Yea also a nice little detail I’m not sure everyone saw is that after you unlock the album on the purah pad you can see the pictures taken by Zelda at the beginning of the game when under hyrule castle

@@kpow967 I mean torches don't do a whole lot of damage, and with brightbloom seeds and materials that can cause fires, you never really need a torch for anything

I freaked out when I got back to that area. It was a good freak out. I loved that the game came full circle.
I was genuinely so excited when I saw the torch as I jumped down.

The game is full of information clues and trails at every corner and all missions and stories are handheld and thorough description

I loved the bit where I got back to the mural now able to blow up the breakable rocks and saw the major plottwist of the game depicted right next to what I saw in the beginning.
Ikr, imagine link still had the bomb rune and they saw what was shown
I found it and then fused a light dragon horn piece to it in order to pay respect to zelda. I still have it displayed in links house to this day

I was wondering if the torch would actually be down there. And when i finally went below Hyrule castle i noticed it there on the ground. I love attention to detail like this.

There is a more obscure detail, when you get the Purah pad, check out the album section. The pictures that Zelda took in the beginning of the game will still be there

@@anon-ee-moos cause I (and other people I know) never checked the album. We just use the camera for the compendium, and when the album is full we delete everything

I remember seeing that torch and I was like... They didn't... Omg. The attention to detail is so amazing
Now we fuse that torch to the master sword to make the Master Torch, and annihilate Gannondorf
I love how they casually kept that detail. But I wanted to go and see if I could find the broken tip of the master sword that sliced Gannondorfs cheek, and since we can fuse stuff, I wanted it so I could make master arrow, or master spear, or similar things.
I immediately ran down there when I was exploring. Hoping to find the tip of the master sword.
I had no idea that was where the end of the game was gonna be. I was so pissed when I never found the tip of the blade.
The bit that hit him at the start was a tiny little shard, although it would be cool to fuse the decayed master sword back together 😂
@@drakmelone2563 while it was just a shard, it was the entire top. More than enough for an arrow.
Reforging the broken master sword would be a cool detail. But my thoughts was 2 fold.
1. Using it as is, as a fuse material for an arrow or something similar.
2. Growing an entire new master sword, over generations to come. Eventually having 2.

But because it was shown to have actually caused damage, even as a glancing blow, and how the cut scene displayed it so prominently. I thought of it as a version of Chekovs gun. Why show it if we can't find it.
I actually saw this and recognized what it was instantly first time. Then I thought long and hard about if my attention to detail in video games has surpassed my attention to details in real life.

I thought you were gonna talk about the two murals depicting Zelda and light dragon Zelda, both of which are covered by rocks until you break them away.
I thought I was the only one to notice this! It gave me a weird sense of dread when I saw it, almost reminding me that this is not a new location, it’s the same place where link almost got annihilated
Also cool detail. Normally you can get 40 hearts in the game, but In the beginning of the game, link has 30 hearts because that was the max in botw and it would be impossible for him to have the new maximum hearts

They should’ve put it to your save in botw, I originally thought it was since i glitched to maximum hearts and stamina, “try that the statue tells you something cool”
I picked up the torch and had it light my way. I kept that torch with me in the final battle.

ANOTHER DETAIL YOU COULDVE MISSED: If you wear the divine beast helms with the respective sage ability being summoned then they wear the sage helm Ex: if you wear Vah Rudania Helm, yunobo’s vow when summoned will where the Ancient Sage helmet
And the mineru sage will match with the zonaite headpiece

Yea another cool detail is when at the beginning, link reaches to try and save Zelda while she's falling but he fails because he isn't strong enough. At the end of the game, he finally reaches her and saves her.
I wish you could still change Link's name because I now want to call him Peter 3
I actually found that and had an "OH MY GOD THAT'S ZELDA'S TORCH" moment. The TLC that went into this game, amazing.
I saw that. I finally went to kill Ganon after 150 hours, and I saw the torch and immediately thought back to the beginning of the game which I played at launch.
I was sitting there with my siblings and we all shouted when we saw the torch 😂
This is how i felt about realizing the hot springs actually had lava under them in the chasm. That's how real hot springs work, and i wasnt expecting to see that in a video game! The little details like that make me unreasonably happy

The true detail is that because of the ??? I know that Pointcrow never picked up a torch during his playthrough of the game
Also you know the chamber where Zelda discovered old zonai art? And some part is covered by that rock wall, well I went there right before beating ganondorf and I bombed the wall and the murals behind it show Zelda holding the master sword, and then Zelda swallowing the secret stone and becoming a dragon
So if link broke the rocks, Zelda would have known here future?

I actually did see this during my play through, but I did also think that it was an amazing little detail they added.

I’m proud to say I did not miss the torch, and I love the attention to detail placed in this game
A cooler details is the fact that the remaining part of the mural you uncover alongside Zelda is concealed by rubble that you can remove upon revisiting the area.

Another awesome detail is that as the start of the game Zelda takes pictures of the ruins, and when you unlock the camera in the purah pad you can still see those images in the emporium, which in nice because it shows link from a decently far away perspective.

I think I heard something mentioned that the chasms to the Depths are in the places where the old surface shrines used to be? Which is pretty cool if true
@@katelynnj2343 you’re correct to some extent. on the great plateau, where the 4 beginner shrines are, there are chasms. if there were chasms everywhere that there used to be shrines, there would be WAY too many chasms

princess zelda or as I call her princess screw up. If you paid attention to the story you'd here that zeldas father had forbid anyone from going under the castle. So here we are some years after botw and what does zelda do? Screw up everything and is the sole individual responsible for the cycle to mercilessly reek havoc on the world. The events never would have happened if she hadnt gone under the castle and got ported to the past.
She was forced to do it as everyone is getting sick from the gloom leaking from below the castle. Dont spam the A button and actually digest what you play.
It would've happen even if she didn't go down the power from the hand was draining and ganon was becoming stronger each day it was only a matter of time before he awakened

If she didn´t go down there (Which she was forced to do in the first place to find out why people were getting sick) it would've been 10 times worse as Ganondorf would´ve gotten Rauru´s stone too
The detail is insane man lol I been hooked on this game I did 4 temples already and 135 shrines I’ve honestly could’ve probably been done by now but I had to slow down I don’t wanna finish everything so quick so I just been doing quest and upgrading my armor

I had high hopes from bro for playing game properly and enjoying everything game has to offer but dude just wanna speed run fr. For example going for one thing but you got distracted by so many thing that it takes you so long to do your main thing you wanted to do. Bro video isn’t fun at all. Just 3 hours long and boing. I think the craziest thing about this is that you hadn’t picked up a single torch in that entire play through.
For the people that don’t understand, when he got near the torch it said “???” indicating that he had never picked up a torch
My jaw literally dropped when I saw that in my first playthrough. The attention to detail to something that seems so simple but has such an emotional impact especially if you went through dozens of hours of gameplay to get there.

I started freaking out when I saw the torch, it really sets in stone how far you have come and who you are trying to save.
