I think the 80s vibe works so well for Joey because it suits his dramatic, musical theatre style. The 80s were often over-the-top, and that feel lets him cut loose a bit.

yes, there is a lot to talk about. especially about the magic summer tour. I have also been a long-time New Kids fan for over 30 years. I wish the kids would play their songs in full again. Nowadays, all the songs are made into medleys. I don't think that's good. I would also have liked to have seen many of the tracks on the new album live in full. I miss a real band on stage. That used to be a must. The songs were played very differently. The new album in particular has a lot of guitar solos. Why don't they perform with a real live band anymore? In 2008, they played the drums themselves and Danny and Joe sang I'll be there. I miss those things....
