When I see Alan Rickman I just can't keep smiling unconsiously. He is so adorable and yes Snow cake is absolutely one of my most favorite movies. I love how he treats Linda sincerely and understands her.
I love his response to the "rolling around" question. "We both had it in our contracts: the sheets have to be (raises hands) up to here." Good-natured dry humor is in short supply in this biz. :) Love his wit.
ROFL - He looked kinda awkward after saying "It came to me in the letterbox - SPLAT" And giggled to himself, and then suddenly put on his serious face at 0.47min as if "oh - she's not laughing". LOVE HIM!! Sooo cute!
He points out realities of acting in this interview that I had never noticed before. I'm just in high school theatre but listening to him talking about the work and rehearsals and challenging yourself with other actors and difficult roles makes me realize that those things are present in every role and performance you take. I admire him as an actor. He's so amazing. Also I envy his training and education in this field. He went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts AND he was trained in Shakespeare. What can't he do?
