Stunning colors. I can’t wait for mine to arrive. I ordered it immediately after it popped up on the website! I was watching for it! I want every one in the series. I’m in love!
We're happy to hear that you've been enjoying this new series, Lynn! Thank you so much for watching. We'll keep an eye out for your project photos! -Michelle
Thank you for the tutorials. They are such a big help to be able to go back and rewatch while you are making the project. The April project is ready for the hanging sleeve and binding. (The green leaves kinda threw me but I ripped and redid) I am using the hanging frame as I don't have much area to place the stand hanger, although it is beautiful. I have ordered the May kit. Thanks again.
I adore FPP! Love the precision you can achieve with it. Wondering are the patterns available separately? I'm sure I'm not alone in the quilting world in having a dearth of scraps! Having said that, having someone else choose the fabrics takes away the decision fatigue and you can just open the package and sew. Love purple and that stand!
I love both frames, but I have an empty wall in my sewing studio where I am going to display the series. I have ordered three wall mount so far, for the next in the series
When I learned how to paper piece, I was taught to trim after sewing the 2 pieces together. Have you tried that and if so, do you have an opinion as to which works better?
You totally should! You will love them and have so much fun! Happy that you enjoyed this tutorial and we appreciate your support! Here is the link to shop those kits: www.shabbyfabrics.com/c6901/foundation-paper-piecing-products - Abby
Hi Jennifer - After you layer your batting & backing fabrics, you will want to quilt this, and you can choose to quilt as you wish. You can view some of the detailed shots on our Foundation Paper Piecing Kits product pages for ideas on how we did ours: www.shabbyfabrics.com/c6583. We did stitch in the ditch at times, and we also stitched just close to the edge of each shape on other portions to highlight some of the areas. Hope this helps! -Michelle
Hi Laura - You can certainly turn these projects into a quilt or wall hanging project! It would be easy to add some sashing and borders. Thanks so much for watching! -Michelle
Hi Ann - Can you please direct us to which specific portion/timestamp in this tutorial that you're referring to so that we can better answer your query? Thank you :) -Michelle

Hi Janice - For this project, we sized the fabric pieces to trim before you sew to reduce the amount of waste. Hope this makes sense! -Michelle

Hello. After piecing, do you quilt the rose down? Like line quilt or in the ditch? Or not necessary?
