Testing the EAA Aircraft Tie-Downs for Oshkosh

Light aircraft need to be tied down to avoid damage due to winds or other aircraft moving nearby. Not all airports provide tie downs, especially grass runways in rural areas or the backcountry. Having a portable set allows you to safely secure your aircraft.

Okay, this and your "...18 months?" videos illustrate well, the essence of what I believe, Experimental should be. Finding more than adequate based on mission, alternatives- that cost less, save time, save money, all of which you've accomplished with less weight. Aviation.
