Also I had a major kink in my fuel line at the bend going into the engine compartment. I fixed it with the fuel hose and hose clamps like you did. Mine was almost completely collapsed.
When I started the video,I was saying..I hope it was only an intercooler boot came off for you! Sorry to hear what it was, glad you got it fixed. I use hot shot secret EDT with LX4 in the diesel, seems to be a great product.
Sorry to hear about the trouble with your truck dude that sucks. Glad you got it fixed, this is some good information. It’s definitely gonna help someone else out. I have a LMM as well so, it might end up being me. Thanks for trying to help the rest of us out.
I see you relocated your TCM. I have a 2007.5 with 158k miles. After seeing all the TCM problems people are having I’m a little nervous about mine having a meltdown on our hunting trip to Wyoming this year. Are the early LMM models having as many failures? How did you secure it to your load center?
Good eye. I would move it as soon as you can. Just use some heavy-duty double-sided tape. Clean the top of your fuse box with alcohol real good. I can still get to my fuses. It's a horrible design, and I think the problem exists for all LMM's and LML's
Mine came on strong and since I replaced that injector it has never happened again. Yours might be a little harder to pinpoint, since it's not completely failing. Run some heavy duty injector cleaner and see if clears up
THANK YOU! I have the exact same issue with my LMM. Like you said, lots of info on the LB7s but not much on these.
