Use a smaller cable around 1 foot like the one came with your power bank since it is a dedicated charging cable and for the wall charger, use 2A or higher.
Thanks man, you helped a lot! My phone charger says it should pump out 1000mA but with the App it said it is pumping out 840 maximum and the number declined rapidly! So I will change my charger with a better charger which will give me 1000mA of power.
this method i did at home by myself works for me guys. only works with Android step one : open the backcase of your phone and remove battery step 2: take an old charger and snip only the side the plugs into the phone step 3: there is 4 wires sometimes 2 but it doesnt matter. take the red wire and black wires and remove the sleeve over the wire till you get copper wire step 4: take the red wire's copper wire and place it in the positive terminal of the batter and put the black wires copper wire and place in the negative terminal of the batter. step 5:carefully hold the wires on the terminals and insert the battery into the phone with the copper wires still touching the terminals and now touching the metal prongs that connect to the terminaps. step 6: now plug in another charger into the usb port. dont remove the copper wires yet. step 7: wait about 2 minutes and then turn on the phone without taking anything out step 8: if it says 100 then viola you did it. i just discovered this yesterday so i dont know if it works on all Android devices but please let me know if it does

Ampere app shows 1140 min mA, and 1740 max mA. But visibly, my battery can be seen losing battery rather than charging it. Without charging, it's -420mA to -850mA. Should be charging pretty fast, but no!

I collected 6 micro USB wires and 5 travel charger/adapters this app actually made me realize 2 wires needed to be thrown away! best charge increased time by 2 hours! made me see what max charging MA's! ,thanks.. my best combo was an LG wire with a Samsung travel charger adapter!:-)

I used to have that problem and it turn out my battery go bad because I used to charge it over the night (8-9 hours), as you suggested I replaced the battery and phone repair guy told me to use WeMo power switch with an app called Ace Charge. Basically this app cut the charge on full charge or even users are able to set any percentage that they want charging to be stopped! by doing this you kind keep your battery healthy
