For all you millennials and Gen Zees, a "Producer" was a small slip of paper that a police officer used to issue to you when performing a traffic stop, usually because they felt something was off about you or your credentials (or just to be a pain in the ass). A "Producer" was an order for you to attend your local police station and "produce" your driving license and vehicle documents, namely your insurance and MOT certificates and sometimes your registration document. This was back in the days when the police did not have the capacity to do on-the-spot vehicle/identity checks. Things moved so slowly back then so that even if you were on a short list of the most wanted criminals, the police wouldn't find that out until you had produced the requested documentation (which you obviously would not).
in sw hampshire/ Bournemouth Poole those were known as “ 5 Day Wonders “ ..because if you didn’t produce the documents within 5 days of the issue ,the Hampshire or Dorset Police would come round to the address they’d got from your number plate .I’m prob as old as you then - being an old white farm boy i always wondered what “ producer “ was all about so thanks . His death does sound bloody outrageous ( as they say in Hampshire) - after all , isn’t it generally only nutcases who’ve done something hideous whom do themselves in before getting arrested? His poor family & friends & community. the “ wonder “ referred to how the owner of the bike or motor was wondering how he or she was going to get away with not having one of the necessary credentials come the 5th day ….😂👍

What's the lyrics about they are wrong. Rip bastards ending up ending your life then covered it all up . Makes me hate old Bill more . Respect smiley culture x
Cause back then they weren't focus on lyrics like we are now. As long as it's catchy and melodic its all good unless you clearly said something like "f**#"
@@musicalmelodies3595 you’re right - mainstream chart music isn’t very interesting nowadays. Some of the words which are blanked from everything had me wondering if old songs like “ ode to Billy Joe “ would even be played nowadays purely because of its subject matter being suicide. I I wonder if they only stomped on Musical Youths’ song because they figured their song would appeal to kids …👍
@@PeWeeHermanUK You ought to maybe question how during a drugs raid the police let him go into his kitchen to make a cup of tea and then claimed he stabbed himself to death. Zero action against the cops.

Justice for Smiley Culture.
He provided his own justice to himself.

He died during a police raid on his home. By stabbing himself to death. Yeah, right.
