Thank you very much for your compliments. I use a variety of different software including photoshop, illustrator, HTML5, Final Cut, GarageBand and a few other products. Each video takes me a long time to create. My rule of thumb is each minute of video takes about 12 hours to create, so a 7 minute video takes me about 84 hours of development time.
Thank you for the feedback. Getting the pace right is always hard for me, so I appreciate the feedback. Thanks again and good luck in your statistics class.
watching nearly 7 years on, can confirm this video is still excellent as many comments have said as well. Still very relevant to what I am learning in my 3rd year stats class for my bachelor of Psychological Studies. Thank you so much.
After going through a lot of RUclips videos in vain to understand this topic, I can easily say this beats other videos hands down in terms of the ease of understanding and clarity. Great work Thanks
I enjoyed your video and it was very helpful. I do have a couple of items that I could use help on: 1) what is the problem we’re trying to solve? 2) What is the research question upon which the hypotheses are based on? 3) How do the conclusions relate back to the both the research question and the problem statement. 4) If the conclusions support the probability that the problem statement is likely then what possible solution options maybe proposed to address the problem. I understand that aforementioned questions were not part of the goal of the video, but I liked your video so much that I would like to expand it to demonstrate the use of statistics in problem solving. Well done. Thanks Dr. David Gilbert, Sc.D.
Many thanks for your videos...They are clear-cut, leave no doubts whatsoever. I find it essential in learning statistics. Besides your knowledge I appreciate the software you use with such a great ease. All is perfect and esthetic. Besides you upload it free of charge -)))
You are god send even to this day. I am getting my masters in data science and the statistics lessons we are getting are like drinking through a fire hose. I cannot wait to share these videos with my cohort members. You the statman.
Thank you very much. This is an excellent and very helpful video for statistics learners. You are a fantastic statistics instructor! I was confused at calculating F value and finding critical value in the course I am taking. Now, I totally understand. Thank you again and again.
Thanks a lot ,7 years later your tutorials have simplified ANOVA calculating for me manually and in spss. At least now I can relate to the formulas from my class and handbook. Cheers.
Thank you do much! I have been looking for a clear explanation for a two way ANOVA. It’s clear to me now but very daunting calculations!! Thanks for making this easy..
Calculating an ANOVA by hand will be my entire statistics final. Professor said we'll have to know if it's one-way or two-way by looking at the data we're given. So, thank you for these videos! Also...you have a "voice twin" here on RUclips -- a video gamer by the username ManlyBadassHero.
A very eye opener, truly exceptional video for ones journey to Blanked to satisfied concept... Thank you so much for this simple as well as detailed video on two way anova🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was struggling so much with understanding ANOVA analysis to the point of going on a nervous breakdown. Thank you so much for explaining it with such clarity! :)
I can't thank you enough for this video! It really helped me with understanding the topic. I was having difficulties with some formulas and couldn't find the right video for my presentation until i found this one. A really big thanks to you! :)
My Professor in class sucks. This is awesome, thank you so much for getting me through Stats and I actually understand it so much better now!!!!! My Professor should just play your videos in class instead of talking, would save me a lot of time.
Thank you for this video! It helped me so much for my dissertation! Would definitely recommend to all those new to conducting their own ANOVA analyses and importantly how to interpret your results
Thanks. If you were teaching me I wouldn't have a problem understanding, but my lecturers complicate it so much. Some ppl have the knowledge but don't know how to impart it for others to understand.
Thank you so much for all that explanation. You have explained very well. I forgot most of the stuff. I learned that in my biology class about 25yrs ago. Excellent presentation.
this is a life saver (i dont understand how the two way anova works from our provided book ToT). idk if you'll ever see this but thank you so much!!!!! ^_^
This is an excellent tutorial on ANOVA. I think there is a mistake @9:37 this should be alpha not p-value. @11:02 You have shown p-value later as 0.035. Pls correct me if I am wrong and thank you for the tutorial. Really enjoyed! Regards, Engr. Ibrahim Omer
A topic which looked like a mountain till yesterday, has now become a molehill ! Thanks for the simplified teaching. Would be great if you could also cover up on MANOVA (Multivariate ANOVA).
Thank you for the quick reply. Actually I did watch the whole series on 1 way and 2 ways ANOVA, and I found everything extremely clear in your presentations, except for the interpretation of the interaction (or lack thereof) between the two factors. Note that this comments seems to apply to many tutorials I saw (inluding the MATLAB Statistics Toolbox). It is still not 100% clear for me what "when I combine both gender and age it does not seem to make a difference in the test scores" mean.
Actually that is a very good idea. I need to create a video explaining the concept of blocking and why blocking is used. Blocking is used to reduce unexplained variation, without increasing size of experiment. It is taking your large study and making smaller blocks (or groups).
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH SIR FOR CLEARING MY CONCEPT REGARDING ANOVE... I AM SO GRATEFUL TO YOU FOR EXPLAINING SUCH A DIFFICULT CONCEPT IN VERY EASY SYSTEMATIC AND SIMPLE MANNER... THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN SIR
Seema Agiwal Maloo You are very welcome. If you get a chance like my facebook page (www.Facebook.Com/partymorestudyless), share, like, because this helps others find the videos.
statisticsfun i just wana say you are amazing!! you have made this so simple and really helped me! thank you for taking the time to make this video and help us with our studies :) wish you were my teacher!
This was a fucking good playlist tbh. It helps a lot that the "long way" was used to demonstrate calculations - helps you understand what you are doing conceptually much better than when short cuts are used.
The data suggest that age impacts test scores and that gender impacts test scores as well. On the other hand when I combine both gender and age it does not seem to make a difference in the test scores. I would encourage you to watch the first video in the playlist (see video description for a link). I explain how the data is organized and I think that might help you.
Judi Barnes Great to hear and appreciate you writing me. Hopefully you will share and like the videos and like our FB page. It will help others find the videos. www.Facebook.Com/PartyMoreStudyLess Thanks
As always, nice video! Nice slow, steady pace coupled with very helpful visual representation. Very easy to understand (as well as statistics could be). :)
I love the way you teach! Please also make videos about:-Effect size-Cronbach's alpha-ANCOVA-Linear multiple regression-Logistic regression-Statistical power and sample analysisThank you so much!
thank you so much for you video's, they have really helped me understand. For me its easier to think of the calculation for the d.f. for Sum of Squares within (error) as number of observations (18) - number of groups(6)= 12
Thank you for your feedback. I was going to call my website and facebook page myprofessorsucks but went with MyBookSucks instead. A lot students have told me their professors are worthless and to an insult in injury you probably paid a lot of money for your class. Good luck in your classes!
That was immensely helpful! I just wish you'd have talked about what happen if that last F-Test for both Factors would have been signifiant - how would I know what kind of interaction there ist? Maybe you already have a video on that - if that's the case I#d suggest you link it in an annotation on screen in case anyone else might be wondering. Keep up the great work!
Yes you are absolutely correct, if the p value is less than alpha you would reject the null hypothesis. I did remove my previous comment I must of fat fingered my answer.
Thank you so much for this video. I finally feel like I understand this concept. I have one question. What if sig. = .000? How is that interpreted? Would the null hypothesis be rejected?
i really did not know hot to interpret cause my professor is worthless ..thats why iam here.. i studied myself and got upto the calculation part.. and for the interpretation part you helped me
These videos are really great and easy to be understood by students. Could you please let me know what "programme" you use to make such nice presentation. Many thanks in advance
I m unable to understand how u did calculation of the sum of square in this video , I had a look at ur video in the playlist . but still have doubt about some of square in this video. thank u and u doing a great job uploading these videos.

Thank you so much for spending such a long time for learners, for us :)
That's amazing. Mashallah as we say in Arabic. You really helped a lot of people :) thank you~
Hello statisticsfun, can you help me understand my SAS results, can email me through mosesmusanjoka@gmail.com
Thank you very much. This helped me in my statistics subject. Can I use video and share it in our class? thank you.
But every second of your video is worthy 🙌
If statistics lectures were as clear as this - there'd be a lot more statisticians in this world! Thank you!
Thank you for the feedback. Getting the pace right is always hard for me, so I appreciate the feedback. Thanks again and good luck in your statistics class.

You are the most ABSOLUTE greatest teacher I have ever seen (or heard)! Keep posting and helping.
Your heart is filled with knowledge and love, that's why your brain is smart and you teach very much well....keep it up my roll model teacher
You are god send even to this day. I am getting my masters in data science and the statistics lessons we are getting are like drinking through a fire hose. I cannot wait to share these videos with my cohort members.
You the statman.
This is terrific. Specifically with statistics, it's very hard to find clear tutorials, but this is so easy to follow. Well done!
Thank you very much. This is an excellent and very helpful video for statistics learners. You are a fantastic statistics instructor! I was confused at calculating F value and finding critical value in the course I am taking. Now, I totally understand. Thank you again and again.
this is just the right and needed video I wanted to watch to learn about ANOVA. Many many thanks.
Start at 4:45 if you watched the last video in the list. Thank you for these Mr. Statisticsfun
You are simply amazing. Your voice and art of explaining with patience are next level.
Amazing lectures. Better than any other video on the web.. Thank you so much
Thanks a lot ,7 years later your tutorials have simplified ANOVA calculating for me manually and in spss. At least now I can relate to the formulas from my class and handbook. Cheers.
Your instructions are so easy to follow. I start grad school next week. I definitely will be back to watch more of your videos. Thank you!!!!!

These are taught so slowly and meticulously which is great for a slow stats learner like me. Thank you!
Really appreciate your efforts to prepare this video series and sharing with the world for FREE. Thank you.
Thank you! These videos ended my confusion on how to calculate and write the degrees of freedom. I really appreciate your slow and methodical approach
Never saw something so beautiful designed for presentation.
Great work! Thumb up!
Thank you for this video! It helped me so much for my dissertation! Would definitely recommend to all those new to conducting their own ANOVA analyses and importantly how to interpret your results
Thanks a lot for this video! Repeateв everything after you in Excel and everything is clear! Thanks and have a nice day!
Thanks. If you were teaching me I wouldn't have a problem understanding, but my lecturers complicate it so much. Some ppl have the knowledge but don't know how to impart it for others to understand.
Can I pay you for this or something? You just helped me pass my final. Thank you heaven sent man I love you
Thank you for your set of 3 vid about this. Wish you good luck and a good health. From Vietnam with love.
Thanks! for the help. Your playlist has helped me with a grad-level stat course.
Thank you so much for all that explanation. You have explained very well. I forgot most of the stuff. I learned that in my biology class about 25yrs ago. Excellent presentation.
Sir, I bow.. Crisp clear and best!! A perfect video engaging the audiences.
Very nice explanation. Your graphics, charts and animations honestly help a ton.
this is a life saver (i dont understand how the two way anova works from our provided book ToT). idk if you'll ever see this but thank you so much!!!!! ^_^
Any video that shows how to find crit values in a table is a big help. Thank you.

Self teaching multivariate CRO testing and analysis. SO appreciate the videos!
excellent work as usual ... I may suggest saying that df for each factor = levels of the factor-1 ........... keep the magic flowing
Super helpful, the way my professor set up his slides was so confusing. This really cleared things up, I know this is an old video but thanks so much!
You are a great teacher.. It helped me alot for my biostats quiz

This tutorial helped me a lot to follow step by step. Grateful & thanks

Thanks for such a fantastic explanation. I can now interpret my 2-way anova results!!! You Rock!
That was a great playlist which I watched carefully and learn a lot from it. Thanks for the efforts.

sir ur awesome ..! am Rohini from India love ur teaching I could understand each and every point clearly thank you so much ....
Sir, my respects. This is GOLD.
Thank you so much! I'm a 1st year highschool student and I was tasked to report this in our statistics class.
thank you so much for you video's, they have really helped me understand.
For me its easier to think of the calculation for the d.f. for Sum of Squares within (error) as number of observations (18) - number of groups(6)= 12
Oh my goodness! Bless you! I'm not crazy about this stuff but you made it so easy to understand. Thank you!
Wow! Respect to your excellent teaching skills. Really making stats fun 👏
I love you, you saved me. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for a very clear explanation. Consider yourself liked and followed.
Thank you so much for teaching two-way anova!

Your videos have been very helpful for me. Thank you!
A half sem biostat course overview in just 5 videos :")
Our prof suggested this :"")
Lifesaver! You make the difficult easy.
Thanks a Lot for the simplicity in explaining. Could you please make a presentation on calculation for three-way Anova for three-factor interaction
Thanks ! I love statistics, but i need to learn a lot. You are precise and helpful
Me am like u am statiscian student so we can change some knowledge about it so contact me my email laalaabte8 @ gmail .com
Absolutely amazing! Enjoyed the video!
Excellent! You make life in Stat easy! Thank you!
Very Good!
I love the way you teach!
Thanks a lot.
Thank you and you are very welcome.
This video was very helpful. Thanks a lot for sharing that!
