R211S cars performing announcement system testing

Here we see the Staten Island Railway R211S cars undergoing Automated Announcement System (AAS) tests. During these tests, the train runs along the normal route and opens the doors on the opposite side to simulate loading passengers. The AAS cycles through the announcements as it would in regular service, making troubleshooting easier and allowing for edits to be made before the train carries passengers. Enjoy!
