Keep up the good work! Love the videos

Just use a shim on everyone of the trailer lights on one side so it tilts the light but its still hidden

If you are worried about coolant temps, you should also look into a cooler thermostat for it. And if you cant find one you can also drill a couple very small holes in the plate of the thermostat to allow it to flow a bit more before it opens.

You could make a small wooden wedge that’s at a small angle, screw them to the bottom of the trailer the. Mount the lights there so that the lights are angle outwards of the trailer and lowers it a little do beam past the trailer lip.

Add also has a bracket for the catch cans that mounts on the front of the engine and holds two catch cans. If you need manuals or write ups on the gen coupe look up snoopys bookshelf he did a lot of research for our cars, and the gen coupe forum has a lot of stuff too.

You should get like 4 inch pieces of 2x4 wood blocks and screw it to the bottom of the trailer and put your lights to that

I have a slight suggestion Robbie, get some LED reverse lights for the truck, i had some on a gmc sierra and they were at least 25%-45% of the brightness of the headlights. Maybe get a sponsor? 🤔

Put a light bar or pods facing backwards on the truck as your reverse lights. Trust me, best mod ever

I have a similar thing for my laptop, it always over heats so I have a software that I can set the fan to spin faster and sooner.
how bout just changeing the thermal paste and dusting the cooler?
@@lukasstadler6594 the fan is nice and clean, and its still under warranty so changing the thermal paste would void that.
@@Nathaaaaaniel yeah and? warranty is there to be broken. :D (in theory using a fan control software voids a warranty (like oc software) but no manufacturer ever cares about that)
(but if its still fairly new ok i get it :D)

Bigger intercooler and radiator should definitely help the heat soak issues but I'm sure all of that is coming eventually
Buy led reverse lights they’re absolute game changer, mine are as bright as my headlights and I can see past my 25’ open deck trailer
The stock intercooler heat soaks really quick. Time to upgrade it especially if your going to be drifting it.

Make sure there is a baffle in that valve cover behind the filter, otherwise it’s gonna fling out. I doubt u had that much blow-by. That much oil doesn’t even sleep through a 55 Oldsmobile.

Hey Robbie I don't know about that intake location you'll have to be extremely careful when theres rain out if you get a large splash of water sucked in that intake it can hydrolock your motor!

Are you putting premium (93) gas? On Genesis you can run either reg. Or 93. On my bk1 I gain an extra 25hp with premium(93)

just put the lights on the trailer beams, because then it doesnt catch the beam, and youi see it way better
I don’t know if this helps but the light on the trailer that is in the wheel well didn’t look like it was helping much so maybe putting it somewhere else would be better
can’t polish textured reason why they didn’t get those but the reflection is A1. almost as good as i would do :)

need to install a bypass valve or at the very least a filter wrap to prevent water from getting into the intake..
Being that it’s mainly a drift car and he more than likely won’t drift in the rain, it’ll be fine. Even for regular street cars they’re fine through a little water. You just don’t want them sitting in a puddle sucking water.

zerializing DUDE! I was totally looking for this comment again LOL! Well, I didn’t think he was gonna fucking go full send in rain AND puddles. And to be fair, he said he forgot he moved it also. I also have a CAI that sits that low and I daily drive in the rain and snow with no problems. I also have a bumper on and aren’t going full send through puddles, lol.
