I have used Heat ‘n’ Bond to attach a piece of wool felt to the back of flat felted ornaments to hide the messy side. Thanks for sharing this technique! I needed a little something new to spark my creativity.
I guess if you're working on a padded surface, you could use a couple of pins, crossed over the top and bottom of the wire to hold it down, then whip them out for an extra press at the end once the centre is fused.
If you lay it out on a Teflon mat, it won’t stick
Ah, yes also like a silicone baking mat. Great thought! Thanks.
Thank you so much for sharing, can’t wait to make a dragon fly 😊

You can use a appliqué presser sheet for pressing on. The heat N bond will not stick to it. When it cools, it will peel right off the sheet.
Oh I love this, I find doing feathers very tedious and I loose interest. This is fab
Thank you, I just finished a dragonfly for someone but struggled with wings. This technique will make the next one better!😊
I love the fairy! Is there a tutorial for this?
Dragonflies!!! Whoo hoooo! Soon, I hope….Thanks so much for this, can’t wait to try it out!
I’ve been tasked to make a palm tree….I’m thinking this may be a great technique for that! Now to figure out how to attach!
Yes!
Great tutorial. thank you
Great tutorial, will give it a try. thank you😄
Yet another wonderful tutorial! Thank you for this technique and ‘playing’ to enrich our creativity in fiber! 💕

Guess I might have to break down and buy an iron
