Thanks all for commenting, I saw a few questions came up for bulbs I purchase, here you go:

Superbrightleds I have been buying since 2010
Getting a set now…
Dude...He just did my windows on my 23 Silverado 3500 a few weeks ago...that guy is great and does an awesome job!
Window tint turned out great buddy. The truck is looking good.
Ceramic whole front windshield, helps protect dash and keeps 70 to 80 percent UV rays out (Its clear).
Yup that's what I recommended on the previous video too.
That's why I love RAM WHO WORK 💪🏿💪🏿
I`m not a GM guy but I have to admit it's a nice truck. You keep your trucks for 3 years or less it seems so no warranty problems with paint falling off and rust and electrical gizmo going on. The engine is really a good one so the transmission can't go wrong with Allison. Congratulation you have a nice truck
I will point out that the “Allison transmission” in the newer trucks (10 spd) is actually a gm trans with Allison’s stamp of approval. When the 10 speeds came out, gm started saying “Allison branded” vs just “Allison” from previous years. Will it make a difference, I guess only time will tell.
@@jeffs2809 same trans, GM owned Allison from 1926 to 2007 before selling it to a private equity company.. they retained ownership of the trans for 10 years, after 2017 they just own the rights to "Branding" but it's still an Allison designed trans, its just built on a GM assembly line now vs an Allison factory
Walked out to my truck after work today and parked next to me was a truck exactly like yours. I love my RAM, but that truck definitely looks good. Especially in person. 👌🏼
I really like the all wheel drive system, Dodge and Ford don't have this options. The independent suspension. I own the 2500 GMC Denali with the 278BH Fifwheel Grand design with the Reese 20 K ,I added the Timbren SES no needed just for safety the Road master suspension is another excellent combination. I am glad for you and your family 👪 Duramax with Allison transmission work great for me. I own a landscaping business in Florida for the last 26 years and work with Differents big Heavy duty equipments, I respect everybody's opinions Duramax with Allison is the best. The Diesel Mechanics that work taking care Heavy duty pick up truck in my areas they agree with me. I appreciate your good information and honesty 👍
Yes ,bet yours is deleted, end of most of your problems! No state inspections, or emission checks. Like the Wild Wild west down there!
100% agree on the plate lights. I changed mine out within a few weeks. 80k+ truck and skimped out on those plate lights
That was the first thing I noticed on my 2022 also. The next upgrade that I really liked is the GMC logo puddle lights. When you unlock and the led strip comes on you have the GMC on the ground also. I went from a 2019 Ram 3500 dually to a 2022 GMC 3500 Denali srw and love the power compared to the ram.
I don’t know if it’s a parts availability thing or it’s the manufacturers trying to stick it to the customers, but I’ve seen them all cutting items that were either standard or part of a package. Ford stands out the most, since I’ve been close to ordering a superduty , but I’m sure others are doing it too.
Easy example, ‘22 lariat, standard headlights used to be led’s, but are now halogen. The last time I looked, the led upgrade was around $1300, but also required another package adding something like another $3k.
Facts, they’re killing me with the packages…
As soon as you said lighting and skimp I knew exactly what the video was about. I’ve put LED’s in mine too and can’t believe I had to. Come on GM.
I had a 2016 GMC sierra 1500 and I changed the licence plate bulbs to LED and GM kept sending me notices that my plate lights were out.I found Phillips visions LED are very good . I have recently purchased a 2023 2500 and will do the same.Very nice trucks.
As much as I like your truck, i think i'm waiting for the new interior that is coming in spring of 23!
Super nice truck. I agree the interior has grown on me. But look forward to the 2024 interior
So how's the ride compared to the ram bro? I agree the bulbs are miniscule and easy.
The darker the license plate lights the better 😉
Man what a great channel! thanks for your reviews. Thoughtful concise and on point
JB in your very first video I told you the things you will have with GM is headlights always out, dated interior and cracking plastic. Keep an eye out on the road and many new vehicles driving with a headlight out will be GM or Chevy, not joking. It’s very little things but this is how they save building cost.
I just recently changed all my “white” lights to LEDs on my truck (headlights, reverse lights and tag lights). Big difference for sure. I went with Lasfit for everything but the tag lights.
Tint looks good. That’s what I did for mine except I also done 20% over the rear window too.
Also, I knew the interior would grow on you. I’ve consistently said the GM interiors are nowhere near as bad as everyone lets on. And they lead the pack as far as ease of use goes. Hopefully that remains true for the updated interiors.
Good luck with the new truck JB. I got my 2019 Ram 3500 SRW right after you bought yours and part of the reason why I got it was due to your reviews of that vehicle. I could not be happier with it, especially since Ram replaced the CP4. Non of the other manufacturers did that, they just left their customers with that timebomb of a fuel pump.
At first I was wondering why you would get rid of a great truck at only 42K miles, but I understood when you said you put ownership under your business. Makes sense and also makes sense you will be changing trucks more frequently to give long term reviews.
I look forward to your future videos. Good luck and safe travels to you and the family!
I agree with you. Also in todays time... all headlights should be LED
I had add the leds to the reverse lights as well as the rear plates
Congratulations on the beautiful beast
How has mileage been compared to the rammer and how is the overall power / feel towing and non towing.
Cool bulb light
If your worried about heat with black on black you should check into ceramic tint next time
Superbrightleds I have been buying them since 2010
I love my 21’ Ram 2500 but I’m not a brand snob,if it’s a nice truck it’s a nice truck,not a big fan of the Chevy’s but the GMC’s are super nice,congrats on the new purchase!!
I love our 2500 AT4.. in Metical Forest Green.. with 5% window tint. We need to link up some time.
Did you look into ceramic tint for your new pickup? I've heard good things about it and it feels cooler in the cab. I had ceramic tint installed all around in my Ram 3500 HO. Clear on the windshield and rear window and two back doors. The two front doors were tinted and it matched perfectly all around.
I'm a lighting guy too..I use lasfit for everything
Great video👍
Thanks!
That’s like the XLT Ford’s all the LED lights inside and even the license plate lights but no LED for head and tail lights. You gotta pull that warning label off the glovebox. 😂
Same issue as my 21 1500. Lasfit LED has a kit you can buy and easily replace all of the normal bulbs to LEDs. That’s what myself and tons of other have used on the Sierra/Silverado group. Seems like everyone uses Lasfit. I’ve been running mine for years now with no issues. I did my license plate, brake, and reverse lights.
Check your interior lights as well. Mine on my 1500 are led but basically do nothing as far as lighting up the interior in the night. It’s shocking how bad they are on my truck lol.
Also did my tint myself. There’s a guy in the group on Facebook who made a RUclips video on how to buy ceramic pre cut tint off Amazon (3m brand) and with a little patience I managed to do mine myself and looks factory surprisingly. Paid 80$ and did my whole truck last year. I live in the desert and it still looks brand new a year later. Maybe next time if you consider doing it yourself you could save a bunch of cash!
Should have done the whole windshield. It makes a big difference
Yeah if he wants to get pulled over and ticketed.
Have never been pulled over. Pass cops all the time. Florida
Thanks!
Thanks Christian 👍🏾👍🏾
I instantly swapped mine out the only incondecent lights on mine are headlights an 3rd breaklight
Idk JB but that ram interior is in my opinion pretty nice I get compliments all the time but I like that GMC keep up the good work but help helped my judge to purchase my 2021 ram 🐏 👍🏽 keep us posted on the GMC
That was the first thing that I changed.
I 100% love the truck. The ram was nice but this AT4 is the dogs bollocks. Very beautiful. I don’t mind the interior. As long as it’s comfortable and gives you what you need that’s all that matters. Same with my 18 tundra. I’m very happy and content with my purchase. Love my leather, it’s extremely comfortable and gives me exactly what I need. I have no complaints, actually one….I wish he seats were cooled. I just have heated 🫤 but that’s first world problems 😂
Yoooo I was just showing my friend this last week!!! I’m def switching my lights out. I tried to convince myself that they were suppose to match the wheel well lights.
Speaking of lights. This truck could really use some turning lights. It’s hard making right hand turns in the dark country setting.
If you want any extra lighting bulbs, I would go with LED
I don't see the 12 inch screen on this truck like the Ram has. ( Just Kidding ) I think that 2024 Denali has the big screen. Nice Truck, wishing you the best of luck with your new Truck
I bought a 2023 3500 Denali dually. I agree on the interior. I like it the way it is as well. Ordering the led lights now. Keep going please. What are we changing next?
Yes that light looks better and I guess you will be washing that. New truck🥵😫
Can you post a link to those bulbs? Thanks!
Hope you like the truck, I did the exact swap you made, however I have already ordered a new ram. Don’t like the operating system of the gmc, and can’t stand the seats, not to mention the lack of storage. But the gmc is a beautiful truck.
Yeah the tint is a must! 🔥 we gotta do our Jeep next week.🇺🇸💪
I test drove a 1500 GMC AT4, and it was a pretty nice truck. The Denali would have probably matched the trim level of the Limited, but your truck seems to have quite a few good features. It would be cool to see what the differences are between what you got and the Denali. It would also be cool to see the differences, if any between your truck and the Chevrolet? When you said you we’re getting a new Truck, I was sure it was going to be the Ford, because your wife seemed to really like the one you we’re testing. In the Ford, I would get the King Ranch, but the Lariat is a good trim level and has the need features for a better price.
Should replace the front strip with heat blocking clear film like from 3M. Eddie's life did it and is an option on Range rovers.
Do a solid axle swap I did mines and love it 👍🏿👍🏿
Still a beautiful truck though!
I just looked in my 2021 GMC Denali 3500 owners manual and here is what I saw
"Bulb Replacement
For the proper type of replacement bulbs, or any bulb changing procedure not listed in this section, contact your dealer.
Caution
Do not replace incandescent bulbs with aftermarket LED replacement bulbs. This can cause damage to the vehicle electrical system."
So not sure you should do this replacement if you are following other manufacturers recommendations.
30% ceramic is very easy to see through at night for your front windshield and well worth it. Consider it in the future. The truck looks great but man I just can’t believe the tailgate already has that huge scratch in it. Did you do that or did it come like that?
Diode Dynamics only way to go for LED's
Tint the sunroof , you’ll be amazed how much heat it will keep out of the cab.
GMC 3500 long bed Duramax here love your truck . Glad you didn't go Ford .
Anyone else peep that fiber splicer 👀
its the exact same on the new new HDs tooo like my god haha
The last ting I want to do is highlight my plates.
Try out Lasfit bulbs!
Cool... what does it weigh, how much can it haul?...
If you’re going with all the black out with the black on the truck, I’ll give it 28% darker
2024 available in spring, all new interior. Maybe you will be trading up. Lol
I laughed out loud because the FIRST a thing I did with my 2022 AT4 HD was to change those dang bulbs. Diode dynamics has the best led bulbs!
Tint the sunroof also.
Sorry if you mentioned this explicitly, but why did you choose a GMC over another Ram? Especially with the interior downgrades
Glad you got yourself a new ride. How's the ride compared to the Ram? I'm waiting to order a '24 GM, probably a 2500 w/the max tow (don't want the 12.1k GVWR of the 3500 w/my 14k equipment trailer, but will have to see what the sticker says when they are released). Love the vids, keep 'em up!
You are so Cool!!!!
I have the better looking high country. Anyway, the big missing items is auto following cruise control.
Does your trucks heated/cooled seats and parking sensors work? Asking cause I'm still waiting on the chips for my 2022 AT4 3500 (Forest Green) I got back in January. Gonna raise hell if yours are working as mine should be installed if new vehicles are getting installed. Als i went with Ceramic all the way around on my truck, 20% on sides and back and clear on front windshield. Man does it make a difference.
I bought a 2023 3500 Denali a month ago and yes everything works
Also have a ‘22 and still waiting. Yes the 23s are coming with chips while 22 owners are being put on the back burner. It’s getting cold out I want my F’n heated seats I payed for.
Brother what make you change dodge for gmc
Sorry bro but I have to disagree with your tint. ONLY because I made the same mistake on my black truck. (If you were trying to keep it as cool as possible that is) If I could redo it again I would have put 70% ceramic tint on the front windshield and 20% ceramic front windows with 5% ceramic on the back doors and back glass. I hope you getting that beautiful thing clear wrapped soon!!
My high country has led’s
if i had to rate the trucks it would be Ford>Ram>Chevy/GMC. I"m actually sad you didn't get the ford. But i get it.(BTW i love that your from Utah!!!)
Are you planning on going with timbrens or air bags in the new truck?
It’s a beautiful truck but you better get fuel mileage then the RAM. And congrade.
With the tint on the front side windows is there any issues with visibility outward when driving at night?
RAM did the same thing on the new 1500's with the LED lighting. The third brake light and cargo lights are incandescent bulbs. Makes no sense why they with cheap out on 3 bulbs.
Can you drop the link to those led bulbs please ?
Nice truck! I’m just not a fan of their towing mirrors. They look so weird.
👍
I personally don't mind if my license plates are as difficult to see as possible...because uhh, reasons LOL.
But yeah, LEDs are so cheap these days and they're already trying to phase them out for lasers in Europe, you'd think manufacturers would just make that a given.
Hey man, love you videos. Are you hacked by someone pretending to be you on Telegram? I’m in high tech and feels like a phishing/cyber attack to me. Anyways, check out your accounts for weird shit. Love your videos bro keep them coming!
First mods I always do is led lighting all the way around. Some say it’s anal I just love the modern look, plus safety because now other drivers can see me as well a lot better at night
DOT approved headlights?
@@candiapple85 yes
@Jose Ortiz I can't find the DOT approval stamp.
Still confused why they put independent front suspension on an HD truck…
Ride quality.
@@candiapple85 who buys an HD truck from ride quality? If you want ride quality buy a 1/2 ton.
If you already know your answer why ask someone else?
I dont like blk on blk summer heat is killer

Outdated interior. Going backwards 😮
Dude I’ve owned 4 Silverado HDs including my 2019, my biggest beef is the interior dash, which they are now updating, the License plate bulbs ain’t no big thing
That’s interior sucks!! 2023 and didn’t get the refresh?
As soon as you said lighting and skimp I knew exactly what the video was about. I’ve put LED’s in mine too and can’t believe I had to. Come on GM.
Agreed my 1990 99 and 2005 had underhood and glove box lighting and the did have under dash on the floor mat area lighting!
