Never been to Bermuda, nor do I think I'll afford it in the near future, but I love the island and was curious so searched Bermudian. You came up first and I'm so glad. Love the quality content. About to subscribe to both channels, and know that the work you be putting in doesn't go unnoticed
I don’t even know what to say. Thank you so much for the kind words! Never had any expectations for this channel besides killing time during the lockdown but comments like this make it more than worth the effort! Thanks again for watching
Great to see a new video! 👍 I was actually thinking that the next video in your chanel was taking longer than usual. The explanation for the delay makes sense. Hopefully you will find the motivation to create new content, we like it! I presume that you live close to the bus stop in the video, which is on my way to work (or to go anywhere) so I will pay attention in case I see you there! 😉 I fully agree on the Scootermart ads comment...!! 😂😂
The fire is returning!! The other struggle is that without a dedicated recording space i’m constantly fiddling with equipment then putting things together then breaking them down. So i’m experimenting with some different setups. I don’t think it worked out that great this time but i’m working on it! And yeah I live across the street but I hardly ever catch the bus (evidence in the video) so don’t waste time looking for me there 🤣
Nice to see you back! Your videos really helped me transition here (Bermuda) from St. Lucia. I ended up staying close to Shelly Bay when I first came in March and I was excited because I remembered the video you did walking through the railway trail there. I am living in Paget now and still considering getting a scooter however would definitely need to take some lessons first lol. Thank you so Much for what you do. Two of my friends recently moved here too and guess whose videos they've been watching for information? 😊
Dear Smyle Therapy, I am a nurse in Africa looking to migrate. Please would you kindly connect me to nurses currently practicing in Bermuda as I seek first hand information regarding nursing practice in Bermuda.
@@ladylydia3416 Hello Lydia, as soon as I get in contact with one I will let you know. I am a Dental Hygienist so I have so far met health professionals in my field. Not much of a social butterfly however will keep on the look out for you for sure
My wife and I rented scooters for the whole day. Was a blast. We’re from the U.S. had to remember to stay to the left:) we also made a video on our channel of the trip to always remember the fun times.
Exactly Mr Omar - my previous comment video - a will apply to this one too👌👍That ice cream place - it’s next to public bus stop and the entrance of crystal cave - very expensive ice cream - Why - Why - not telling you the inside sea food place -
Respect my guy...this is Riddy. This is my second (and I guess main) account....so I've subscribed so I don't miss anything. Great to see that you're back..and you're doing god's work! Continue to be an ambassador for our little island ✌
Glad to see you back Omar! I was wondering what had become of you. I'm glad you were motivated to come back. I lived in Bermuda for 5 years, and I have to come back there again in the near future. I'll be in Hamilton Parish, so maybe I'll run into you on The Trail!
thanks a ton! And definitely hope to see you on the trail! Just forgive me if I'm not paying attention. I am not a gifted runner but I've been trying to improve and it's rough lol
Nice to see you back Omar ! So. After the 100k question you answered in that video - I am here to work in Bermuda ! About to get accommodation and looking for a used car as soon as I get the license done. In the meantime, a couple days on the bus for me .....
Hello Shaun, please, kindly connect me with a nurse currently practicing in Bermuda. I am a nurse in Africa looking to migrate and would appreciate first hand information about nursing practice in Bermuda.
Hello Omar, great videos, I intend to Visit in the near Future and Id like to do lots of stuff and see as much as possible within 1 or 2 weeks. and also maybe go out for a Drink or night out so maybe you’d know what the best think to do is for a night out, and how to prioritise a list of stuff to see and do. maybe you already have a video on that? cheers and all the best. from Scotland, UK 🏴🇬🇧
Hey bud! Best night to head out is definitely friday but alot depends on when you are coming. If you have a rough estimate or at least the month, I may be able to give more info.
Hello Omar! I'll be relocating to Bermuda soon and your videos so far have been really helpful in getting a sense of the place. Would you be able to talk about some items we should definitely bring with us as they might be expensive to purchase on the island? Do we really need to carry any kind of heavy winter clothing for those windy days? Looking forward to your response. Have a good day!
Hey! Glad you finding the channel useful! I’ll probly do a quick video to answer your question since I get it alot. But for the jacket….doesn’t need to be heavy, but you want something that is water and rain resistant. Look at helly hensen’s weatherproof rain jackets for an idea of what people wear in Bermuda during the winter months. Those are expensive but very popular here although you can definitely find cheaper alternatives…it’s a good start!
Hey Omar, I do enjoy you RUclips channel and I find it to be informative. What is your option on a Registered Nurse moving from Jamaica to Bermuda do you think this is a good option?
I can’t say what the experience is like but there are plenty expat nurses here and BHB always looking for more. So I guess something is attracting them here…i’m sure the money is good
I visited a few weeks ago via a cruise and experienced some of the craziness using the bus. I feel for the locals because sometimes they don't know when they are getting home after work. It's a shame.
Funny story. I came across your channel because I was looking for hotels in midtown NYC because I will be there in July to prepare for a cruise to...guess where? You guessed it! Bermuda! However, in that "Even Hotels" video, you mentioned that you were going to Ghana and I have family there. So I went down a rabbit hole of watching your other videos before I could get to the Ghana videos but I WILL most definitely watch the 🇬🇭 videos. Q1- That little golfcart car thingy...I think Twizzy? Is it available near the cruise port? Q2- can you tell me which beach you flew the drone over in your last images? I'm bringing my drone in July and want to get great beach images. Less populated beaches are better...
Haha. Great story! Welcome to the channel! Q1- yes, there is an oleander cycles in dockyard about 100 yards from your ship. They also rent the twizzy’s but I’d definitely try to book ahead of time if you can. Q2- wasn’t my footage but those are the beaches along south road. It’s a strip of road several miles long that provided access to a bunch of beaches
I’d say book a taxi if funds aren’t a problem. You can haggle a flat tour rate where they include crystal caves. Getting there yourselves is possible on public transportation but it’ll take over an hour each way
I say this as someone without kids so…hopefully someone else can add their input. But if low cost is desired I think you wanna stick with public transport. Bus and ferries will get you to all the major spots, and the occasional taxi can fill the gaps. Taxi prices aren’t that bad
Is it jus me but I find this funny. The purpose of tomorrow's meeting is to discuss ways to reduce cancellation and boost the service levels but yet they will take out the bus service from 10am to 1pm that day???

What is the night life like? what is the music scene like? is there rock and roll? is there any jazz?
Hi. Night life is limited but there are few gems. There are no big clubs anymore. Also, I can't say there's much in the way of rock or jazz.

Hi, brother you are doing great videos. Make a video on how to get work permit visa, please...,😊

How are the sidewalks and roads? Can a person with a power wheelchair get around easily in the Naval Dockyard area?

Can stand up escooters and ebikes be used on the ol' train walking trails? What are stand up escooter and ebike laws there?
They can but wouldn’t recommend it unless they have offroad tires
@OmarJames easily done. Thanks for the reply
