While I really love Initial D, I think the anime could have developed more Iketani's character. In my opinion, he was one of the most believable characters in the series, and it would be fun to see him grow and actually win a couple of races.
I adore Initial D but I often felt that the supporting characters were sidelined too much in the show. I wish we got more shit like this, I would love to watch like, a Kenji race for example.

I love how the only scene where his car is actually doing a good drift is the one where it was takumi driving.
