I am curious if this plug is actually measuring the video input from the color of the camera OR is it measuring the color of the display? I ask because you didn't mention if the display being used for OBS needs to be calibrated before this software works properly. I sent a different plug in company an email asking this same question. They said they use the color representation from the monitor of the computer running OBS for their color measurement and NOT the signal from the camera. I would suspect the most accurate measuring would be the input signal from the camera eliminating the variables of the monitor of the OBS machine.

Crashing with Propresenter 7 and mini switcher. I am running i5 16gb and a VisionTek AMD Radeon RX 550 Graphic Card - 4 GB GDDR5. Pro will run but if I add the switcher it always crashes. This has been happening for weeks. I am thinking I need a bigger GPU 8GB. Can you answer that question.
Sorry to hear about your crashing. I'd contact Renewed Vision and see what they say about why ProP is crashing. Some of the more recent versions they've released have been found to have some issues, so it could be you need to revert to an earlier version. Or, other times when something is crashing there is a conflict on your system and Renewed Vision can help you identify what that is. Usually if a system is just lacking resources the program doesn't crash, it just runs slow and things are sluggish.
@@BallastMedia I determined I needed a bigger GPU to run 3 cameras, 2 projectors and a ATEM Mimi. Put in a NVIDA GeForce 2060 and everything seems to run great. I wish someone 6 weeks ago could have told me that. Thanks for taking the time to help advise.

Hi Stephen thanks for this tutorial. Hey wanted to ask you a question on an old video you did about a year ago regarding streaming to fb and yt same time. On my previous pc I got it nailed on and it still works but I got a razor blade pro laptop recently and somehow youtube settings though I set to 1080 with a 4000kbps and using x264 it still shows up as 720 on the stream. Is there anything am missing or why the quality when viewed won't go beyond 720 on yt. Thanks for your help.
Your sure you've double checked all your settings? There are several places along the way that could scale the video, canvas, encoder, the multiple destinations plug-in.

@@cncmedia1461 is the laptop hardwired if not that is your issue because wifi does not go well with streaming unless you have no wifi dropouts and no other wifi interference hope that solved your issue or if the op's info helped

It doesn't seem to work on OBS 29.0.2 on M1 Mac.
You might need to change the install destination to ‘current user’ instead of ‘all users’, which is the default. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Would this work if using a switcher (ATEM) into OBS instead of using OBS as the switcher?
Yes, all the adjustments I made were on the camera and to lighting, so it doesn't matter what equipment is in between.

Is that your Front of House board? What mix output are you using? Just a feed from the main L&R, or an Aux bus, or matrix?

Can this plug in work with vmix or xsplit?
Vmix has a waveform monitor and vectorscope you can use built in already. Click the color bars icon above the preview monitor window.
Why can't obs broadcast to multiple cam sites at the same time?
Cam sites? It can stream to both Facebook and RUclips at the same time with a plugin. Just know that this will take twice the bandwidth.
