  • @mattkowal90
    @mattkowal90 5 лет назад +9

    Loy Allen Jr. should have been black-flagged because at the start he beat Terry Labonte to the line. According to NASCAR rules, YOU CANNOT beat the pole-sitter to the line at the initial start.

    Have to imagine that Dale was probably a bit annoyed with Marlin for pulling the the other 3 cars up to the lead pack and turning it into a 5 car shootout for the win. But the wreck wasn't Marlins fault, that was strictly between Earnhardt and Shepherd.

    • @vinewood8295
      @vinewood8295 2 года назад +1

      If Marlins engine had just blown apart instead of just losing power and then they were able to fix it, he never woulda been there to help Gordon & Martin & Dale probably woulda won that race and the 95 Winston Cup along with it. His was a move that eventually cost Dale that season's title along with about $1.5 million dollars...

    The race that ultimately cost Dale Earnhardt the 1995 Winston Cup. If Morgan Shepherd doesn't wreck him on the final lap, he finishes in the top 5 instead of where he ended up and wins the championship, he only lost to Jeff Gordon by 34 pts that year...

      Wallaces fault or his crew chief for not making him do that or explaining why it would be beneficial. He ended 5 laps short so there is no way he would have made it to the end, but maybe he gets another lap or 2 before he runs out. He never got the best mileage and watching this race live I knew he was going to run out, I just didn't know when. If other drivers were close they'd have tried to make it too.

    • @4fanintexas
      @4fanintexas 4 года назад +3

      What for? Sterling didn't do anything wrong. He pulled the 24, 21, and 15 to the front because his car was the fastest thing on the track, but that's fine. He pulled down out of the way and let them settle it amongst themselves. What happened to Dale was purely between him and the 21.

      @@sicfrynut because he knows Earnhardt is the man to beat for the title and wouldn't lose as many points to Martin who is behind him in points going into this race. And Gordon was right. Not only did he not lose too many points to Martin gaining on him but he beat Earnhardt who was in a crash also. It worked out for Gordon 100% and he knew it.
