It’s just unfortunate that you had the delay taking off from the uk , if you do , go back to Italy 🇮🇹 stay the night .. it’s definitely worth it .. great video 👍👍

Credit to you for attempting this. If you ever fancy another go I recommend 1) fly from Leeds, it’s nearer to your home 2) fly to Naples - for a truly authentic pizza. Well done!
Unintentionally hilarious video as you kept on hitting failures, from the delayed flights, to the smelly feet man for the duration of the flight, to getting a delayed flight to Milan only to walk through the airport and get a bus back into the airport, for that to get delayed and having to pay £9 a slice for a pizza ahahaha. Glad you got the pizza in the end though, looked nice

At least after all that, you managed to get some fairly decent pizza slices at the airport. I say that's a win considering what you were up against in such short time allotment. No, it wasn't a fail, don't be harsh on yourself, it was an adventure!👏 I really enjoyed it! It wasn't your fault the trains to Milan City centre were on strike, so weather and trains just like UK! Put these things down to experience. Personally I'm never happy with the Pizzas we get here, but both yours in Milan Airport looked delish! 😋 And at a reasonable price too. Only thing missing was some Gelato to follow! Honestly, this was one of your most interesting videos for those of us who can't travel much.😎 I did notice on the Flight Departure Board at Manchester it said Aberdeenshire. Could you go there next? I follow lots of Highland accounts and the weather is often sunny up there when it's raining here. The scenery is lovely and you could try the food. Hope you consider it! 🙏🥰🏴

If it makes you feel any better I once took a Eurostar day return to visit some small art galleries in Paris- all of which were closed on the Monday I chose to to visit 😐
I love day trips too but mine are more around going for drinks than food. Having said that, I think they add this extra "adrenaline" that makes the experience more fun.

Honestly, it's worth going there for a couple of days - and not just to eat pizza!! Milan is famous for the breaded veal cutlet they call Cotoletta Alla Milanese - definitely try it.

I feel sorry how it worked out, easyjet are (usually) better but can be delayed often by late arrival of the in coming plane.I refuse to fly Ryan air after such bad service. Still your airport pizza did look delicious. When i flew easy jet to Rome a few years ago Pizza was available everywhere! Never attempted a return flight in the same day and i think you need at least overnight - better luck next time, thanks for all your effort.
I had been watching your RUclipss for a few weeks ... from Milano. Because I enjoyed seeing the interesting foods and restaurants that you visited for your channel. What a big surprise that you had come to Milano. Yes, it was a rainy weekend. I am sorry that you were not able to come into the city. The plane delays did not help, and then the strike on the airport train. I suppose you had landed at Malpensa. Next time, try to land at Linate Airport which has a metro that brings you into city-center in 12 minutes, 7 stations, 2,20 euro for the ticket. I can perhaps suggest some places for a good pizza...

@@everydayimeating3407 Actually Bergamo is the Ryanair hub. Last time I flew to Malpensa I paid €120 for a taxi, but coming back the train was only about 30 minutes and €10, but a long walk from the terminal. Bergamo would be a good idea as Bergamo city is full of good restaurants.

I went via Eurostar and like you...Not the ideal seatmate (a woman fresh from a break-up telling me all about how he dumped her and bent on plotting her revenge between tears 🤦♀️) If you're brave enough to try it again, maybe head to my fave spot: Marghe over on Via Cadore in Milan.
Duty free used to be much cheaper than on the high street but with the rise in online sellers you can't find many/any bargains now. The CK perfume you looked at for £24.95 with 40% off can be bought for £26 online.
Think you should definitely try again and give yourself enough time to find an authentic taste of Italy. Best pizza I ever had was during an Interrail trip back in the day. Found myself in Bari, southern Italy travelling back up from the Greek islands. Gorgeous little restaurant, beautiful sunshine, outdoor eating and the most delicious thin crust pizza I have ever tasted 🍕 Please go back and try again 👍🏼

This is something I'd do 😁 I once did a 600 mile round trip in the car in a day just for a bag of fish and chips , anyone can nip to their local but where's the fun in that. Great video, as always. I dont understand why you didn't stay for a couple of days in Milan? You would have been able to go to many different local places to eat. If you booked the hotel early enough you would have got a cheap deal

Yes you should, but next time go from Liverpool to Milàn Bergamo, Miles quicker, Smaller airoorts, Ryanair both ways. Which Airport did you arrive at there, Linate?
You need to do this again with one night in lido de jesolo it's where Italians holiday themselves not far from milan and the food is good pizza pasta salads and the rest
There are different styles of pizza across Italy (one of the greatest countries I have visited in my life) - in Rome head to the Spagna station and just outside towards the Spanish Steps there is a lovely little pizza place - a little bird exists and feeds on your crumbs - we went there many years and saw a bird, who knows if it was the same or - existance in a little treasure
Your idea was a good one and then factors outside your control came into play. A great shame. A longer stay in milan should be your next plan with an italian taste test while you enjoy yourself. Better luck to you next time. 😎

Which airport were you flying to. Milan has 2 relatively near the city, but Ryanair uses Malpensa which is far away. Linate is easily the closest.

Duty free used to be much cheaper than on the high street but with the rise in online sellers you can't find many/any bargains now. The CK perfume you looked at for £24.95 with 40% off can be bought for £26 online.
Think you should definitely try again and give yourself enough time to find an authentic taste of Italy. Best pizza I ever had was during an Interrail trip back in the day. Found myself in Bari, southern Italy travelling back up from the Greek islands. Gorgeous little restaurant, beautiful sunshine, outdoor eating and the most delicious thin crust pizza I have ever tasted 🍕 Please go back and try again 👍🏼

I once did a 600 mile round trip in the car in a day just for a bag of fish and chips , anyone can nip to their local but where's the fun in that.

Great video, as always. I dont understand why you didn't stay for a couple of days in Milan? You would have been able to go to many different local places to eat. If you booked the hotel early enough you would have got a cheap deal

Yes you should, but next time go from Liverpool to Milàn Bergamo, Miles quicker, Smaller airoorts, Ryanair both ways. Which Airport did you arrive at there, Linate?

There are different styles of pizza across Italy (one of the greatest countries I have visited in my life) - in Rome head to the Spagna station and just outside towards the Spanish Steps there is a lovely little pizza place - a little bird exists and feeds on your crumbs - we went there many years and saw a bird, who knows if it was the same or - existance in a little treasure
