- 2012 Volskwagen Jetta GLI Autobahn edition is a lot to say and there is a lot to this car. The main question is.. is it worth it? Today I want to talk to you about the features of this car and my opinion since I've owned this vehicle over the last 12 months.
2014 VW GLI. 173k. Love this car. Very few parts break. Mostly solenoids. OBDeleven scanner with pro ver needed for ownership. Upgraded bilstein b4 shocks. 034 Motorsport engine/trans mount. 034 Motorsport aluminum dogbone insert. Unitronic stage 1 ECU/TCU tune. 260 hp/300 tq. Walnut blasted intake at 150k with new Bosch fuel injectors. Gets 25 mpg city and 40-45 mpg highway with tune at high mileage. Would suggest Tuxmat custom molded front/rear floor mats. Great car all around. Fun to drive. Easy to fix. Invest in a tune after 60k miles.

Definitely said unleaded 91, lol. But I just picked up my 17' 6speed a month ago and it's awesome! My gas tank door says 87 or 91-93 for max performance. I do 93 only tho. Idk where everyone gets under 25 mpg. I'm in jax fl and I drive this thing pretty mild and still get 34 mpg. Anyway, nice review and awesome car

Wow, that's a good deal you got here in California I seen one for $15,000 with 50k mileage that one was a 2013 GLI Autobahn

In CT I can get one with 108k miles for $6800 2012 model
i started putting premium fuel into my 2013 gli and went from 290 miles per full tank to 395 miles per full tank and im still shocked
I got the frost autobahn gli and its my fave.
If you have one, buy the red coils that come in the r8’s. Not expensive. I never put less than premium in mine. I think you get good bang for buck with a gli.

Which coil packs and plugs did you use ?
Had the car for a year but no mods? Wack all I’m saying is a turbo spacer and a resonator delete with a performance muffler are a nice and simple mod that change the experience entirely

Yes it's worth it. Besides decent performance in a sedan I get 53 mpg on the highway (imperial gallon). I have a 2017 with 210 hp 6 sp. Man.

How has it been treating you so far? Im looking at a 2013 gli autobahn but it has just under a 100k miles though. Trying to figure ouwhat i'm looking at as far as maintenance goes🤔
