No but what you should do is visit some more UK towns, those episodes were great. The so-called worst towns are really not bad at all and don't deserve their reputation. For inspiration try Crap Towns by Sam Jordison and Dn Kieran
Mate please don't start researching too much lime people are asking, the fact that you are doing everything off the cuff is what makes this series so entertaining! 😂 Love it
Hello my friend lovely to see you as always!! It was a good idea for you to board another train to get out of that 1st station. Croissants & Pain Chocolat - lovely. Pleased you managed to find somewhere nice to have a meal too, the Steak looked absolutely beautiful, I don't like blue cheese so would have given the sauce a miss ! It's a shame you didn't get to sample Croissants where the Policeman recommended, but overall I'd say this trip was a success!! Thank you for sharing, take care 💜 XX
Always love your videos but these mini adventures are amazing. I hope you can do more. Maybe research where the best recommended places are for your food of choice and plan your adventure around that (making sure they will be open) haha 😍
Where you were sitting eating those pastries looked so beautiful! The steak & frites looked delicious 😋 Also… there’s no failures… they’re all experiences. Love that you’re expanding where you eat on this channel. Keep going dude ☺️ I love these new adventures
Good video mate, enjoyed that, the walking, trips on planes, the commentary, then buying food from bakery's, restaurants, cafes, like anything like that. Shame you didn't complete the challenge successfully, well better luck next time, at least you got some pastries, pan eh chocolate is gorgeous. Flight prices I thought were reasonable. Do more videos like this in future mate. Thanks.
Nothing wrong or fail for us imo,you had a couple of delays, one Baker was closed but you still had food. You showed us around and had a meal,it was enjoyable to watch though we can't appreciate the delays. That was a good one mate, cheers✌️
I found the croissants in Paris from like a train station type shop are better than some of the high end bakery’s near me in Manchester charging a £5 for one.
@@everydayimeating3407 when I am in Paris - a croissant, steak frites and Moules Marinières are an absolute must. I look forward to your next video as you make excellent & enjoyable content. 👊
This was such an entertaining video to watch. I related to you so much when you got stuck in the train station - definitely something I would do!! 😂😂 Please keep these videos coming 🙌
Hi from warm and sunny Los Angeles 🙋♀️ Ugh! I was yelling at my screen "You're underground! Don't go downstairs! You need to go upstairs to get out!" Underground aside, your trip was not a failure in my opinion! You kind of accomplished your culinary mission, had a big adventure, and a fabulous, classic meal. Plus the majestic Eiffel Tower thrown in! As for bakeries in Paris, in general, I always look for the super old looking, small boulangeries. You can never go wrong with those!
Sorry but this was hilarious. Trapped on the underground....the look of panic on your face said it all.....might be a good idea to wise up on the language as well....a few basic phrases maybe? Really enjoyed this!
Another great video..much appreciated! I'd consider this a success! When I saw the title I thought you would stay in the airport again but you got out of the maze of the Paris tube at least. Looking forward to more of these challenge videos!
Loving the day trips - what’s next? Germany for a sausage? Belgium for a waffle? Switzerland for a fondue? Vienna for a schnitzel? Looking forward to it 😀
I love these trips away! Keep doing them. Ohh no stuck in the metro, i would have been panicking! Like a maze i guess, goinground in circles forever more lol. Great to see Paris from a walking perspective as i want to visit next year, but by Eurostar. Are you going to do a Eurostar one? Maybe an overnight stay? Great videos, very informative, funny, and packing a lot into them!
The sign on the closed boulangerie said it was shut all week. When you said your return flight was from Beauvais, my heart sank, as it’s well-known that airport is in a completely different city, nowhere near Paris, in typical Ryanair fashion! Your coach transfers seemed well enough organised, but I guess not quick? If you can, get some footage in flight or takeoff/landing as it would help the video narrative of the journey and your videos will then attract the travel and aviation blog viewers!
Omg you must do more of these travel vlogs, they’re hilarious although I know must be a nightmare for you. But we love your vlogs. Keep up the good work. Much appreciated. X
Apart from the queue for train tickets and being unable to get out of the station, which I'm sorry to say, did make me laugh a bit...I think this was a success! These are great videos, definitely keep doing them.
Glad you made it out of that metro station loop lol I'd just ask someone for the "sortie". You managed to find your way to a decent bakery with the help of those couple of friendly police officers and enjoy a nice plain croissant and chocolate one. As well as a nice meal at the restaurant you spotted. Love these off-the-cuff one day expedition videos!
Glad you had a reasonably enjoyable day, despite a few glitches. Funnily enough I lived quite close to Porte Maillot for several years when I lived there, near l’avenue Foch, there are two or three good bakeries & cake shops, plus a few excellent restaurants and brasseries in the near vicinity.😊
Really enjoyed the video, but but next time just take the Eurostar when they have the £39 each way offers on..so much easier to get into the centre of Paris. Good luck for next time!
Eurostar is just so expensive nowadays as it seeks to rebuild its finances. Yes those £39 seat sales are great but try making a booking near to departure and fares are so expensive.
My anxiety did start when you couldn't get out that station , I would of asked someone that's before I had panic atack, I would of looked up the nearest place , if you do this again , look it up first otherwise your be wondering about all day , I did look up going for day to somewhere but flights were quiet expensive ! Xx
I wouldn't consider it as a fail! After all it was a success, what a pity, that this special boulangerie was closed but the croissant and the pain au chocolate looked amazing - not to mention the steak. 👍 And you've seen the Tour d' Eiffel - how impressive! 👍👍 I would still recommend the Wiener Schnitzel in Vienna or you visit the state capital of my home country Styria (Graz) and go for "Steirisches Wurzelfleisch" (don't know how to describe it the best way), or you visit a "Buschenschank". I promise you, you won't be disappointed, no matter what you would choose. Austria and Styria have a lot of gastronomic specialities to offer. 😊
Great video. That meal in London would have cost double that amount at least. My palms were starting to sweat when you were stuck in the underground station.
It was not an epic fail at all! Don’t be harsh! Quality Food is obviously much cheaper in Paris, from the Bakery to a Restaurant, those would've cost much more in the UK for lesser quality & quantity. Yes, getting out of that train station left me claustrophobic and your face looked worried! But the rest of it was a huge success and aren't French Police friendly? 😊 Though I don't know how you can drive in the dark on the motorway for an hour to get home when you're so tired? 😲 Loving these adventure in a day videos! 😎🙏👏
What an innovative video and I would hope more will follow ... although the travel cost will be the deciding factor. Although EZY's Manchester-Paris CDG one-way at £70 seems expensive it is still much, much less expensive than simply taking Eurostar London-Paris. I mean next Tuesday May 14 a *one-way* Eurostar ticket on an early morning train currently costs £186 !
I don’t think it was an epic fail at all, particularly if you compare it to the pizza fail trip. You enjoyed your croissant and pain au chocolat and that steak frites looked delicious with that generous portion of blue cheese sauce, which I’m now craving ! More of these, they are great ! Thank you
That was easily mission accomplished mate with bells on. I remember my first ever trip on the Parisian Metro , there was this dude playing Jazz on his Sax and I felt totally out of my depth 🤣 Great mini adventure appreciated by those that follow you 👍
Berlin next for a currywurst please, I love your videos, I hope you will do some European 3-4 day city breaks in the future, the tail end of the tourist season is usually less expensive and quieter.

Not quite an epic fail. The 2 policemen who suggested the closed bakery are not necessarily the best judges for the 'best croissants'. You found what looked like a really good place and you did say that it was the best chocolate croissant you've ever had. The steak and fries also looked yummy and at a really good price. I would rate it as a successful trip. Great content - keep going.
Look on the bright side luv, you had a wonderful steak dinner, which was a bonus for all us viewers! Also the bakery you went to looked like it had amazing patisserie, maybe go back to Paris to search for the best cakes creme brulee and Tarte tatin?
I think it the end you made it a success its just bad luck the place was closed and what you did find and eat was good + you got to the 2nd airport and made it back- a very expensive day though😮
Being simply unable to escape the metro station is precisely the sort of thing that would happen to me. Even so, Wikipedia says that station has 3 exits.
🙂 That was funny you could not find your way out of the station. Every station has an exit, but Paris underground is not the most straightforward. This was a success and original for me. Ryanair needs to upgrade you.
I really like these 'travel to taste' videos. Obviously, flight times and cost are a consideration, but I do hope they continue. Germany for a Bratwurst and a beer anyone?
Lost on the Metro…me and my wife laughed, but only because we had a similar experience when we went to Paris. Some of the stations don’t have obvious ways to exit! Loving this series there is no end of options….best Paella in Barcelona, best curry in Delhi, best sushi in Tokyo…..budgets may get a bit high though 😅
Should I return to Paris to try this again?
Comment Below
Amazing , I think you should also try Frankfurt where I have relatives. Also try Amsterdam. No need to go back to Paris.
