Think of the really top schools (elite) in the US....they have the same here in France....however it's not money that will get you in!! French schools will pay you to attend! The French want the best brains in the country...not the richest people!!
To get into an elite French university....first get the equivalent of 7 'A' levels and be fluent in at least two foreign languages on leaving high school. More than 5200 students in the country achieve this......Then you will need to complete two years intensive training (Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles 12 hours a day, six days a week!!) in order to take just the ENTRANCE exams for your chosen elite university.
Less than 30% will be admitted... the other 70% can go back to ordinary Universities. To two years 'training' is equivalent two the first two years of a three year Bachelor's degree, so you have not wasted your time.
Those admitted will usually go on to double Masters degree's, Engineers degree's and Science degree's and the such like.
From age twenty to twenty-five you will receive an allowance (pocket money) and a contribution towards rent if you pay it....you can get help towards the cost of books should you need it. School canteens serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, less then 10€ per day! If you are from a difficult background...meals are free.... Lots of ordinary shops give discounts to students, train, metro and bus fares are also reduced for students up to the age of 26 ...... The real difference between France and the US....France spends 21% of it's national budget on education..... the US....less than half a percent!

Great video. Just had to sub I also watched your video about the school you went to not being correctly credited. Wow. I am think of getting my masters in Paris. I chose Paris as my step family lives there. My goal is stay in France long term. I know a little French but I am not super fluent. I know there are programs taught in English. I have a B.A. and an A.A.S. My B.A. is in Film Production and my A.A.S is in Graphic Design. Between degrees I worked in telecommunication and at the retailer Sur la Table in tech support and customer support. After getting my A.A.S I worked in the publishing industry, specifically magazines. But as you probably know in the U.S. this industry is dying and not in demand which is why I want to go back to school. I have been thinking of a number of degrees: International HR I feel like my years of customer support and being an assistant manager of a team would be helpful. I also thought of Luxury/Fashion management I worked for publishers of luxury magazines and I have a fashion blog and YT channel and I attend FW in both NY and Paris so I thought that could be helpful. I also thought of getting a masters in teaching as I had a friend who was working at a pre school there speaking English to the children. But not sure if this degree would be too much in demand. As I would want to stay long term I would want a situation where the company would need someone who speaks English which is why I also thought of International HR. Or at least until my French is better.
In your opinion which of these avenues would be most promising. I looked at SKEMA and IESEG but not sure if the credited correctly for a work permit. I can not do CIOFF as I am not in my 20s. Any how any info could help thank you!

There are so many ways to do this. Heres what I think would be beneficial for you - join a public university. The fees are cheaper which means lesser financial burden. Second, learn french with the money you save from not going to a business school because this will help you find opportunities in France. Your profile plus french will definitely find you opportunities in France
