This is a great EDC item as well. Paired with a Knipex Cobra XS, Knipex pliers wrench XS and a small pair of scissors this has replaced my multitool. A bit heavier and a bit bigger, but not really more noticeable in a backpack but so much more capabilities and if something breaks (wich is highly unlikely) replacing just one part is much more economical!
Be aware that due to small size, the internal ratcheting toggle in some of these items is powdered metal rather than forged, making them rather weak. Instead I have used 1/4" hex bits with a box end 1/4"wrench for anything requiring a high break loose force.
Or use a bihex ratchet ring spanner? RRS can also double up as a...spanner. Some new tools are novel though and worth a look see.
Great review. I bought the Wera Tool Bit Plus which has that ratchet, a variety of bits and a screwdriver handle too. I’m very happy with it. Wera make quality tools.
How good is the retaining spring? Have you come across a scenario where the bit came off of the ratchet, ie it got stuck onto the bolt or screw? Been looking for a mini ratchet that can reliably hold onto the bits and not fall out like the junk ones.
Apparently the cog on the rear of the tool is for turning manually in even tinier spaces.

Wera are quality tools, as far as my experience goes. I have the 1/2 and the 1/4 ratchets. Really enjoy them. Did you consider using a bit with a boxed wrench ? It can get frustrating not having the right tools:))
