The Bond Equipe also used the 'tub' from a Triumph Herald/Vitesse along with the doors. On the 2 Ltr they altered the door frame and made it more rounded. The outer skin was riveted to the tub which found quite funny.

I have only seen a Marcus Mantis once outside a pub in Cockfosters in north London in 1979 whilst some friends and I were cross country running. I found it quite a wonderfully odd looking car.

0:30 the panther looks like the “Lupin the 3rd” car (not the fiat 500). Cool!

Between 1976 and 80 there was a six wheeled car called the Panther it came with a 500 cubic inch Cadillac engine and more than one turbocharger I believe. It was as big as a 707 although it only sat two I thought it was an American company so maybe not related to the panther in this video ???

At 10:15 a Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 is shown. This has little in common with any crappy Bond car.

I used to have a "Crappy Bond Car" and it was a 2 Litre Mk1, a car that had quite a few reaction to it. 1. Teenagers laughed at it. 2. Middle aged men looked in awe at the styling. 3. An attractive young lady took a liking to it and wondered what on earth it was. And finally 4. A man in a BMW 8 Series drove past and did a rude hand gesture. To this day I never knew weather he didn't like the car or he knew my brother was a passenger. My brother used to have quite a few affairs with married women back in the day. I think the "gentleman" didn't like my car. Sold it in 2011. I did enjoy owning it as I found it very entertaining by people's reactions. I guess you have never seen one and you must be a BMW owner… But doesn't the 250GT look beautiful.
