And a new angle on his historic steal against Detroit and dime to DJ for the win. Notice how Bird just nonchalantly drops into his defensive position with out a crotch grabbing celebration. Isiah also adds some great insight. ruclips.net/video/eU4GI_rFD6w/видео.html

2017 & 2018 warriors was very weird I'm not sure why you think otherwise 😂😂 Kevin & curry choked a 3-1 lead and before that both of them had a losing record against Lebron. LeBron left a bad team to a better team in Miami to compete for a chip. The 1st unanimous league MVP Steph Curry was on a 73-9 win team but choked in 2016. Kevin Durant Left a Championship caliber team to join a top 5 player, defensive player Draymond, possibly the 3rd best 3pt shooter in Klay Thompson Etc. 4 hofers just to beat Lebron JAMES.

LeBron is a lethal defender, period. It's something that gets overlooked so much in his game, everyone focuses on his offensive game but he can guard 1-5 1on1 block centers when face up not just chasedown blocks, he snags steals or intercepts passes like crazy, hes a great defender. And yes 5 Brons would beat 5 of anyone else.

The “finals record” argument is dumb.
It is in fact better to make the Finals than to not make it. Getting 2nd place is still better than getting 10th place.
Is Steve Kerrs 5-0 finals record more impressive than Magic Johnson’s 5-4 finals record?
Is Javale McGees 3-0 finals record more impressive than Hakeem Olajuwons 2-1 finals record?

I think a lot (most?) of the LeBron hate comes from his handling of "The Decision" when he left Cleveland for Miami. The whole thing just left a very bad impression on a lot of people. Turning it into a televised spectacle seemed colossally arrogant, and made his free agent decision feel like twisting a knife in the back of Ohio basketball fans that had rooted for him for many years.

The recent uptick in Lebron hate comes from his speaking out on subjects he was not educated on such as siding with China over free speech, the "you're next" tweet over an incident he was misinformed about, ect. He threw himself right into political firepit without any research or a good publicist apparently.
I personally don't fault him for that stuff. He seems to always have his heart in the right place, just ignorant to the facts he speaks on sometimes, but it's not like he's trying to cause harm. His intent is good. The hate for me started when Lebron threw Pierce to the floor because PP was putting up his 4th 45+ point game against Lebron pre "Big 3" era.
As far as on the court goes....it probably started with "the decision", creating the super team era, leaving his hometown team despite that being the dream for most NBA fans, doing everything MJ did from wearing his number to following his legacy in the same movie, proclaiming himself the GOAT, and in more recent years running every team as LeGM, LeCoach, and LeStar Player while complaining he didn't have enough help.

My two cents = if you do not recognize Lebron James talent as a basketball player, I feel you are just hating on him. I am not going to try to defend all the criticisms sent his way and feel yes, there are valid criticisms both off and on the court, but should we expect any player to be perfect? I also feel the game has been changed to the point where the player on the offensive side of the floor has a bigger advantage than in the past but Lebron has had plenty of big moments and success. I definitely want him on my team because of his talent. Is he the "goat" ? I feel he is not and I cringe when he has said that - I feel any player should let others give that kind of praise = Jordan had the best answer for that question, and really, there are so many variables that it is an impossible question to answer without having a friendly debate. I have Jordan , for me as my #1 and Kareem as my #2 and we all have our favorite players and we all have our personal views. Thanks for sharing this video and keep up the good work!

On the stat padding thing this video about WB explanes it pretty well.
In Lebron case I would say. If you are MJ or KD or Jerry West or Milwaukee Kareem or Elgin Baylor I would let you take 25 shots per game if you need. But That's because you are a scoring machine so of course I want you to score a lot that's your role on the team.
But in Bron case he has never been a natural hight scoring volume player he's gonna have 40 points here and here but that's not his things in general. He has alway been a guy who does a little bit of everything + He is not even specially a good shooter so why is he taking so many shot per game this season? I wouldn't mind if he was also playing great defence ect... but he is clearly not this year and hasn't been a great defender for easly half a decade now.
When you sacrifice efficient plays and team basketball and save your energy for your own accomplishment that is stat padding and I'm not okay with that specially when your team is struggling.

I think padding your stats is mostly bad. I mean, aside from devaluing things like triple doubles, by purposefully making them more common, each game is going to demand a certain performance. It's more important to find the opportunities to make the plays that win the game than creating those opportunities for the sake of them. Because, while you can still win by chance, with your mind primarily focused on yourself, sometimes all it takes is one missed action that needed to happen to determine victory or failure.
As for the expectation, I honestly don't think it was a big deal in LeBron James' case. There have been a number of really good players that have been looked forward to as they entered the league. The question is: is it more valuable because more people had expectations, or is there more value to those whose expectations made it possible to have so many expectations for the sport at that time, by revitalizing the sport itself?

People discredit LeBron on a lot of biased bullsh*t and false things but I will say this. He's not a 1 on 1 player. In the clutch when he was to make a play by himself he has no go-to move so it's different every time. He's a average free throw shooter but when the game is on the line he's worse. He's got many clutch moments/games so he is considered clutch. On defense DURING THE REGULAR SEASON he is seen taking possessions off. 2011 finals was a disaster but he doesn't get enough credit for how he responded with back 2 back championships and MVP's. Losing finals after finals and picking himself up to go at it the next year shows the mentality he's got. He may not be your GOAT but if he's not considered amongst the greats like Kobe, Magic, Kareem, MJ, Bird, Wilt etc. you're 100% just a hater

Padding stats is a good thing. But here is a couple stats that which is NOT a good thing. Lebum has a career Free Throw Shooting percentage which is actually below average to the rest of the NBA and its history. Plus he is the all-time player for the most Turnovers in NBA history. These two stats should disqualify him from further conversation of being the GOAT. To me the GOAT will be the player who will have all-around skills in all measurable basketball statistics/categories. In another words, the GOAT player does not have any weaknesses in any parts of his game.

I'll say this first: Lebron is an athletic beast. And he has racked up the numbers and accolades to stand tall among the rest of the league. And it's fair to make the case like this. He has earned it!
Part of the Lebron "hate" is based in political understandings. As with most anything, everyone will have their own understanding of what's going on politically and economically. There are popular movements that have political aspects to them that, if any celebrity supports them, they're labeled as, I don't know, whatever label you can think of. Is that fair? Yes because celebrities know they are high profile figures. They willingly expose themselves when they make comments. That doesn't mean they shouldn't make comments, but just know that if you're going to affiliate yourself with a particular political group, you're going to become a political target. Also, choose your words wisely if you're going to make high profile statements. And choose your affiliations wisely, because you know people are going to notice these things. For example, China and Lebron are linked together publicly and there is a lot of reason for westerners to dislike China. That doesn't help Lebron's case.
No one cares that I'm speaking out on something because I have no influence and no one knows who I am. But someone like Lebron has HUGE influence, especially on kids and youth who are obsessed with basketball.

Imagine being a nba superstar and not be allowed eating at a restaurant cause you are black etc. They are the goat's and if you don't appreciate them than you don't love the basketball the way i do.
Imagine if we put the great Wilt in this era with All the benefits of today's medicine and science how would he do, man changed the basketball so much it's absurd. It ain't fair to compare players from different eras cause they don't have the same playgrounds to begin with.

Lebron is pass 1st and always make the right plays right? He ain't clutch like MJ or Kobe but he's still better than them because he's a better passer right?
WRONG fanboy. Lebron is a turnover machine, and he leads the League by 500+ turnovers more than the next active player in Westbrook. MJ is only 2 assist fewer on average than Jordan, but makes way less turnovers.
