what a good use of an E.Hoop. i have an old cheap one that has a horrible twisty upper thing to tighten it and i just cant get in with my thumb and finger to do it. so in stead of binning it. i will put it to one side and know that it has a use for latter down the line. Thank you lizzy for a clear and handy video. x
Hi Lizzy.😊 That is a great idea. Love watching what you make .You explain things so clearly and have some great things to make. So quick and easy 🤗. Thank you .
I have one ! My mother made me, but hers had sand in a pin cushion to anchor. I like your long piece better. I have 3 bc when people come to sew everyone wants one. Keeps threads tidy!!!!! Love your vids!!!
Well personally I’d use cotton, but you may have scraps to use up of upholstery fabrics or curtain fabrics.. you just need to think of the hoop and whether the fabric would go through
I downloaded the pattern and followed it exactly. I am an experienced sewing machinist. Very simple. However, I found that a 7" hoop is too small - an 8" would have been better. I think the problem is a definite seam allowance given would have been good? Also - I used a nice thick cotton material both for the outer and lining, but once the product was finished it kind of flops in on itself. Disappointing. I am going to have to unpick it all and use an interface before putting it all together again.
Love that scrap catcher I'm going to try to make one Thanks Lizzy
