Filmed in Michigan's Keweenaw during the time of the band's September 5th, 2018 concert in Houghton. A great tribute to the the thousands of Finns and others nationalities that immigrated to the area to work in the copper mines.
They should of felt right at home in the U.P., it's a lot like Finland.
💙 the Quincy Smelter as the video locale. The mines cast a long shadow over the Copper Country and it's wonderful that the band captured some of that unique space and time. As a side note, does anyone else think the miner was inspired by KBC's original Red Jacket can?

My Finlander wife's mother grew up in a house on the hill overlooking Torch Lake, not far up the road from this site, so I really love this! And I live near Ponsse's N.A. headquarters in Wisconsin, so it's all good.

Amazing to see that you shot that video in the Keweenau Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I know those places very well from my time at Michigan Technological University. Loved this arrangement of a classic song.

It’s a pretty neat rewrite, though I’d love to see a rendition more similar to your more popular work (upbeat bluegrass versions of the original).
