Looks great!! At first I thought you were using Romabio Limewash paint - what is the difference between limewash and Venetian Glaze? And are multiple coats or sealant coat required for Venetian glaze on an interior stone like a fireplace?
Venetian Glaze is stronger and more durable than Classico Limewash and will last longer on exterior stone; Classico Limewash is easier to distress and comes in lighter colors while Venetian Glaze comes in light and dark colors. For interior fireplaces, they both work well and Venetian Glaze will have less chalking. If you want to add extra protection to either product, we recommend Mineral Shield as a topcoat. 🙂
Love this! I don’t want the stone to look transparent color. Will mixing 50/50 with water create a more opaque finish? I have this product but just don’t know how to truly mix!
Will this product work on manufactured stone? The house is new with gray siding and the stone looks yellow. We tried the Classico Limewash tinted to SW Dove Gray but it lasted less than a couple months. 😢 Will this product last and what color do you recommend to turn yellow stone to gray stone? Thank you
@@kellypensol6862 is your stone absorbent? If it is you can apply Venetian Glaze to your stone to color shift your stone. If it is not you would need to apply 1 coat of MicroGrip Primer before applying a coating of your choice. If MicroGrip Primer is used we recommend using Masonry Flat because only total opaque coverage will be possible. We are unable to provide color advice but if you email info@romabio.com you name and full mailing address we will send a paint chip brochure in the mail so you can see our Curated Colors in person. 🙂
What if i put mineral shield on then later on want a different shade? Do i have to scrub the mineral shield off or can i just layer it on top of the mineral shield?
Venetian Glaze, or any of our other mineral paints, cannot be applied over top Mineral Shield. You would need to wait for the Mineral Shield to wear off or attempt to remove it before applying additional products.
Venetian Glaze can be custom tinted to any color at your local independent Romabio retailer, Venetian Glaze will color shift your brick or stone to whatever color you have it tinted to. 🙂

Would this work on a stone fireplace that has been sealed with varnish?
You would need to use 1 coat of MicroGrip Primer, if MicroGrip Primer is used you would only be able to achieve total opaque coverage.
how does this hold up to power washing and cleaning the stone after?
We do not recommend power washing as it can damage the finish, email us at info@romabio.com for more in-depth care instructions. 🙂

I have exterior stone that is all light and I want to color some of the stones to look "rusty." Will something like this work?
Can you email us some inspo pictures to info@romabio.com? That will help us make the best recommendations possible. 🙂
Ed, my garage door and trim is tan.. could a guy pull this off using a tan color paint as opposed to white? Still diluting the way you did

Which color is this? Is it the Bianca white or nube grey? Thank you
This project was completed using Venetian Glaze in Feather. 🙂
Can you apply this with a sprayer?
Venetian Glaze must be applied to stone or brick using a masonry brush. 🙂
How much did you use for this project?
One 2.5 Liter of Venetian Glaze tinted to Feather diluted 300% was used for this project. 🙂
How long does it last?
The length of time that the finish will last depends on a variety of factors including environmental elements, exposure and application process.
@@romabio what is the range: the least amount of time it lasts to the longest it could last? Thanks!
It depends, there isn't a true range. To elongate the time between touchups we recommend applying Mineral Shield. 🙂
Did you use a white Venetian Glaze? Or a tinted color?
This project was completed using Venetian Glaze tinted to Romabio's Feather. 🙂
I’m trying to choose a color to order and I looked at Feather(22) and it looks a little green. Is that the color you used for this project?
