I was on Allure of the Sea in June. It was just like Oasis. I too loved the bacon in the Windjammer and the fresh pineapple! Delish! Enjoyed Johnny Rocket’s as well! Best burger I had in a long time. The food was very good in the specialty restaurants as well in the main dining room. We went to Coco Cay, Cozumel and Nassau. My favorite show was Mama Mia….utterly FANTASTIC!!! Great cruise !! Thanks for you reviews and keeping us up to date as to what is happening in cruise land!!
I did this ship back in March. Honestly, the #1 thing that attracted me to it was a documentary the Food Network did back in 2009 when this ship was brand new, and at that time it was the largest ship in their entire fleet. In the documentary, they said that Thursday night in the MDR is **LOBSTER NIGHT**. Well, being a total lobster fanatic, that sold me right there. I can't even describe all the wonderful food I encountered that week on the Oasis. Even much of the food at the Windjammer was super good. I did myself a favor and booked the Chef's Table when I made my reservation. Met the coolest people, and we had the most sensational food imaginable. 150 Central Park was incredible as well. After I ordered my food, my waitress encouraged me to try a different entree in addition to what I had ordered. Once I thought I'd had enough, my waitress was still eager to shovel food my way, so I "grudgingly" ordered an additional Lobster Thermadore (oh hurt me). I was so stuffed that evening, I had to go sit on a park bench out in the park for an hour. I could write a book about the food I had on this cruise, so I won't bother anyone with the rest of the details, except one more: As far as the food adventure went, my game plan was to have breakfast at the Windjammer, then after that, a pre-lunch slice of pizza at Sorrento's, then back to the Windjammer for lunch, then after coming back from excursion or (or exercise if we were at sea that day) or out playing with other passengers or whatever, I would head over to the entrance doors of the MDR and check the menu to see if anything appealed to me. If it did, then the MDR was a go (unless I had reserved a nicer restaurant) then back to the Windjammer to select some pre-dinner eats. After that, go for a run, play in the pool and relax, hang out at the casino, etc. and then scramble to the MDR for my 8pm dinner reservation where I would gorge myself once more... Then off to karaoke and drinks with friends. I was bummed I didn't get to see any shows, what with the 8pm dinner reservation, but my main goal was to experience as much good, exquisite food as my little 160 lb frame (closer to 170 lbs post-cruise) could handle. With the Oasis, I say "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED." I'm just thankful I wasn't on this ship a few weeks earlier when everyone was puking. Lol
Oasis holds a special place in my heart. We were aboard her in 2016. On the 2nd day I hit a jackpot for $22,500!! Playing max bet, $1.50, on a slot near the cashier.
It all looked good! Thank you for sharing. I like the vlogs that show the food and thanks for the tips on what to order @ each place. The roast beef sandwich looked fantastic!
We just did a b2b on Oasis from Feb 23- March 8 and loved it. So much to do and see. The Aqua show was amazing and the food in the MDR was great. My wife had escargots every night and both my kids had their favorite starter. We'd definitely do Oasis again.
I love BACON!!! Also, gotta try that roast beef sandwich when I do our mother/daughter cruise with my sweet Naomi - only one year away! I really appreciate your Oasis vlogs and the food video was great quality...nicely done and thanks for sharing!
I enjoy watching the "Tony" cruise ship diet! We can tell you love your food. Plus, you have great taste! That lamb at Chopped Grill looked spectacular!
thank you for the solarium cafe tip for less crowds... the basic french toast and sausages looked perfect...was it real maple syrup though ? I'll find out soon enough. Im on Oasis early Dec 19... still undecided about my free included specialty restaurant
Both my wife and I were wondering about food options such as burgers etc. You did a great job explaining options and giving us an idea on what to expect at windjammer buffet etc. great video thank you 😊
Thank you for mentioning the breakfast in the MDR. I think you may be the ONLY vloggers to have ever mentioned this, let alone actually vlogging the breakfast there.
Just got off the oasis last Sunday. We loved Giovanni‘s table but we’re less than impressed with chops. To me the entire meal was under seasoned. This is the first cruise where we didn’t eat in the main dining room for dinner at all, and I missed it. We did have lunch in the main dining room on the sea days. The menu is limited but everything we tried was good
Hi enjoyed the video very detailed thank you. my girlfriend and I we're having a girl trip on the oasis this December... I was wondering if I should get the meal package
We sail on Oasis in March. Hope the ship is super clean! Ha. We may not get off in Nassau. Enjoying the ship seems like a fun thing to do with most getting off the ship.
We went on a disney cruise (mine and my kids first, not my husbands) the food options were terrible. The food also tasted very bland. I left feeling like cruises just werent for us. My husband convinced me to look into oasis and I'm blown away. We've decided that this will be the next cruise we try. I cant wait. It all looks delicious!
One question, relate to the dinners, normally you can take it in the buffet or at the dinning room. Now I now you can reserve some especiality restaurant, this restaurants replaces the normal dinner you have normally or do they have an additional cost. Thanks, sailing next Jan 2020 :-)
Yes the buffet the main dining room are included. The specialty usually has and additional charge. The exception on the Oasis was the Solarium Bistro it was included. - Tony
Love 150 Central Park they don’t have the salts anymore. When you go next time try the solarium bistro for dinner it’s now free you have to make reservation, there’s a buffet fir appetizer & dessert but you luck entree from the menu. Playmakers replaced Sabor if you like s’mores get the campfire s’mores it is the best!!!!! If you like coconut try the coconut mojito at Boleros it is the best drink on ship and it’s the only bar to get it in. I want one lol
Just finished watching your videos on the Oasis of the Seas, even though we haven't cruised on any another line but Celebrity, this ship looks like a fun ship! Thanks for taking us along with you 😊🍁
That Solarium Bistro concept "appetizer/dessert buffet - order your entre off the menu" is very common at all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. I am a fan, I can't get enough olives and cheese!!
I loved Oasis and had a roast beef sandwich almost every day from Park Cafe! Yum! 😋 new fan here from Toronto, great videos, and great personalities, will be following your cruises! 😎
Tony, you mentioned that Jenny's shake at Johnny Rockets was included with her drink package. We are sailing next week on Allure of the Seas (4th cruise on an Oasis Class Ship) but we never purchased a drink package before. We bought the Refreshment Package this time, but did not know shakes were included. Was it because of the cabin you had or some other special perk or just because of the drink package? Did Jenny have to buy the food there to get the shake or could she just walk in and order one through her drink package?
Gidday Tony, I know you just sailed Royal Caribbean, if you ever get a chance try the Black Pepper Bacon in Chops Grille. It is to die for :-) Further..... Tony we are going to Cozumel in April 2019 and whilst we have been there before we have never been to Margaritaville.... would you recommend it for a lunch and how far is it from the cruise terminal?
Everything looked so delicious, so I've gotta wonder, why didn't you grab breakfast the last morning before you disembarked? After all, "You paid your money!"
Thanks alot Tony... Here I am sitting here eating a microwave corn dog and Fritos.... And you guys are eating like Royalty! Lol....when is your next group cruise? I think we should have a corndog eating challenge! Let’s see who can slam down the most c-dogs!
Love your videos but most videos lack one feature! My Diet in theory Religious - no uncooked alcohol, avoid all alcohol at home Food Reactions - gluten, wheat, rye, malt, barley, soy, chicken eggs, dairy, artificial sugar except aspartame Inhalants - Lysol spray, some perfumes and aerosol sprays Personal - attempting to reduce and eliminate animal products (still eat meat) Dental - no more tough meat and jawbreakers Where are the vegan foods? Halal, Kosher, and other religious diets? What is gluten free? Do I have to pack two suitcases of vegan, gluten free or whatever items I need. Do staff grasp what you say to them? What about cross contamination? We with limited diets are about 25% of the population. I used to do food reviews and always discussed special diets.
No lobster on a cruise before? I have had surf and turf in main dining room on every Carnival cruise I have done. It’s always on one of the two cruise elegant nights. I find it’s usually my first one. That’s why I book Steakhouse 1st night so I won’t miss lobster and prime rib. Now it’s two different meals but I just have them but the lobster tail on my prime rib plate. Plus 1st night at Steakhouse is a free bottle of wine ( not the best but still FREE).
All of it looked amazing! Supposed to be sailing on the Oasis in Feb if all goes well! Just curious, how much was your bill to eat at 150? Thanks for the video!
Ps sorry to be a pest but next time you go in an Oasis ship you must try the mdr for lunch it is the best kept secret. It’s only on sea days usually closes before 130 you can order off the menu but the buffet is excellent and they have a huge huge dessert bar the last day is the best! Ok I’ll shut up now can you tell I am missing cruising lol
Yum, except for the cantaloupe! LOL! I wish I liked it, but I don’t. I would have loved the roast beef sandwich and pizza! You can’t ever go wrong with pizza! Thanks for the awesome video!
Bro I still haven't seen any fried chicken! Yeah that pizza place looks good and I like the setup..Also digging the ice cream shop..Definitely a step up from Carnival..10k subs!!1 Killing it..Good stuff!
The servers at most of the included restaurants will shovel food at you. Even the specialty dining venues will suggest you have one or two of EVERYTHING, if that answers your question. If all you want to do is eat your weight in food at every meal, they make it easy for you. :-)
For lobster night, why did waiter tell you that you wouldn’t get much lobster? You can get as many lobster tails as you want. Some folks on Allure ate 6 tails or more!
The pizza was probably the best I had while on the oasis. I was expecting the food to be a lot better than it was. Breakfast in the main dining room was absolutely terrible and choices was very limited. We had to go to Johnny Rockets to get a halfway decent breakfast. The hotdog place was ok but not to die for. Dinner also wasn’t as good. After hearing ppl talk about how much better the food would be on a Royal Caribbean cruise I really had my expectations high. I was let down big time. To compare, the food that I’ve had on my two carnival cruise was way better. (Oasis was only my 3rd cruise) Honestly there wasn’t much that I liked about my experience with Royal Caribbean. And I was in the cruise earlier this month where ppl was getting sick and that wasn’t even the bad part for me. Like I said I was expecting a better experience going on the Oasis of the seas but Royal Caribbean fell short big time. I may try Royal Caribbean again in the future but as of now I’m sticking with carnival.

Lots of great food! That puff pastry you had on the second night at the Windjammer looks like Yorkshire Pudding.
I don’t normally enjoy after the fact cruise food videos but this was excellent. Really informative. Thank you!
Great review, Tony! Your voice was not as loud..very soothing!
Can’t wait to go on this cruise ship 🚢
Honey that Escargot is a must-try for me. I definitely will give it a try when I go on the Carnival Liberty in late April
I enjoy watching the "Tony" cruise ship diet! We can tell you love your food. Plus, you have great taste! That lamb at Chopped Grill looked spectacular!
Forgot to ask. We were able to eat at Port Side BBQ that was part of the redesign and loved it.
thank you for the solarium cafe tip for less crowds... the basic french toast and sausages looked perfect...was it real maple syrup though ? I'll find out soon enough. Im on Oasis early Dec 19... still undecided about my free included specialty restaurant
I love the polish or chicken sausage with caramelized onions at the dog house YUM! I skip the bun and it's my low carb go to anytime their open snack.
Tony, great video!! But, now I am starving!! Entrees look delicious!!
Perfect video to watch during my lunch hour ! Thank you !
That roast beef sandwich looked amazing!
Wow Tony what delicious looking food. That ship should be renamed "Restaurant of the Seas. Take care.
Both my wife and I were wondering about food options such as burgers etc. You did a great job explaining options and giving us an idea on what to expect at windjammer buffet etc. great video thank you 😊
Quick Tips there were burgers and dog each day. Good buffet!
So happy to see spreadable butter....Princess serves cold cold butter cubes that are unspreadable

Not sure if you know this, but you can order Escargot every night in the MDR, even if not on the menu. I order it with dinner every night.
Thx Tony. Now where can I have access to all of this when I am at home watching all those yummy food!
That pizza looked a notch above carnival. I've never tried any of the pay restaurants.. I'll have to try on my next cruise.. nice video Tony
Hi enjoyed the video very detailed thank you. my girlfriend and I we're having a girl trip on the oasis this December... I was wondering if I should get the meal package
Wow most all of that looked really delicious! Question... Did y’all enjoy your Central Park balcony or would you have preferred a sea view balcony?
so good thing you were not on the oasis this week :) are you guys sailing on the 16th already ?
Ya timing is everything. We aren’t sailing again until next month. Seaside on the Feb 16th. - Tony

Tony. Looking at the French toast and link sausage dish was that maple. Sweet syrup on the plate as well ??????

Thanks for the kind words and reminding me that I was late to the roast beef game. Man that sandwich was good. - Tony
Looking amazing. Def an upgrade from Carnival
Can you try multiple entrees in the specialty restaurants?
Lillian Allen normally not, you usually get a app, entree, and dessert. - Tony
Yummy the little café and the pizza were my favorite!
Can’t wait to get on the Oasis and try the tap water and the chewed gum stuck under the tables. I hear they’re both pretty good.
Lol. #goals - Tony
That rack of lamb though! Ohhhh myyyy that looked gooood
Was ELOCO FRESH not there is there a sugar beach ?
Would you say the food on Royal is better than Carnival?

Thanks for the video. Love all your videos. Question; did you make your reservation for Sabor prior to your cruise?
Was that a British Yorkshire pudding with your strip steak from the buffet?
I think so. I haven’t seen this in a couple years .
Food looks so much better than another video I saw about Carnival which was really unappetizing

Favorite breakfast place? I want to try Johnny rockets
We loved the ship it was great but wait for the Bliss just saying lol 😂 they have 24 hr restaurant n bar
