Some ten years ago I had the pleasure to see a performance of Riverdance, "Lord of the Dance" here in the Netherlands.
An evening never to forget!🤗👏👌
Worldrecord tapping in 1 second is from Michael Flatley, 33 taps in 1 second. Have been 3 times to Lord of the Dance, first time Michael Flatley was there as well
Michael Flatley is the creator of Lord of the Dance
His record has since been beaten by yet another Irish dancer..
That sequence always stands out to me every time I see it. It’s such a beautiful representation of clashing cultures and the mixing of cultures that becomes something amazing.
I'm not a big fan of Michael Flatley but I adore Colin Dunne, the chemistry he had with Jean Butler was unparralled. I had the pleassure to watch their live performance back in the days and it still is one of my most cherished theater memories.
Colin was the better One❤
Absolutely. Michael was a fantastic showman and unbelievably talented, but Colin was something else. He was there for the art, not the adulation.
LOVE this bit. The whole Riverdance performance is amazing, but this segment is SO cool.
I was hoping you'd watch this one.
To me this video means, whoever you are, where you come from or what you look like and how differently we do things. The result is the same. I loved your reaction.
This is impossible to follow,
perfect dance steps.
AMAZING 💕
That is a fun and wonderful part of the show. One of my favourites. 😊
Fantastic... What incredible athletes and dancers!
Colin Dunne is a BEAST
The GOAT
I was fortunate enough to see this exact dance battle in concert .... been to River Dance and Lord of the Dance ...... fantastic!!!! These people are so talented!!
Amazing! Thank you! ☮I can do every ballroom dance out there, but would never have the coordination needed for tap dancing. ☺ Absolutely wonderful!
Who is the dancer that runs up the wall then manages to jump so high over the other dancers head then does the splits! Wow!
Saw the one and only Michael Flatley live in Feet off flames. So beatifull. Glad that I saw it ones in my life 😍
I saw it at that theatre in NYC that year. Could have been that show.
That is without a doubt one of the most insanely brilliant thing I've ever seen.
You need to watch the Russian dervish and slip into spring! Both amazing numbers
Michael was all know in our europe. He traveled arowned the world with his traditional dance. For us in Europe is not new but i am glad you find it. ❤
I'm glad you are enjoying riverdance, they are still going.
You need to see Gregory Hines perform.
I love your smile.
I really enjoyed that even with a broke ankle
Beautiful 🙏☘️♥️🇮🇪
it be the tap version of dancin on pointe so his shoes has flexible soles and that be how he dances so fluidly on his tip toes like that
Is that Mark Knofler there.
Just as an fyi, it's a soprano sax.
Reaction mv " Cô Đơn Không Muốn Về Nhà " by mr Siro part 2 mv " Một Bước Yêu Vạn Dặm Đau"
Hope the guy who said this is white folks stuff sees this.
I LOVE THIS!!!! (But don’t pat other dancers on the head…that’s demeaning)
IRISH dancer James Devine is a World Record Holder for the "fastest feet in the world", with an astonishing 38 taps per second. Working with five-time World Champion Irish Dancer David Geaney from Dingle, County Kerry, Devine from Ardnacrusha, County Clare, has created a 1916 tribute dance video, called 'Velocity'.
