You can always tell which people held the flashlight for their dad. This channel is for all the people that try and do things for themselves, just like dads used to do.

I have an '07 Duramax Van. I've been going through hell trying to figure out my fueling problem. I looked inside the dog house and it was right in front of my eyes the whole time totally kinked. I will change it out next weekend. Everything else is new and I mean everything sadly.
can i play music via Bluetooth in my 10 arcadia when android is paired ?
THANK YOU! I have the exact same issue with my LMM. Like you said, lots of info on the LB7s but not much on these.
Is this truck tuned? Or is it just a straight delete? What exhaust are you running (size/brand)? Do you have a resonater installed?
Your lost of words has me confused, does the inner tire touch the leaf spring or it has 2.5 inches of clearance. Common sense says it’s 2.5 but I just want to clarify as I’m trying to stuff 315 on my dually
Your good bro it looks low but you give it throttle and it will climb mine does the same
The only potential issue will be if your cp3 fails will crap your new injectors and they expensive so might be good idea to replace
I've been chasing issues on my fuel system for ages, and I feel like an absolute idiot because I am a gm diesel tech and sence my truck never threw a p0087 code I never found that buliten. I've replaced my cp3 fuel filter housing all soft lines including the line by the transmission and never thought to look here but this fix got me one step closer my final issue is my fuel pressure relief valve. And hopefully she will be running I'm been running around like a chicken with its head cut off and this got me one step closer.
The truck looks great. I hope it keeps serving you well. Who made or where did you get the rear bumber ?
How wide is your rim? This is my biggest issue. Can I fit a 295 with a 6.5 wide rim or not. I know I’ll need a spacer for the rears
My rims are the standard 6.5 wide dually wheels
You in bama? Ill pay ya to do this to my truck
Where did you get a right hand drive Wagoneer?
I have a 2002 single cab dually LB7 ZF6 4×4 . I have 430,000 miles. I've replaced injectors, alternator, water pump and head gaskets with studs. I just spent $2,000 for a new dual disc clutch. 6 months ago almost 3,000 on a completely new kryptonite front end. Still much cheaper than a new truck.
Love your videos they’ve been super helpful for my lmm! I’m in the same boat with the p0087. I just bought my injectors yesterday because I’ve done everything else besides cp3. My question is what’s the update did you ever see the code again since doing injectors or did that seem to fix the low fuel rail pressure?
@braydenburbank5838 I have never seen the p0087 since. The unfortunate thing is, I cracked a piston about 3 weeks ago. I am so sad, I was gonna do a video once I get the truck back. I still love the truck, but I am really mad at it right now 🤑🤑🤑🤑
@@heldtheflashlightfordad6728 oh no! That hurt! I am looking out for the video though! I installed my new injectors over the weekend and it pulled great with no codes and feels like a whole new truck!
Oil pressure is great, and per GM specs sir!!
Can you use the steering wheel prompt button to make calls and answer Bluetooth? 2:11
Hey brother! What kind of fuel hose did you use?? Great videos btw!
Same on my 09 LMM runs good and strong.
Are your torsion bars turned up?
I have an 08 duramax and it idles at 28 lbs of pressure and as soon as I touch the throttle the oil pressure sensors light warning goes off. Changed the sensor and it still does it. Looking to see if anyone has any advice.
Nice video
passing semis and looking like a donkey for sure 😂 thanks for these vids
Exactly where my 07 LMM with 92,000 miles oil pressure sits as well, at idle and driving. Always worried me, but it definitely seems to be normal. I also had the low oil pressure light come on once after towing hard in the heat when it came down to an idle when i got off the highway. Probably going to toss a new pressure sending unit in mine just to see if it changes the reading at all.
Off subject! Oil pressure goes to nothing on gauge and goes up with rpm’s. Changed sensor. Cold oil pressure is good and gets worse with hotter oil. What do I need to change or do. I love the Duramax but I hate how close the gauge gets to the red. They need to change this
I had this issue in my 2002 lb7 with 292k
Nice
I have a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali did you get this off Amazon
www.crutchfield.com/
thanks your right, not a lot of info out there.
Going trough it now just got a 03 durimax 200 k miles lb7 just did releif valve and regulator and did great for a day then a little white smoke at idle and spudders then goes into limp mode
I was worried about the audio pressure , but now you put my mind at ease a little bit , thank you
No sound
Bro, outstanding look. Thanks for the video. also I’ve been searching for black dally center caps for my 22 Dually. Where did you find yours?
Thanks for watching! I used a scotch Brite pad to scuff up the chrome center caps and sprayed them with black bed liner. They still look good even after 3 years
I am glad you got it broke in. I have 360,000+ on my LMM .
Wow. Thanks for the tips.
I appreciate your ingenuity!
That's crazy... I've been fighting the obd code p0087 low fuel rail pressure low. I replaced the cp3 fuel injection pump also replaced the lift fuel pump inside fuel tank. Replaced pressure sensor switch along with fuel rail relief valve in front of fuel rail still having the p0087 coming up.
Have you done the injectors?
@@heldtheflashlightfordad6728 nope I thought about at the very beginning. And after testing them onto the scanner and individually diagnosed them. They check out to be good. After all there is no fuel on the oil fluid. Not sure
My old injectors tested good, too. My return rates were normal, I had perfect balance rates. Mine would only act up on the hottest days, pulling heavy loads. The fuel gets super hot and thin, and the injectors start returning too much fuel. It's almost impossible to check the injectors under these conditions. I've researched and found that the injectors need to be replaced or rebuilt in the LLY, LBZ, and LMM duramaxes at around every 160k-200k miles, depending on how hard the trucks worked, give or take. Doesn't matter if you changed fuel filters and added fuel treatment religiously.
@@heldtheflashlightfordad6728 see that's interesting. Due to cold temperatures she drives amazingly. It's when it gets to normal hot operation temperatures it's when she goes limp mode and can't drive past 35 let alone 45 miles an hour.
@francisco-javiergarcia4264 Hope you get it figured out. It's extremely frustrating not knowing when she's gonna just fall off. Mine always did it at the worst time, I've had to cut over three lanes of traffic with a damn skidsteer on the trailer. What a pain in the ass
Have the same truck of you. 6.60 max to the 200000 miles. My oil pressure is same thing
They make a restrictor that you can put in the hose so she doesn’t snap back and forth like that.
My 2010 LMM reads the same pressure. I just had mine deleted. Best money I ever spent.
Mines an 02 with 288k on it. I live in Fl and it gets hot. Mine was throwing the p0087 occasionally when it was hot and I had just run steady around 70-75mph and would stop at a light or such. On take off it would throw the code and limp. It started happening more and more frequently so I had to find it. Unfortunately for me it was the CP3 pump. A couple days and a lot of labor later ( and $$$) and it hasn’t done it since. Now, with this info I’ll know where to look should it do it again in the future. Appreciate it.
Do you have air bags in the back? I have a 13 gmc dually. Been back and for with keys to level up front. I haul over 20k lbs and and the back squats just a lil bit, I think if I put keys on the front will be higher with the load unless you have bags to level back out…. How is your set up? And is there any difference with towing with keys and without the keys ?
I have air lift bags in the back, and 2" keys cranked. Towing is still very comfortable, I run about 50-60psi in the bags when I'm towing heavy, and the truck sits perfectly level. I keep the bags empty when unloaded. Otherwise, the truck is way too bouncy
12’ LLY here with 0 psi to 25. It’s random. 36K miles and runs fin. Assume it’s just the gauge or sender.
having hell with this problem, gonna give this a try
What fitting are you using and where you get it for the air chuck
Click on my comment that says UPDATE. I put all the links in that comment.
Great video & thanks so much for pointing out these fuel lines that are a posible problem !!
Thanks for watching!
My 08 LMM is just like that. I was running Rotella and it was right at 30 psi. I changed to Mobile Delevac and gained around 5 psi. I have around 350,000 on mine.
I used 200psi continintal on the 2 from primer. LLy. Old ones looked like was coming apart inside was separated
My 2005 Silverado is the base model single cab with the cd and cassette player. I want to upgrade to an aftermarket system with Bluetooth and backup cameras. And then lose the ugly radio antenna. I subscribe to a simple radio app on my iPhone 13 that lets me listen to almost every station in America. But the truck’s radio has no auxiliary plug-in or Bluetooth. Will doing this wear out any phone’s battery too fast? Or is there a time limit for any phone’s personal hotspot usage?
Not the most robust design.
That oil pressure is exactly what my lbz shows. I have driven or owned several GM duramax's and they were all identical to what your is showing. The angle that you view the gauge makes a huge difference. I was a passenger on a trip to TX with a buddy of mine that inherited a 2007 3500 dually dmax. This was in 2010. Truck had 27k on it and was in a barn in mint condition. When we fueled up before we headed back to FL, I leaned over and glanced at the gauges from the passenger side and it looked like it had about 10 psi oil pressure at idle. After fill-up, I drove the first leg back so when I hopped in the drivers seat the gauge read exactly as yours.
