I am enjoying mine. Limited highway use planned for it so not worried about the power. But feels fine to me when I was alone on the highway. VERY roomy, looks gorgeous. Perfect for a young small family or someone who is tired of feeling "low" in a sedan. Now that I am slightly elevated I can never go back to a car. I love my 2016 Civic Touring, but this is a whole new level of enjoyment.
Hi Tom, my mom owns a 2023 HR-V Sport FWD which I had the opportunity to test drive. It has great cargo capacity, decent enough power for a daily commute, decent gas mileage, and handles corners really well; more so then my 2023 CR-V Hybrid Sport. Overall, a practical car that’s fun to drive!
I purchased a white sport trim a couple of months ago. Overall a decent city run around cross over type vehicle. Gas mileage is around 10.1 L/100km, not great but I did know this before buying. The steering feels excellent and driving confort very good. Runs pretty good on the highway with no too much road noise. After driving the Honda Civic since 1999, this was a nice welcome change.
Love the car but those are some horrible dealer add-ins. The all season protection package is just around $400, so you are paying around $1,600 just to have two windows tinted since the rest are already tinted on the sport trim.
Nice Pkg WITHOUT Moon Roof TY!! I have a 2022 Crv with Moonroof and if twas not for Interest rate would trade in for the the HRV without Moonroof and Turbo!! Good for Honda keeping the Naturally aspirated non Turbo in most vehicles.
My 24 HRV EXL with blind spot is the best option. I paid 29K, no mark ups. I had 8200 equity in my 20 fit EX plus 2K down. I got 5.9 at 342.00 a month. I wanted a new 23 accord EX. The car insurance would have gone up 445 for 6 months. A civic was 440 more over 6 months but the HRV was the least at 235. The accord and civic insurance is horrible. My HRV is 257.00 a month. A accord would have been 320.
Just got one and upgraded from 22 civic - it’s the same acceleration as a civic sport 2022 due to same horsepower and engine. These people comparing have never test driven this car. Y’all have no idea what you’re talking about it accelerates perfectly fine, it’s not a damn race car. It’s a mini tank that is safe and reliable which is what most people look for in a car- go get the type R if you’re complaining about acceleration and HP lol - and older Honda may have been more power but the new 4 cylinders are so good and efficient they use less power compared to older Hondas. 😂
Subcompact? It has nearly as much legroom as a Camry? I know for marketing they’re calling it a subcompact SUV, but it’s really a more usable midsize station wagon. It looks like a nice vehicle.
What is missing in hrv Power tailgate and back row seat air conditioner and back row seat adjustment and center console back row ... this feature is missing in😢 Hrv. Engine have to be more powerful and fuel efficient. Allow us more color options in the base model. So customers can select more colors option.
It is never coming, they steer everyone to the CRV, think about it. The Hybrid's are being kept for China, the E.U. places with less space and more dense population. North America is still ten years behind Europe on accepting smaller vehicles and hybrid's. My guess is the HRV never sees a hybrid version.
1st thank you. just can not see a fit engine in a HR-V 2nd gen car, the rear as more and more I look at it is resembling a fiat car not the lexes now. After tax and all we are talking in the high 30 grand, like $36 grand, and gas mileage still under 30 mpg. I notice you are using a gopro, a dji mic and a nd filter, got the job done and thank you for your take on the car. the colurs are almost there Honda almost..
Depends on dealer. I just paid 30000 out the door for an HRV 2WD Sport in the white trim. This is in California where taxes and license fees tend to be higher than the rest of the country. If a dealer is adding expensive options, walk. Its turning into a buyers market again.

rear AC and power trunk; NO MARK UP! that's ridiculous. Prob get a subaru; far superior AWD and good pricing.. disappointed in the HIGH mark ups. Had Hondas all my life and they are far too overpriced!
$2,000 for tint, floor mats, and splash guards? 😂😂 good to know I didnt buy my hrv from that dealership, sheeeeeesh. just paid less than $400 for oem splash guards, oem door sill protectors, window visors, and all season floor mats, and yall want $2k? sheeeeesh who ever buys that one is 🤪 love my new hrv though, same color too. Honda came a longggg way!
I ve owned five Hondas and simply put…no it’s not. I drove one and found it to be lacking in power, ride comfort and it was noisy. No thanks, the Kia Seltos blows this thing out of the water.
Definitely not the best and quite popular the worst. Hyundai Kona or KIA Seltos by a long way. Let’s not be silly, this offers absolutely nothing to the consumer.
It's a great looking suv, however I think it lacks in horsepower. I currently have a Mazda cx-30, and in sport mode, it does the job. If Honda would add a little more horsepower, I would be more inclined to purchase this vehicle. I like the look and the room on this vehicle compared to the Mazda.
Ive had a 2016 Honda Civic Touring 8 years and never had one issue with anything other than regular maintenance and the air conditioning had a recall on it which honda fixed quickly. I just bought one of these, it is wonderful. My 4th Honda ( 3rd 2017 civic LX was just totaled ina T bone hence the new HRV ). Honda is #1. I have complete faith in both of my vehicles.
Only for people that want front wheel drive, GM, typical very slow and stupid American company, decided to release an SUV without AWD!!! They could have had a winner but for everyone north of has no use for it.

Good review, but the wheels on the sport are 18 inch not 17 inch.

Welcome to society. Everyone wants to nickel and fine you to rip you off!

Picking up ours monday😊
How are the seats? Do you sit up high or sink down low...?
Total bummer that they didn’t keep the fold up back bench.
This may very well be my next vehicle!
I just got mine, It is wonderful. The power is fine, don't drive like a bozo and there is no issues whatsoever.

Best comment! up!!!!!
EXACTLY!!

I never thought about it that way but that is a good point.
Got one a few months ago. I just wish I had got one sooner. Great SUV imho.
Really needs ac vents in the back
When will Honda offer a hybrid of this model? 27 mpg is not that great.
I'm getting 30mph with mine
How u get 30mpg. I get 24 max 25 😮
I’m getting about 33 with the economy mode on
Are the seats hard as a rock. I need some padding for longer trips.
What is the snow mode exactly? Is the AWD always on?
Yes it’s always on
Just say NO to the mark-up and walk!
True 👍👍
People should have done that the Dodge dealers marking up the challengers and chargers. Talk about robbery, try to buy a Dodge Challenger Demon!!

seems like this is the most popular trim grade
my 2024 has no warning sound when backing up...
Does it have apple car play??
Yes, but the Sport requires a wire to connect. Only the high end model gets wireless.
Dealers up charges the reason why consumers are not buying new cars this year. Cars are just too expensive we must put a stop to this
nice
I'd wait for a hybrid version. The engine doesn't have much oomph and the mpg are pretty low.

Where I live the initial cost is $35k 💀😣
@@Darth_yoyo M.S.R.P. we no longer go under that it's over here due to 2019

The Hondaghini is beautiful! Picking mine up on Saturday 😍😍
Picking mines up on Monday 😊
Yes it's the best . But you will pay a total of 35000. Total.

I paid 32k including NJ tax/tags, fees.
They should have Brought to USA 🇺🇸 the ZRV IT HAS ALL THE FEATURES
the wheels are 18 inch

There’s more than just that plus remote start
remote start comes installed on them already.

why spend 30k for this when you can buy a crv hybrid for a few grand more?
Is it?
That front grill is fugly. Not sure why they did that when this new design came out a year or two ago.

CVT transmission is a scary thing tho

not all 🙄
HONDAGHINI URUS
👍
Can it come with a mower deck option? I would only consider a Honda to cut my grass. #boring
Most reliable car ever made and maintains its value. Better than anything American and who wants to pay for an overpriced German vehicle.
My 2024 Buick envista is way better than
Lol awd? Engine gonna last 200000 miles? Shut up
Only for people that want front wheel drive, GM, typical very slow and stupid American company, decided to release an SUV without AWD!!! They could have had a winner but for everyone north of has no use for it.
good luck getting to 100k miles with a Buick. The HRV will last minimum 300k.
NO WAY. The Buick is turbo direct injected. MANY problems there. This is old school multi-port fuel injected naturally aspirated reliable Honda!
Buick ?? Are they still in business ??
