To use an LS9 cam in an LS1 you would need to get an LS2 front cover with a cam sensor extension harness (LS1 has cam sensor in the back). It’s not that expensive to buy an LS1 specific cam kit

If you are gonna run a bunch of boost you dont do it on an aluminum block.. youll send a rod through the side in no time. A 5.3 lq1, the truck enfine. Will handle boost without grenading. Its an iron block with aluminum heads.

Some of the combos he gives very well could actually have serious interference issues or be completely specked wrong. Mix matching bullshit online and not doing any kind of math at all. Some of these poor people actually listen to him.
Gotta use adapter plates to use the lsa blower with cathedral heads. But all this can be done to 5.3/4.8 iron blocks they can be bored to stock ls1 spec(would sonic test first though). Spdc has some cams better then the ls9 wont lose as much bottom end for $275 vs the $400 of most other places

That starter kit 100% does not include all the parts. Probably just the blower at that. Plus tools, labor, knowledge? Heads-cam-intake and maybe a tune would be more viable

Lsa wont fit cathedral heads. You have to run adapters for rec port. Better to run a lq4 or lq9 with ls3 heads with the lsa blower.

Second and third third coyote V8s still easier to get a hold of and build cheaply, downside is that it’s in the car made for crowd control
