Well would you look at that! Cimo actually learned his lesson about needing to be more specific from past episodes (though I think it needs to be expanded to include "normal summonable without tributes" just in case)

@@dianatheascian8701I got it in my masochist run and it's really good, especially that archfiend is live with any trap and that makes her life when archfiend is activated. i just need a welcome
Funny enough, my Masochist account has one Lady but no Archfiend or Big Welcome Lab.
But even then, Lady alone has helped me solo quite a few games with my trap lineup.
I even had some replays where I actually beat some real, constructed Labyrinth decks.
love that this series actually uses different music instead of the base soundtracks from year 1 masterduel.
That -100 twice got me laughing, can't wait for the new raidraptor support to come to master duel
chixiao can only negate the monster if it stays on the field. It's like impermanence.
Yeah, target negates generally don't resolve if their target cards ain't there no more.

Pretty sure that last duel against the bot was recorded on Cimo's birthday and was the last bit of Masochist stream backlog he had. Or at least I don't have any memory of him doing another masochist stream. Hopefully those will come back soon, I kind of miss them!

Random Challenge Idea: Cimo gives another Yugituber a full decklist of every Masochist card he's pulled and they build a deck to go up against Cimo's standard Masochist deck. Could be interesting to see if they see any potential strategies or synergies Cimo might have missed while using the exact same resources.
at 18:30 He could've summoned the "C", atk over the link, Summon kaiser glider get negated or whatever, set big welcome and switcheroo, end turn, Draw phase, activate big welcome and summon lab archfiend, then switcheroroo and now he has a negate on board and a 3300 beat stick. Cimoo still has much to learn about jank.

Been trying the challenge, I'm at the stage where I'm litterally going "bot, bot, bot, bot give me a bot, or disconnect" never really feel like I get that, half my deck is unplayable, that number used to be all but 6 cards were unplayable as I don't seem to get generic. Favorite card in my deck, thunder ball.... just dont got enough traps for him
IS easier to do this challenge in Magic, curiously, tried once.

Cimo, you always ask for good UR's and SR's, and you get bad ones. What if you tried asking for bad UR's and SR's?
If it was a main deck monster, Magician of Hope could almost be worth it. It's a opt battle stopper at no real cost.

I don't think it really would have ended up mattering, but cimooo did throw a bit against that first DM player. If he had just let them summon DM and then respond with IDP, the opponent wouldn't have later been able to threaten to summon another DM to trigger circle. Though eternal soul would still be the elephant in the room.

I will never understand why the pack opener thing has the glow/animation as if there's an SR or UR but then there isn't. Also, I love how often Cimo has been hosed by this, as well as his general luck with SR and UR cards, and still gets excited to see the glow.
There was a funny time I played against a bot with my That Grass Looks Greener/Reasoning Dragonmaid Blue-Eyes deck and when I activated Reasoning the bot didn't know what to do and never chose the level so I won from time limit.
I know what you mean. When duel links first came out the animation would pop up but nothing good was in the pack. 🤔🤷🏾♂️
I think it also does that whenever there are multiple foils in the pack.

im in plat V with my masochist deck unfortunatly i can never seem to get any higher than plat IV before im kicked back down to V....i just wish i had more cards. I do have to admit though I have an actual "Boss" monster it almost acts like Cimo's but imo a little better. it's Archnemeses Protos

I have to special summon it by banishing 3 monsters with different attributes from grave or field, can't be destroyed by card effects and i can select 1 attribute on the field and destroy all monsters with that attribute then until the end phase of the next turn they can't special summon anything with that attribute. It's a pretty good way to shutting down decks.
The same happens to me, I use a mostly water xyz deck and my boss is igniter light dragon, unfortunately I don't have that many good rank 4 xyz
@@okyx3985 Mine is mixed because i just can't pull enough of 1 archetype. I have Mathmech Cyberse and Balancer Lord's to summon Ignister pheonix which ive actually got 1 turn kills in doing that by doubling it's atk twice for 9200 effect damage. Magistus card's for easy synchro with the xyz and fusion counterparts. and pendulum's for clear wing.
I have 1 good rank 4 which is Quantum Mech Aeroboros however i don't have Green Layer :(

My masocist run is full of burn/timelord burn bots, i did however pull Winged dragon of ra and guardian slime, i just need a few more ra support cards to get to him more efficiently.

If you end up pulling Spellbound, it's an even better Dimensional Barrier. It prevents your opponent from using monsters they control at resolution for Tribute, Synchro, Link, and Fusion Summoning for the turn. It's a Quick Play Spell. The only downside is that its a UR. (It's also a TCG exclusive card for those looking for tech cards)

It would be cool if in addition to the total tally of wins and losses there was a tally for the episode. So maybe if you get more wins than losses in an episode you could get a reward or something. Just an idea to add some more stakes to the series

Free platinum for your birthday with a bot but the master pack kinda sucked. The raidraptor duel in the beginning was awesome, took control of that duel, deserved master pack. Dark magician and eternal soul annoying as usual. Switcheroroo quite a silly card, maybe one day we might get some peak moment with it to turn a duel around.
there is a rule that says that card that change control ALWAYS affect the monster no matter what the text says
