I saw a Mount Fuji shirt while I was shopping in River Island, and instinctively screamed MOUNT FUJI upon seeing it. Thankfully the store was quiet save for a store clerk, but I had to leave in sheer embarrassment of making an idiot of myself*
I think this is way more embarrassing than ‘Hollywood’ Jack the Jobber taking his laptop on a date to an Italian restaurant.
*story may be an exaggeration of what actually happened, just wanted a creative Jack accountability comment lol

I've never seen any type of UK dish/food that genuinely looked appetizing. It feels like they just grab whatever is closest, puts in on a plate and calls that a meal lol. That being said this podcast is absolutely DELICIOUS

I always get excited when I see a long episode but then I remember that 2.5 hours of it will be that stupid Tubman in Japan segment
It recently dawned on me the issue with the segment: Tubman went to a country interesting enough, the cpodvast made a segment out of it... but then proceeds to just ride a bike in the middle of nowhere for a year, giving the hosts nothing to work with and thus went crazy. 😂

Milk, Jack. Our scrambled eggs are just eggs with a bit of milk added. That makes them fluffy. And yes we do baked beans, certain areas are inextricably linked with them (insert obligatory "everyone calls Boston 'Beantown' except people FROM Boston" comment here) and don't you DARE compare them whenyou people make them in tomato sauce 🤢
Just to clarify, because I keep seeing Americans freak out over UK beans on toast: our beans AND bread is made differently, both tasting very different to America's, let alone together.

Do you UK guys have bacon like “Canadian bacon” which is basically just ham? or like belly cuts like our bacon? And with the eggs, we whisk them with milk is what makes them fluffier idk if you guys cook for yourself much but that is American scrambled eggs’ secret. To understand look up whisking egg white to make to make meringue. Love the long podcasts!!!
Our bacon is more like the thicker cut style like Canada's, but depending where you go, it is possible to get the crispy streaky American kind.
