I've been getting a few questions on how I made my "Work hard, play nice, be kind" sign, so I decided to make a quick video on it! :)

I am lame! When I make signs like this, I usually just use Word & play with the settings in the Print menu...if you choose "Multiple", you can choose how many sheets it will print on. I will give your method a try because...goodness knows I have MORE printing and signs to make!! I love learning new tech savvy ways to do things. Also, add to your future shopping list a printer with tanks for ink. I live in Myanmar & our tech guy advised me to get one. I have literally printed over 12 reams of paper (much of it chalkboard decor) & have only had to refill the black ink once. He said you can sometimes find the tanks to go on a printer that takes cartridges too. Saves me so much money & time!! You will be a great teacher. Have a blessed first year!

Thanks so much for the Info! You made it easy to follow. Since you helped me, here is a tip. Make a trip to the library with A LOT Of change! When you have something to print that takes a lot of ink it will save your printer!

there is one sign I do not see on google images but my 2nd grade class had it. it was yellow and it had the words ''DID YOU KNOW?'' in trains?/schoolbusses? if anyone knows what I mean or has seen it before, please send me the picture. thnx

have you ever made a sign with a boarder? I did one today and didn't even think about the watermark... the watermark was inside the boarder :( Thanks so the info!

I made the sign with the border first & saved it.
Then I went back on picmonkey, opened up a blank canvas, and put my poster with the border as an overlay (the butterfly button)
Then I made it big enough to where there'd be enough space for the watermark to not interfere with my poster when I used blockposter
I hope this makes sense
You should give us a tour around the school you're teaching at :)

I don’t remember what font this was, but I now use BBdabombdotcom and it’s pretty similar 😊

Thanks for this tutorial! I used part of your method, but instead of using Picmonkey (just bc I don't have the $ for that rt now due to other classroom spending) i just typed what I wanted in Word as WordArt-then I snapped a screenshot and saved it as .jpeg and then I used blockbusters.com to print them in the size I wanted :)
Picmonkey is free! you only have to pay $32 for a whole year if you want to use the premium features which honestly, aren't amazing! :)
but I'm glad you found a way that works for you :)
Harmony Abee I tried to do it like you did but when I went to block posters, the print out was wavy. Wasn't crisp at all. Did you have the same problem?
I have only printed a large 'hello' and I didn't print in color. I used colored paper and my word had a thin outline so maybe that's why mine didn't print wavy. I would stick with PicMonkey as That One Happy Classroom suggested.
