      @HawkeyeRides  Год назад +5

      The reason why I talked about the speed is because of entering a intersection when speeds are higher it makes driving more dangerous because it isn’t fast. It’s important to think about others that are going the speed limit and it takes this more time to get up to speed causing others to slow down because of it. Think of semi-trucks when a vehicle merges now they have to slow down in-which if you cut in front they don’t have the brakes to stop 25-35 mph in 20 feet 👍

    i really like the one i just bought. this is probably the best overall value for a car that i've had for sure. at this price point, i still have awd and something big enough to get through a decent bit of snow and haul quite a bit of stuff in etc. my mom was actually shocked at the interior experience noticing that it's very similar to her rx350 2023 features but for under half the price. obviously this isn't a lexus and the cars don't compare in overall quality but for an entry level vehicle it's loaded to the gills. the leather seats are super nice, the stereo system sounds great, the little v4 motor actually goes fast. way faster than my 05 accord or my 15 pilot. solid gas mileage. i think for most people this is a good affordable car that's about the right size for most needs and far exceeds on most days. with realistic expectations at this price point i'd give it a 5/5. that styrofoam storage in the back though HONDA WHAT IS THIS???? lol like dude that's the material my mcdonalds hotcakes are served in lol at least put in a plastic one, it doesn't even have to have gold plating or anything.

    • @cortextickle
      @cortextickle 7 месяцев назад +3

      @@Ricky-mo6mv for me it's the best option available in the 30ish thousand range. I wouldn't touch another GM, Ford, or Dodge ever again. Hyundai and Kia are both basically junk brands, and the corolla cross just isn't that nice. VW is massively unreliable. Subaru's were a consideration but all they have to offer is better off road performance which doesn't apply to me or the majority of vehicle owners. You may not like HR-Vs but there definitely are not infinitely better options available in that size and price range. Mazda's are nice, but the resale value, repair cost, parts availability, etc. by Honda blows them away.

Lemme tell you its the first brand new vehicle weve ever owned and we love it Awesome car. Roomy interior is beautiful great safety features. Just bought a 2024 that looks exactly like the one you are driving in the video, it is for my girlfriend and she daily drives it. The car has 450 miles on it currently and so far it is my favorite car we have bought her. Iv drove it around some myself and I do agree it isn’t “fast” but it’s very practical and does just what it’s supposed to do, get from point A to B and be reliable while doing it. After all I wasn’t shooting for a racecar. The car has quite a bit of room, good leg space. It drives good, rides good, fairly comfortably and looks really nice. For the price for a brand new car with 7 miles on it when we left the dealer I couldn’t find anything to compete really. Thanks for the video!

    I just bought last month a 2024 HR-V Sport in red. I traded my 2022 Civic EX lease in real early. The deal I got was great and couldn't pass it up. I shopped around and different Honda dealers and it was a no brainer. I miss the horsepower the civic turbo had, the sunroof too. But overall, I am very happy with the HR-V. I miss the great gas milage the civic turbo had too. You get a lot of vehicle for the price. I love the car starter the seat comfort, the visibility, the different driving modes, auto lock walk away, 18" wheels, and interior room. A great choice ! I have 16,583 miles on this car. I've had it for about 8 months. Most of the problems that I have with the vehicle are coming from hearsay I have not experienced the issues that other people are reporting with the car. My main concern with having a child was the exploding rear windshields which when it's cold outside and you turned on the rear defroster the compound they use to seal the window to the car reacts with the defrosters and that's what is causing the exploding windows. I did have a recall for a seat belt tensioner which they said the seatbelts passed. 2 service managers that I know said that there will be a fuel pump recall coming down the pipes along with a rear occupancy sensor recall I have noticed that the rear middle seat is showing someone is sitting in it when there's nothing in the back seats. It started going off for the seatbelt reminder and I did not have my son's car seat back there so I know something is definitely wrong with the middle rear occupancy sensor. If you are looking to utilize all 158 horsepower I suggest putting the gear shifter in the S mode and turning off traction control. I haven't noticed the power issue. I also dropped a $120 air filter in it and only use green motul oil.

So next day it happened again I contacted my dealership and spoke to my salesperson he suggested to bring it over the weekend. So brought car Saturday and they said they balances tires and to test it again. If it happens again to bring it back so I did. I brought it back Saturday and service department told me they don't have a loaner at this time and to come Monday. I am going to drop off the car today and get a loaner. Well let’s just put one thing right out there in the open, this is incredibly plain inside and out. Truly looks like a budget vehicle. At least the prior generation had some character.
    Doesn’t seem to offer much of anything in any regard. Honda should make their slogan “less for more.” I expect much better from a top brand.

    • @HawkeyeRides

    • @Ricky-mo6mv
      @Ricky-mo6mv 7 месяцев назад

      @@myNEONCITY Both are bottom of the barrel to be sure judging on interior and exterior looks. But I did like the side profile character lines and the rear door handle design of the former. It had a sporty feel to it overall. This generation looks like absolutely nothing. However, it kind of looks like the Ford Escape before the recent refresh, but not even that good.
      Yes, the front grill of the former model was indeed hideous. Obviously this entry level SUV hasn’t been any sort of priority for Honda. It’s like they just thre it in there because they feel as though they need to have one.
