    Some beautiful weld work right there 😍 Thanks to the insane level of pride that you and channels like 88Rotors take in their work, I’ve found it damn near impossible to find anyone local that comes close. Any recommendations for reliable offroad/ overlanding shops on the west coast of FL? 🍻

    I’ve tried finding the answer to my question on a few different platforms now and have not had a single response 🤷🏽‍♂️. I bought a 2019 Tundra that already has 35x12.5R18 Cooper Discoverer STT Maxx tires on it without a cab mount chop or body mount chop. I have absolutely ZERO issues with rubbing. I believe the previous owner had a leveling kit installed as well as wheel spacers. Can someone please tell me why I’m able to run 35x12.5’s without doing this BMC?!! Thank you in advance!!!!

    • @michaeljacques7336
      @michaeljacques7336 3 года назад +3

      Because it's a tundra not a Tacoma. A Tacomais a mid sized truck a d a Tundra is a full sized truck, the tundra has larger wheel wells then a tacoma. I believe the tundra came from the factory with 33 inch tires. most tacomas came with 29-inch tires so going to 33s is a big change.

    This is one of those moments where y’all probably take the mods too far. At some point you have to come to the conclusion that you now put yourself at more risk (cutting cab mounts) just for the sake of larger tires. This isn’t safe and I love mods. Just getting a different truck if you want bigger tires.
    This is honestly just too much.

    • @bakedkalechips69

    • @Runnin4Tacos
      @Runnin4Tacos  3 года назад +5

      This is an extremely common thing in the off road community. Chopping a cab mount is not dangerous in any way. We are not messing with the cab mounting bolts or bushings at all, we are simply taking a small piece of metal off of a big chunk of metal.
