The T Spark option for the GTV is probably the best option, even a well looked after one is under £5k the V6 handles less well in the bends too! Fabulous in in the 166 but too much for this little chassis.

Some great insight @robertedwards3551 I have never owned the T Spark, always heard it was a bit underpowered! maybe its the bargain buy you want as they are peanuts now. Thanks Jimmy

@@jimmyscarclub DO IT! You won’t regret it. The 95-97 GT’s have a slightly revised, softened suspension vs the 93-94s. They aren’t as sharp and nimble in the later years of that generation, but offer a more plush ride. Still handles great and the engine sound is A+.

Great car choices. I wouldn't mind any of them but my choice would be the Probe, with it's great looks and probably the rarest car in the list. I think they are very underrated like the classic 406 coupe.

I think the probe has been the most popular choice out of the lot! Funny how when they came out they were not very popular. I think they have aged very well and will be a collectors item in another 10 years. Thanks Jimmy

The rear subframe on the 2g Probes is a common area of rot on these. The sunroof panel is metal and tends to develop rust bubbles around the perimeter.

I think they look great today, especially in black or white. Back in the day they were like something from the future, they were almost too different and ended up landing in the 'quirky' category.
