      Document continuous monitoring of vital signs and escalation required on NEWS2 chart, verbalise what actions you would take and continue with the assessment. This is accepted

    Hello good morning, I just want to ask some school of taught said you shouldn't let the patient know when you are reading respirations but I can see you inform your patient is that acceptable in osce .

      Hi, in osce either you can inform the patient that you are checking respiration so that the assessor would know what you are doing or you check pulse rate and RR together for 2 mins and then you inform the patient thatyou checked it.
      As long as you check RR and PR each for 1 full minute it is fine

    Nice vedio. Well explained. You used mask, is it because of pneumonia? If you can increase the volume while recording that would be more helpful. Thank you mam. Please upload more videos.

      Thank you Bindhu. I know the volume is a problem. Will consider that next time.
      Mask was worn because of the hospital policy not because the scenario is pneumonia

    Why you checking respiration and pulse manually if you can see that on machine?is it recommended to do like this

    • @educaregloballimited3599
      @educaregloballimited3599  Год назад +1

      You need to count the respiratory rate and pulse rate manually for one full minute

    Hi on implementation for case pneumonia oxygen saturation 94-98% prescribed and device n flow rate mentioned we only document if oxygen is on right ?? n in documentation we write date , mentioned time on exam and oxygen litre per minute but no sign yes .
    If oxygen saturation is 94-98% but oxygen is stopped no need to document yes . Please reply as I watch all ur videos n they r very informative so I have subscribed your channel so please reply as I am confuse

      If patient is on oxygen, first check whether the patient is having the prescribed flow rate and device and after that document the date, time, flow rate and device.
      If not on oxygen, no need of any documentation

      Hi, even if the total NEWS is 3 or 4 but patient scores 3 in single parameter the monitoring frequency is 1 hour.
