I've been making fleece beanie hats to give to charities for kids and adults - some are going to homeless shelters. This hat looks perfect with the flaps. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your video and the pattern. I have downloaded it and will measure my head to make sure it's big enough (I have a huge noggin). I will be making these toboggans this winter.
Thank you for the free pattern. I just got back from taking many of these hats to our local fire station to be given to kids and teenagers for Christmas.
All fabric is folded when you purchase it. Simply place the pattern on the fold where it says place on fold and pin it. Cut around the pattern and you are done. I hope this helps. Sorry I didn't show it on the video.
I would have to rework the pattern for that. You could try enlarging it on a copy machine. Otherwise I would have to rework it for you and I don't really have the time to do that at the moment.
Thank you! I’m going to make on that looks like Craig’s from South Park 🥰
Hope you like it!
haha we’re doing the same thing
Thanks Diana.

Love this hat. You wouldn't happen to also have this in baby and child sizes?
I don't. but you can just down size the pattern to get what you need.
Superb fantastic 👌✋🙌👍👍😍 ☺️ for your making this cap 😄
Thank you so much 😀
So gonna do this👍....thanks so much!😀😀😀

Thank you.
Could I use cotton fabric? Thanks for sharing
I am not to sure that cotton would work well because it does not stretch. I like fleece because it has stretch to it.
You can actually buy cotton fleece too, and this does have stretch in the width (not in the length,)
Question! If I don’t have a sewing machine can I hand stitch?
Yes but it will not be as sturdy.
How do you get your measurements for the hats !
There is a pattern link in the comments section under see more. But I just measured my head.
I wish you would show us how to cut the pattern and how to put it together. Also, how to put it on the fold

How do you make different sizes from this pattern?
I think you can just bring the pattern to your local copy store and reduce or enlarge it.
Can you please explain me how to get pattern for head of 60 cm ?
I would have to rework the pattern for that. You could try enlarging it on a copy machine. Otherwise I would have to rework it for you and I don't really have the time to do that at the moment.
Where is the pattern to download and print?
Here it is. sewverycrafty.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Flap-Hat-Pattern.pdf
