My mates been a professional vehicle wrapper Gaz for years now, he had do training for a month before he was even allowed near a car. Well done for having a go, it's not easy at all
Matt black is a pain especially for a new wrapper if you over heat or over stretch you will get gloss areas and wrap will show all imperfections. It requires as much prep as paint to get a good finish

@@ProjectMan and you mate 😊 ,you already had decided to do that after all ,good move ,if you can order a bit of satin black paint your dad might let you use his little spray gun ,if you ask him nicely !😀👍and you could just use some thinners to get rid of the rubbish touch up paint,nail varnish whatever it was 👍
Tricky old job that rapping, seen people spraying soapy water on before laying it on but omg getting around those contours super tricky that was a very odd shape to start with. Looked pretty good to be fair the wrapping didn't let it down 👍

Not a good idea to start with mat black for your first go it's not very forgiving and notice every scratch. With a shiny wrap it's not any easier but it would look a wee bit better and build you're confidence in wrapping👍good vid and soon you'll be wrapping everything in sight🐦🏴
gary you should try paint hydrodiping some time a container of water all the different bright colours of spray paint just spray loads into the water then dip the item into it let it dry then clear coat it you be amazed at the finish you can get some mad colour schemes to it

Yep, wrapping properly is really hard. Especially a Matt wrap where too much rubbing shines it up a bit.

You need proper automotive vinyl wrap, that’s why you struggled, the proper stuff is slightly thicker than cling film and stretches far easier.
