My mother passed away 8 months ago. She had a seven year addiction to opioids and lymphedema. She finally lost the battle after being in my care for about 10 years. Watching her decline was the hardest experience of my life and 8 months later the pain of her passing is still as fresh as the day it happened. This song really got me through the hardest part. I remember screaming it with tears streaming down my face. Truly powerful art.
Im sorry you lost your mum. I watched my mum for years struggle with meth and heroin. Last thing I said to her was she was a bad mother before she ODed on christmas 2 years ago and it was the biggest regret of my life now that I understand mental health struggling with it myself. I hope you find your peace within yourself 💛.

My question is why the bloody hell Dream State and Architects haven't toured together yet both bands are really... i don't even know what words to use to explain it, tearing up the scene just doesn't justify it or sum it up This album has been on replay since it got released, and honestly... it has got me thinking a lot, and the 42 mins are nothing but a very real bumpy and emotional ride 42 mins walks past you like a dragrace! Is there anything such as putting too much love, soul, blood, sweat and tears into your work? This exceeds Recovery more than i had imagined. It is too similar to Architects, as in, they put out a even better record and make you think they cannot possibly outdo themselves this time. Until they raise the bar so high you just don't know what to think or expect. A failsafe recipe i assume?

It gets easier with time but It takes a while.. time does heal wounds but it's slow. I still find myself lost, wrenching a decade later.
