- In today's video I finally wallpaper my dull bedroom and despite winter is coming I'll feel surrounded by birds and leaf full trees all way through. The wallpaper is super feminine, happy and wholesome and it was kindly sent to me by Rebel Walls. The name of it is: CHINOISERIE CHIC

I think the bed cover and pillows take attention away from and compete with the beautiful wallpaper. Green would be perfect like a grassy field. Hope you find the perfect shade soon. @@EliseBuch

Don't let go of the vintage throw, just repurpose it in the living room, it'll be lovely and cosy to snuggle up on the couch in when the winter nights draw in. The tapestry pillows are great with the wall paper.
You could use it in other ways as a throw, or make cushions, and a wall hanging, add appliqué to it and make fabric art! Use it for pillows to contrast colours on the bed! Make chair cushions for comfortable seating! It’s otherwise beautiful as an extra blanket!
The wallpaper is gorgeous! Maybe white or cream pillow cases and comforter with the vintage comforter folded at the bottom of the bed?
First! I love the new wallpaper! I love the colors and the birds! Yes I will be wanting the post cards! They are beautiful! You are blooming from a gorgeous Rose, into an even more Gorgeous field of wild flowers! It’s lovely to watch! You make me feel young again! Now there isn’t anything wrong with feeling older! It’s wonderful also, it’s a very different kind of confidence, but it’s so wonderful to remember that feeling of being young and starting on a new life changing adventure, of blossoming into even more than just the one thing we thought we were! I am not a fan of wallpaper generally but this is absolutely exquisite! The gorgeous floral design on a white background is utterly gorgeous and warms the whole room with no loss of brightness. Stunning.

I absolutely love how the wallpaper turned out! With the pink curtains, the cozy light is stunning. I don’t think the floral patterns compete too much (but it may be different in person). A lot of really vintage bedrooms had a lot of different patterns. I just thing it makes it look really vintage :) You did a great job hanging the wallpaper!! I wish my landlord would let me hang some.

It's going to be such an ethereal place to wake up every morning. You are cultivating such a BEAUTIFUL intimate space. My absolute favorite thing about thrifting is the way found objects coalesce and become friends with the space over time. Love the postcards and the wallpaper. Both projects turned out so well. If you can't find the right shade of green for your bedding, why not consider white? It's fresh and can be bleached. It will also act as a neutral and make your bedroom look huge. Your home now has the look of being lived in and is very cozy.
I was thinking a soft pink or pink and white pinstripe.
If you really like that 3 panel mirror, you could always use a brass rub-n-buff on the black portion. The rub-n-buffs work great 😉
Your bedroom looks beautiful Elise! Can’t wait to see what bedspread you purchase in what shade of green. I think a sage green would be really pretty. A bit lighter than the green in your wallpaper. We know you will find the perfect green. So exciting. Love your postcards sweetie. Oh, you could sand the black around the mirror a bit and paint it a green or rose color to make the color pop from your wall paper. Very pretty mirror.

My take on the bedcovers… leave the greens and pinks and go a bit muted, light blues and yellow: a creamy lemon yellow.

The wallpaper is just beautiful! I am used to seeing the wallpaper glue go on the back of the paper. Being able to "paint" it onto the wall first is so much easier and less messy, especially for a do-it-yourself project. Great job, Elise!
Having a beautiful colored wallpaper works always so well! You can pick one or two colors main colors from your wallpaper and use them in your interior. Love it! Looks so beautiful!

That was amazing Elise! Most people wouldn’t know how to do what you’ve done, and would probably get the builders to do it. Also many if not most people would have been put off by the setbacks you’ve had and would have given up. Well done for sticking to it and doing such a smooth, professional looking job 👏 It will be the best feeling when the painting is done and you can do all the pretty, creative things you are so good at. ❤
You can keep the floral blanket, but maybe you could fold it at the bottom of the bed as an accent, on top of a new green background, then maybe spread the pillows around as well with a maybe only one or two on the bed?

Went to Instagram and hearted a bunch of videos I hadn’t seen. Funny though, I had seen the coat one. Love your mural wallpaper. My late husband loved our bedroom to be feminine. He said it was like sneaking into a girl’s bedroom and he loved it. A real man can handle a home with a true woman’s touch.
The mirror was gorgeous. I would have brought it home. Black can actually work as designers say that every space should have one black thing in it. Worse case, you can paint it. You’re quite good at that.

Wow, my mom always told me to put the paste on the paper and let it sit for 10 mins then put it up. It was a sticky mess. I never knew you could just paste the wall. Great tip. Pretty paper. I like your choice.
Love the wallpaper. As a young mother years ago, I wallpaperd my kitchen when I lived near the Ocean. It was a beautiful blue. I loved it. It's hard work but I did a pretty good job. Your cards came out beautiful. I love the flower garden the best. Your bedroom looks wonderful. Good job!.

Love the wallpaper it’s beautiful. I think a cute green duvet cover is perfect. White sheets will still look good. The one pillow matches the wallpaper perfectly and doesn’t compete. It goes well together.

I've never liked wall paper simply because of its repetitive pattern. But th8s wallpaper is completely different. This gives the illusion of sleeping in a garden. Now that I can live with. So beautiful. ❤❤

Elise, love the wallpaper. Love that it was made to measure, like a mural. All the lengths made with cutting lines. Fantastic! So you. The dressing table mirror….couldn’t you paint some gold paint on top of the black to age it? Or apply gold leaf to the black. It will stick and then brush off here and there. Make it look vintage. What a beautiful idea of your art work paintings. So pretty and to use for messages in parcels. So lovely.
