Sam kickass video. I have a fleet of 5 traxxas trucks and my fav are the Rustler, Maxx and Xmaxx. Cool to see someone with these same trucks and run them like you do. You inspire me to keep rolling on with my RC hobby. Thanks alot! Keep em coming. You make excellent vids!!!
You should upgrade the Transmitter & Reciever to the Dumbo RC Transmitter and Reciever the response is absolutely night and day from the Traxxas and they seem to get almost twice the distance I feel with new Reciever & Transmitter Have it setup on my Rustler 2wd !! Absolutely love it !! Find it on Amazon for $67 delivered to my door both reciever and Transmitter!!!
Thanks for sharing my friend. My hun just got me the same Xmaxx same one she got it for me for Valentine’s Day oh yeah!! Ha And I just subbed to ur channel nice video 👌🏻👏🏼from Denver Colorado
Also if looking for another really really strong metal servo that's cheap but absolutely indestructible then go with the JX EcoBoost!! $50 average price but just compared to a $100 it's still way better just a crazy good Servo it's one my next upgrade running a Miuenzi Servo 20kg right now $20 -->$25.98 Delivered to my door and 10x better then the stock servo in the Rustler 2wd love it also the 2075 is a great upgrade as well
You definitely got some great air skill. Again a great video. Some pretty nice Ramps and RC's. Xmaxx my favourite (love mine) were unsure between orange and the green but got the green one in the and still orange looks amazing. You definitely get a thumb up and a abo 😁
Is the x-max harder to get it to rotate compared to the smaller cars? I can't pull off a backflip the times I have tried and wrecked my canopy by landing hard on the tail gate. Maybe the jumps I have tried on are not big enough to give enough hang time compared to yours
This was great content. Love the jumping. I was looking at the Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL or the Maxx. Do you have a preference? I had heard the Maxx being a bigger has some traction roll where the Rustler stay grounded better. Thanks in advance for any information
Thank you. Yeah, they all have their tipping point. Also things to do to help the Maxx turn better. I lowered mine. Stiffer shock oil helps. And there's the Wide Maxx kit, it's longer suspension arms. As far as the Maxx versus the Rustler 4x4 goes, the Maxx is a lot more truck. Best handling Traxxas truck in the air imo...
Thanks for the response and good information. With handling between them is the Rustler that much better and easier to control or with the upgrade the Maxx become very similar?
@@christophermroz2128 The Maxx handles uneven terrain better due to it's size. For instance, it's easier to hold my line in the grass approaching a jump. It's bigger & heavier & more stable. The Rustler is more sensitive on the steering. The Rustler is a great stadium or dirt track truck. The Maxx tipping over is overblown on RUclips. Compared to what? The Xmaxx will tip over too if you turn it too sharp at high speed. Now, if you want the Maxx to drift on blacktop, you'll have to get the Wide Maxx kit. I think it's a less than $100 upgrade, maybe $80ish. I would recommend the Maxx if you can afford it...
I'm running 46T spur/20T pinion. I do that for the wheel speed for backflips. It will overheat with hard track running, tall grass or sand. I mostly run in short grass doing jumps, no problem. I'm not running hard continuous when filming either...
The Maxx does very well on grass. It's the perfect size imo. Buy the Xmaxx for the wow factor. Buy the Maxx for the best all around handling, on the ground and in the air...
If have any questions or want to check out really good reviews on stuff check Kevin Talbot out and I'm starting a channel Road Rage RC !! CHECK EM BOTH OUT LOL !!
I agree with you 100. And I'm definitely not in that camp, it's why I built my ramp set. No skill in launching them as far as you can and picking up the pieces. Hitting my landing ramp takes a much higher skill set. Softer landing too...
Omg great jump 😍
I'm happy you appreciate that. Thank you! 😎👍
Nice work all round! So good to see someone having fun and using his vehicles to the “maxx”, without destroying his gear! Keep it up!
Thank you!
Finally someone who built a landing!
Nice runs, beautiful property my friend. Very peaceful
Fun stuff - wish you were my neighbor.
Nice Maxx and lovely peaceful place to live
Great jumps mate !
Man I never realize how big the x-maxx is until it's next to something else. That thing is a beast! Great video, impressive jump control skills
Thank you!

Big thumbs up at 2:20 with the rustler drop 😆 👍
😃 Thanks!

Nice!! So good to see a big ramp with a down ramp, no horrible chassis slap.
😎 I love how it lands on the catch ramp...
@@chilly7261 is it a stock X maxx? I'm seriously considering one but just can't make up my mind.
@@lukenukem1164 I've changed the gears to 20T pinion, 46T spur gear. All stock electronics...

👍Thank you
dude that editing is sick!
Thank you. The editing is 75% of the time it takes to make a good video. I appreciate you noticed that...

Awesome! Great truck!
you're really good at this!
Thank you! I love the challenge of landing on a catch ramp versus just sending it and replacing parts...

Awesome vid my RC friend 👍 SUBBED loving the XMAXX
Thank you very much...
2:02 I'm going to practice that move! That was nice..... never seen that!!
Thanks. Just trying something different, keep it interesting...
Nice bashing session 👍
Omg i like the 3 rc car is so cool bro wow

Yes and no. It's wheel/tire weight to overall weight. And wheel speed is a factor. Even a lighter truck with small wheels/tires won't rotate well...

Hey sorry to bother, but do you mind me asking what xmaxx gears you’re using in this video. Thanks

Amazing!!!! What angle is your launch ramp?
Thanks. 45 degrees
Carnt decide between xmax and maxx is the maxx still good on grass?

Very nice! Any thoughts of adding the new Hoss to the lineup to have all the Traxxas trucks?
👍Thank you. Mmmn, not really...
Question? So what is the best go Pro for the Xmaxx to mount on when your jumping or on your head? I was considering getting a go Pro
I have the Hero 7 Black. It has the Wide & Super Wide lens, but also what they call Linear. FOV is like a regular SLR camera.
Sub for sure 👍 amazing setup and comparison
